00:24that out but today we're at the beautiful gogmo gold golf club here in cambridge i think up there
00:29as one of the best if not the best golf course in cambridge i'm really excited to see what the
00:34white envelope has in store for me today so let's over to the clubhouse and see what's inside not
00:40there oh hello we're in business a poem again breaking 80 today in this challenge match will
00:52make you a winner but beware of the catch make a bogey or worse lose a club or two with a birdie
00:59you gain one and should see you through okay i think it's pretty self-explanatory gotta break 80
01:07but it sounds like if i make a bogey i lose a club make a double bogey i lose two clubs
01:12but if i make a birdie i get one black wow thinking about my round on sunday if i'd have done this
01:19challenge on sunday with my score i would have finished the round with three clubs i'm not confident
01:24no idea where it went but it felt like it went straight so because it's constrained to the sun
01:34didn't see it at all but let's have a look see if we can find it fairway found great start

01:48hit it way too hard stop stop stop stop i feel right to left for the path
01:54all right bogey at first to be expected let's go and see what club i'm losing
02:09right so there here is this is the hat of doom that's been kindly prepared for me by the master
02:13of ceremonies as you can see every club apart from putter is written on a bit of paper
02:18oh 54 degree wedge that's the wedge i chip with all the time hold on chip with just them that's not
02:30good all right so 54 degree going out any club i lose i'll put to the side here just with any confusion
02:38or temptation all right second tee got hit over this little kind of canyon little fade off those trees

03:06just want to lag it close and hope it drops in don't give myself any stress

03:20solid a par they're the order of the day i think hole three beautiful views around the countryside here

03:33okay so looking at the stats from real golfers about birdies and bogeys
03:37obviously got this from arcos who track an awful long number of shots and a five handicapped golfer
03:44will make a bogey or worse on 44 of holes so the stats are definitely against me here the stats
03:50would suggest i'm losing you know i'm going to be losing about seven or eight clubs during this round
03:55of goal it's not looking good but i've made a relatively positive start and hoped i can go against
04:00the tide and complete this challenge
04:04so 135 left just be a smooth nine iron

09:23turns out my laser i zapped the wrong flag i was zapping the next green
09:29and obviously this green is here my ball is actually on the back fringe

09:43well at least we're not losing clubs after the tee shot it was looking not good at all so
09:49eight holes in four clubs down could have been better 140 yards that would be a perfect nine iron
09:56but of course i don't have my nine eye so with it being a bit downwind i'm hoping i can get there
10:01with a really hard pitching wedge so let's see if we can hit this close and make it two

13:41need to do a chip from the rough around the green so out it comes from the the doldrums back into the bag
13:49so i'm now up to 11 clubs so i'm doing quite well i've got to say three over par
13:54on a par 70 course with five holes left
13:57i'm feeling confident i can do this come on
13:59right hole 14 the last par five here at gogba gog again 500 yards should be a makeable birdie chance
14:08i don't know who sets these challenges but i feel like they could have given me a bit something a bit

15:29right so that's a par four on the 15th one under par for this nine which is definitely going to get
15:35it done 16th hole it's a par four a long one 4 47 yards so to sum up i am three over par gross
15:45with three holes left 11 clubs in the bag so i've got to play the last three holes

15:57that's going i don't know why that might be fine just just right on the cross bunkers

16:39first one 60 degree wedge club i just used for that bunker shot it's gone

16:56par three and then the par four to finish so i'm gonna be without a long club for one hole but that
17:02is not the club i wanted to to pick i'm absolutely gutted it's on let me tell you it's touch and go now

17:51a five or a six is enough to complete the challenge so i am confident but you never know
