00:00This is the Lifetime Achievement Award.
00:02This is someone that has not just done a great job for one or two years.
00:05This is an amazing woman that not only went to this school as a child,
00:09but has done decades working there.
00:11So she actually, it's a beautiful story.
00:13She actually went from the dinner lady to assistant head teacher.
00:17Wow.
00:18So, you know, often you think about jobs.
00:19So she's had job progression and she's always used that food to teach the syllabus.
00:24Yeah.
00:24Science, history, geography.
00:26So she just knows, you know, she's got 50% free school lunches in her school,
00:30which represents a certain amount of poverty that we need to respect.
00:33And those kids are our most vulnerable.
00:35So she's not just feeding them in the tummy, she's feeding them in the mind.
00:39Love it.
00:39She's going above and beyond.
00:41Well, you're going to meet her in a minute.
00:42Yes.
00:43Her energy is profound.
00:44Yes.
00:44Right, let's go and find out how Jamie's getting on.
00:46He's about to surprise Mrs Green.
00:49I'd tell her she's won the This Morning Lifetime Achievement Award.
00:51You ready, Jay?

01:33I don't know.
01:33Shrek!
01:35Would you like to come in and see Kat and Ben?
01:37They're really cuddly, honestly.
01:38They're really nice.
01:39I don't think I'm sitting up with you.

01:51We might have one or two.
01:52How does it feel to us for Killeen?

02:00Clearly, that's why you are such a special and valued member of the school.
02:04You've done it because you just have a passion to help the children.
02:06We heard all the kids talking about how much they love your classes,
02:10how much they love being around you,
02:11and how much they've taken from all the things you've taught them.
02:14What is it about helping them understand about the importance of food and nutrition
02:17that you've really enjoyed?
02:18I think it's a life skill.
02:22If they can feed themselves, they've got the world.
02:27The world's the Royster.
02:29You know, they can travel the world with their taste buds.
02:32Mm-hmm.
