00:00At least two people have died and 17 have been injured in violent storms across France
00:06which toppled trees and flooded the streets of Paris on Wednesday.
00:11The victims include a 12-year-old boy who fell into a river in the Tarn-et-Garonne area,
00:17which is north of Toulouse, as well as a 59-year-old man who was struck by a tree
00:22in France's north region of Pays de la Loire.
00:25According to French authorities, approximately 110,000 homes lost power.
00:31Meanwhile, the National Assembly suspended their session as the Prime Minister was speaking due to the roof leaking.
00:38The session resumed shortly after fire crews assessed the damage.
