Transcript
00:00It's been 5 years since I was burned in a volcano eruption
00:04And I thought I would give you guys an update as to what my day-to-day life looks like
00:07Now compared to what it initially looked like
00:10So, let's go
00:12First of all, yes I'm still moisturizing and looking after my skin all over my body
00:17My skin texture has improved so much and I want to make sure that it stays that way
00:22So, everyday morning and night, I moisturize and I rub it in very deeply so that my skin really soaks it up
00:28On top of moisturizing I also use body oil because my skin deserves extra love and care.
00:33My skin feels extremely amazing afterwards but I also feel like it just helps lock in that moisture more.
00:39I also keep on top of my facial skin care.
00:41I do that by always starting off with a serum to help battle some of the redness and discoloration I have
00:46and then I moisturize because keeping my skin hydrated and supple is important to me.
00:51And always lastly I finish off with sunscreen which is one of the most important steps in your skincare.
00:57I have occupational therapy weekly reason being because I think it still makes a huge difference
01:03for my hands and their function whilst also looking after my skin one thing I don't want
01:07is for my hands to go backwards and since I'm still seeing positive changes I'll continue going
01:12weekly I also have physiotherapy once a week and of course I can't film inside because there are
01:17other people but everything I learn in physio I take home with me and use at the gym I find that
01:22by staying on top of my strength and stretching my body and my skin both feel better for it
01:28so that's my routine five years later love you guys
