00:07off a cliff while hiking on Mount Rinjani, the country's second-highest volcano.
00:12The victim, 27-year-old Juliana Morens, was trekking with five friends on the 3,726-meter
00:19mountain in West Nusa Tenggara on Saturday when she slipped and fell.
00:24Her body was located on Tuesday, but recovery efforts were delayed by thick fog and steep,
00:30challenging terrain.
00:31We wanted to do the evacuation as fast as possible by using a railway aircraft.
00:38And that became the first alternative, because the weather was not possible.
00:44The second alternative, with the situation of the victims, we can move on.
00:50We wanted to go on, and if the weather was good, we wanted to take a helicopter again to
00:57catch up using air media.
01:02And the weather was not possible.
01:06So, the victims are forced to do the evacuation as possible.
01:14Mount Rinjani, an active volcano, is a popular destination for both local and international
01:21hikers.
01:22According to local media, several tourists, including a Malaysian hiker last month, have died
01:28in similar accidents in recent years.
