Trump Mobile has partnered with Liberty Mobile Wireless, a small MVNO founded in 2018, to power its "Made in America" smartphone and wireless service. The MVNO, operating from Trump Tower in Miami, leases capacity from major carriers and lists under 50 employees with an incomplete website. Trump Mobile launched the "T1" smartphone for $499, claiming U.S. manufacturing in Alabama, California, and Florida. Though initial demand briefly crashed the order page, experts doubt large-scale domestic production is feasible due to infrastructure and labor challenges. The wireless service and device are set to officially launch in August as part of Trump’s push for American-made tech.
