01:01I'm Walter Hauser's son, and my earliest experience in Bihar was at the age of three.
01:07I was just a small child.
01:09I went to Shishu Bhavan as a small child.
01:14And of course, at the time, I spoke Hindi fluently.
01:18But unfortunately, I have lost the language now.
01:22But my father lived in the U.S., but his heart was always here in Bihar, and specifically in Patna.
01:31Patna was the center.
01:32And from his very earliest work as a historian, during his Ph.D., he discovered all of the complexities and all of the work that Swamiji had done for the Kisan here in Bihar.
01:52And it immediately captured his imagination.
01:54So he always wanted to come here to collect research materials and to make the Swamiji's actions more public and let the academic community understand what Swamiji really did.
02:11As far as wanting his ashes submerged in the Ganga, this, of course, was, again, from the heart.
02:20And he and my mother were both cremated, and they both wanted to have some of their ashes immersed in the Ganga to complete the cycle.
02:35And, of course, this is the place that they most loved and the culture that they most loved.
02:41The food, people, the music, the dance, the Satijit Ray, and the films, everything about Indian culture fascinated my father.
02:55And he was a great photographer.
02:58He took many, many photographs.
03:00And so often, it was just the face, somebody's face.
03:06And I would ask him, who is this person?
03:08And I don't know, just somebody I saw on the sidewalk.
03:12Well, why did you take his picture?
03:14He has such an incredible face.
03:17He just loved India and the culture and especially, you know, the work of the ashram and Swamiji.
03:27It's just fascinating.
03:29Mother and father wanted to be cremated and brought back to Bihar because they felt like they were Bihari.
03:38It's simple as that.
03:41They loved Bihar.
03:42They loved Khatna.
03:44And they wanted to come home.
03:48And we wanted to bring them.
03:51I came on their first trip to India when I was born in Al-Habbar.
03:57And now I'm bringing them back for their last.
04:00Proud of him.
04:01He was one of my best friends ever.
04:03And seeing all this love towards him just makes my heart so warm.
04:10After coming to Bihar, what is your feeling?
04:13After coming to Bihar, well, it just makes me feel more at home.
04:18This has always been a home since I was little.
04:21But now actually being here for the second time, this is actually my home.
04:24Now in 1957 in my life, they wanted to be a PhD subject subject.
04:29He wanted to be a business owner.
04:31He wanted to be a business owner.
04:32He wanted to be a business owner.
04:34The business owner would love to be an entrepreneur.
04:39He wanted to be a business owner.
04:40He came to visit a certain American professor in Delhi,
04:44and he spoke to a professor in the Massachusetts University.
04:52He told everyone that the Sitaram Ashram Job,
04:55where Swami died 7 years ago,
04:58was the most respected person.
05:02He came to his work with waterhouser.
05:09He started studying literature, he was living in the study of the literature,
05:16which he told me about the translator,
05:22which he told me about the translator,
05:26which he spoke to,
05:28which he spoke to me in 1961,
05:32and he became a professor.
05:35In that situation, he had so much
05:38in the work of Swamiji's work and
05:40the people of Swamiji's work
05:42that he had his life
05:44and his entire life

05:50problems.
05:52He had research that he had

06:02on Swamiji's work, in Bihar,
06:04and Kishan's work.

06:08and because of that,
06:10I do all my work.
06:12I am a professor,
06:14I am a teacher,
06:16and I learned all this
06:18from Walter Hauser.
06:20Besides that,
06:22I can't do all my work.
06:24And in addition to that,
06:26I have a pedal
06:28in Bihar in Bihar.
06:30Under Bihar's work.
