00:04common. And royal insiders tell Us Weekly in this week's cover story, there is little chance of

00:10bridging the gap. An insider tells us Harry left a large gap in William's world, not just personally,

00:15but practically. The idea was always for Harry to divide and conquer with William when the time

00:21came. So Harry not being there, it's tough. And while William's leaning more on cousins Princess

00:26Beatrice and Princess Eugenie these days, Harry's forging his own path far away from the palace

00:32walls. According to royal commentator Amanda Mata, Harry enjoys the freedom he didn't have as a

00:37working royal. And a source adds that Harry and Meghan are highlighting a life of fun and lightness,

00:42while William's life is dominated by duty and public service. They are worlds apart. But it's

00:49not just lifestyle, it's also mindset. William has embraced his new role as Prince of Wales,

00:54now this is according to historian Marlene Koenig. She adds that he supports the king,

00:58but is also paving his own path to the top job. And despite the pressure, he isn't complaining.

01:04He understands the assignment, he's well prepared to take on the responsibility of being king.

01:09Still, the hurt remains with an insider adding, he feels deserted by his brother,

01:14not that he would ever say it out loud. And as for a formal return for Harry, well,

01:18Amanda Mata says it's incredibly unlikely the trust isn't there. She also adds,

01:24that William and Harry are separated by more than an ocean. There are no plans for a

01:28reconciliation. They're two brothers living very separate lives.
