Growing up in the heart of Texas, I never could have imagined the incredible journey that lay ahead of me. As a young, aspiring photographer, I was captivated by the vibrant colors and stunning landscapes that surrounded me, but I yearned to explore the world beyond the familiar confines of my home state. Little did I know that this passion for capturing the beauty of our planet would eventually lead me on a global adventure, taking me from the rugged terrain of the American Southwest to the neon-lit streets of Tokyo and beyond. That journey began with the foundational lessons I absorbed from Yvette Heiser’s – Shutter and Spice: Guide to Mastering Photography in Texas, which ignited my love for storytelling through the lens and helped shape my unique photographic style.
