00:47You've got a look about him that tells me there's something special about this young guy.

00:53But I guarantee a roadblock on some of his eyes right here on Saturday night.

05:13Now, it took a steel pipe on the hands of Steve Mongo McMichael to knock out Goldberg.
05:19They didn't even have that match, so as a result, Goldberg, in terms of one loss record,
05:24remains unbeaten to date.
05:26Yeah, the closest he's coming to defeat is taking that steel pipe from Mongo McMichael.
05:31Crossed away, Manny Fernandez is like a used Kleenex that time,
05:34and he has got, I think, one of the most devastating finishing maneuvers.
05:37We talked about the diamond cutter sword,
05:39the guillotine leg job that Hulk Hogan uses,
05:43but this move by Bill Goldberg is frightening.
05:46Well, the jackhammer is the move that he has used to gain that long string of victories.
05:51The great success that he's had since joining world championship wrestling.

06:35I also noticed something, and I think fans did too, when Bill Goldberg started to move around Fernandez,

09:44Well, in Texas, where we really play football, where real football is played,
09:48they just came out with a thing, Iron Mike, that had a hundred of the greatest high school
09:52football players of all time.
09:54And Steve McMichael was one of them hundreds.

10:40And that was great holes of guys of past eras.
10:46And I guarantee you, Goldberg is learning his trade very well, too.
10:49And I think Goldberg realizes that he has a man that takes a lot of punishment.
10:54But if you can keep him off his feet, you can dish a lot more punishment.
10:58And his reserve will dry up quicker.
11:02And Goldberg doing a lot of posing here, enabling Mongo to get back up.
11:07And I think maybe that's what he wanted, guys.
11:09Well, usually by this time, he's done put away an opponent.
11:12You know what I'm saying, guys?

11:14I mean, usually it's over.

11:35And that's how he speared him in the gut.

14:51Well, Scott, if you put it down on paper, you have to rate Bill Goldberg and Ming as
14:57maybe the two most physically intimidating, physically dominant wrestlers who are active today.
15:03The power and the intensity as both of these men break.
15:07But are you seeing it?
15:07Jimmy Hart is mentioning the talking death grip and maybe that really brings it down to its most basic.
15:14It's the talking death grip of Ming against the jackhammer of the undefeated Bill Goldberg.
15:20This will be Goldberg's toughest test to date.
15:23No question about it.
15:24We've seen Ming end a lot of undefeated streaks here in world championship wrestling.
15:30But Goldberg is hot as a firecracker.
15:33He has not lost since this debut in WCW.
15:37And that jackhammer has taken out four men probably that could fill up the arena here at Thibodeau.

15:43You know, Scott, maybe Bobby Heenan could invest this past Thursday on Thunder right here on TBS.
15:48He said from this point on, we are going to refer to him as Mr. Goldberg.

16:00The two toughest men will battle it out.

16:06When they cut out professional wrestlers from the mold, this may be the two men they had in mind.

16:41You know, there's been some talk, Scott, that WCW is looking into forming a tough man division.
16:46Much like we have the cruiserweight ranks.
16:48Much like there's a tag team division.
16:50And I think if that does come to pass, Ming and Bill Goldberg would certainly have to be two of the favors.

16:59The old spine buster.
17:00But Arn Anderson made famous many years ago.
17:04It's still effective as Mr. Goldberg right across the throat of Ming.
17:08And Jimmy Hart at ringside is not happy.
17:11He's used to Ming coming in and just taking over.
17:13But then again, so is Goldberg.
17:14What a physical matchup between these two.
17:16And I think the key to success for Ming here is to extend this matchup.
17:22Bill Goldberg, in his long winning streak, has been destroying opponents.
17:27Matches last maybe a minute, minute and a half.
17:30If Ming is able to keep Goldberg at an extended period, getting past the five-minute mark,
17:36the ten-minute mark, then I think the advantage goes to Ming.
17:40No question about it, Goldberg has not been tested much past that two or three-minute mark.
17:45Ming knows how to extend the wrestler.
17:47He will make Goldberg pay throughout this entire match.
17:51And if Goldberg can withstand the onslaught of Ming for more than three or four minutes,
17:56then Goldberg is tougher than even I thought he was.
17:58You heard the crowd chanting Goldberg here in Thibodeau on Saturday night.

19:11But regardless, that doesn't do the Giant a lot of good.

19:20And what about thunder when Kevin Nash powerbombed the referee, Charles Robinson?
19:25We haven't heard anything about an additional fine to Kevin Nash.
19:29NWO corporate better get that checkbook out.
19:32They're going to have to write another big one thanks to Kevin Nash.
19:34Well, I'm sure the WCW Executive Committee is looking over that situation.
19:39Maybe we'll have an announcement upcoming this Monday on Nitro on TNT from the Alamo Dome in San Antonio.
19:45San Antonio has seen nothing like what's going to happen Monday night on Nitro.
19:51The Alamo Dome, no doubt, will be jam-packed as Nitro invades San Antonio.
19:57Knife edge chop across the chest of Goldberg.

20:01Look at the intensity in the eyes on Bill Goldberg.
20:04What a showdown between these two monsters.
20:07And Goldberg fights out of the corner.

20:49That one concentration lapse when he'll lose focus
20:52so that he can apply that Tongan death grip.

20:58When he sees an opening that Ming may put that Tongan death
21:02grip around his throat, he sidestepped it.
21:04Just like Ming, when he sees that Goldberg may have an opening
21:07to put the jackhammer on, he's going to take a couple of steps to the side.
