New York City welcomes its first-ever Buchette del Vino -- a historic Florentine wine window, reimagined for the heart of Times Square. Buchette del Vino NYC is a new concept from partners Chef Jack Logue and Chris Miller, the duo behind the resurgence of iconic restaurant, The Lambs Club at The Chatwal Hotel. It serves Italian wines through a custom-designed street-facing window on Broadway between 43rd and 44th Streets. We spoke with Chef Logue to hear all about it and got to try a taste ourselves when the window opened earlier this month.

00:00My name is Jack Logan. Myself and Chris Miller, we own the Lambs Club up the block and we brought
00:09a wine window to New York City. I lived in Italy for about two years. Chris has also been a few
00:14times and we love Italian culture and the wine windows are such a fun concept. Currently we
00:19have one Prosecco, four whites, one rosé, three reds and a Vinsanto. Five different Italian style
00:25sandwiches. Everything homemade from our restaurant and our kitchen back there. We're
00:30from Quebec, Canada. My daughter just moved here to New York. Just enjoying wine with the nice view
00:37and nice company. You know Times Square is a place that as a born and raised New Yorker I really didn't
00:44frequent very often. I kind of tried to avoid it. I think it's an unfortunate type of thing a lot of
00:49New Yorkers kind of feel that way about but I come here every single day. You know the Lambs Club is
00:54right up the block. You know Broadway is a big part of our community. Times Square is a big part
00:57of our community. Bryan Park. And we were like you know what why don't we bring something that's
01:02actually gonna class up the joint a little bit and make it a little bit of something that's a
01:06destination. We want everyone who's a New Yorker to come to Times Square. We want people here.
01:10You know it's great for the area, great for the businesses but we want to give something that was
01:14worth actually the journey and the trip. Everyone has been really excited about it. You know we have a
01:19serious fine dining restaurant where we really really focus on everything being as perfect as
01:23possible. For this project we want to have fun.
