00:00Big announcement from Aaron Rodgers and his future in the NFL.
00:04No, he's not quitting. He's not retiring. Not yet.
00:07But a lot of people thought maybe.
00:09He did say that this is most likely his last season in the NFL.
00:14So enjoy it, Pittsburgh. This is it.
00:17He was on his good buddy Pat McAfee's show today and talked about that.
00:22But the thing that really clearly wanted to get off his chest.
00:25I'm sorry, too much headroom.
00:27What?
00:27Well, it just bugs me.
00:28You want to talk to Aaron? Come on, Aaron. You should know better.
00:32Okay. Anyway.
00:33What is he, rookie?
00:34The thing he really wanted to get off his chest were questions about his marriage.
00:40Ever since he announced that, yes, he is married, we saw him with the ring for several weeks before he actually said anything about it.
00:48And now that he's admitted he is married, he's really upset about the reaction from the public and the media.
00:55It's a sick society, isn't it? It's a sick society.
00:58I lived in the public eye for 20 years.
01:00I had a public relationship.
01:01How did that work out?
01:02Because my wife is a private person, doesn't have social media, hasn't been a public person, doesn't want to be a public person.
01:10But now that's somehow, that's a weird thing.
01:13Where are we at in society where that's like the norm now?
01:16I know that I've chosen to be in the public eye for one more season.
01:21But my private life is staying private.
01:22And I'm with somebody who wants to be private.
01:24And if and when she wants to be out and there's a picture, she'll choose that.
01:30And she deserves the right to that.
01:31But the entitlement to information about my private life is so f***ing ridiculous and embarrassing.
01:37Yeah, I mean, look, it's different because he has been in high profile relationships in the past.
01:44Like Shailene Woodley, you know, Olivia Munn.
01:47Olivia Munn.
01:48And he's, I mean, you know, he has pretty, he's been out there and they've been seen together.
01:52And for this woman that he says he's married to, for us, not just to not have heard from her.
01:58I mean, we've never even seen them together.
02:00Not, not so much as a blurry car show.
02:03I mean, nothing.
02:04We have never, I mean, so much so that people thought she didn't exist.
02:06I apologize because I was away for a couple of weeks when all of this happened.
02:10Was there a lot of, I mean, I know people were wondering, was he married?
02:14Yeah.
02:14He was out at a news conference.
02:17No, no, no.
02:17But was there a lot, was there, were there stories about her?
02:20I just don't.
02:21There was not.
02:21So he was seen a couple of times over the last few months wearing a ring on that finger.
02:25Right.
02:25I remember that.
02:26So then when he, he signs this one year deal with the Steelers and he sits down for his first media conference with their local media.
02:32And someone says, oh, hey, is that a moon ring on your finger?
02:34And he goes, oh no, it's a wedding ring.
02:35I've been married for a few months.
02:36So that's how we announced it in a very nonchalant way.
02:39Hi, I'm Katie in Kansas City.
02:41And honestly, I think it's pretty interesting that he's choosing to stick with the Steelers for another year.
02:46Especially when he's saying that his wife is so desperate to stay out of the spotlight.
02:51Why is he so desperately clinging to stay in it?
02:55Especially after that 2024 season with the Jets.
02:57It was rough to watch.
02:59We don't like to talk about that.
03:01Jason Beaume.
03:01You let her in.
03:07It was tough.
03:07Yeah.
03:07It was tough.
03:08Yeah.
03:08What's OK?
03:08Yeah.
03:09We don't like to talk about this each other year.
03:10Maybe.
03:16Maybe.
03:17Bye.
03:17Bye.
03:18Bye.
03:18Bye.
03:19Bye.
