00:00:00as the Republicans had tended to be, and it's nothing of the kind. This issue is really dividing
00:00:04the left in ways that I don't think you and I have seen in a couple of decades.
00:00:10And yet there has been some divide on the right as well, Michael, and that's something you've
00:00:13covered a lot. You've talked about the new right. You have a new book out, by the way,
00:00:17on the first 100 days of President Trump's presidency. Tell us a little bit. You and I
00:00:21are going to talk more at length on Will Kane Country, but tell me a little bit more about that.
00:00:25The book's called Not Sick of Winning, A History of President Trump's First 100 Days.
00:00:29So there's 100 chapters, one chapter for each of those days and a big win.
00:00:33It's notsickofwinning.com. And I think it's easy for us to forget during these hard times
00:00:37just how much he accomplished during those first 100 days, certainly more than any of us expected
00:00:42given his first term. A lot of people thought his second term was just more of the same,
00:00:46and it certainly has not been. All right. Well, head over to Spotify or Apple.
00:00:51Check out Michael Malice's show. Also, he'll be on Will Kane Country, so subscribe to Spotify
00:00:56or Apple, and you'll hear more. Thank you, Michael, for hanging out with us here today.
00:01:00All right. Thank you for hanging out with us as well, where we get to the heart of the matter
00:01:03from the heart of America. Now we turn you over to The Five.
00:01:07Hello, everyone. I'm Dana Perino, along with Kayleigh McEnany, Harold Ford Jr.,
00:01:22Jesse Waters, and Joey Jones. It's 5 o'clock in New York City, and this is The Five.
00:01:26President Trump reacting for the first time after Iran launched a barrage of retaliatory missiles
00:01:40at a U.S. base in Qatar. Trump called it a, quote, very weak response, which we expected
00:01:45and have very effectively countered. And he goes on to say this. I am pleased to report
00:01:50that no Americans were harmed and hardly any damage was done. Most importantly,
00:01:54they've gotten it all out of their system, and there will hopefully be no further hate.
00:01:59I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost
00:02:04and nobody to be injured. I want to go to Jennifer Griffin. She is at the Pentagon.
00:02:09We'll give us an update before we kick off The Five. Hi, Jennifer.
00:02:11Hi, Dana. Well, it was extremely tense at U.S. air bases across the Middle East about four hours ago.
00:02:19Fortunately, now, things are a lot calmer. But earlier today, the Iranians fired at least 14 missiles,
00:02:28some of them ballistic, at the U.S. air base at Al-Udid. That's the largest military base in the Middle East.
00:02:34Normally, there are five to 10,000 U.S. troops at that base. Nobody was injured. All but one of the
00:02:42missiles were intercepted by air defenses inside Qatar. The president, as you mentioned,
00:02:48thanked Iran for giving the U.S. a heads up. That may come as a surprise to the Iranians.
00:02:55But it does appear that the U.S. had advance warning. They had taken a lot of the aircraft and
00:03:00individuals and people out of that air base. And many at the U.S. embassy were told to shelter
00:03:06in place. No American injuries, no American deaths. And so now the president is calling for
00:03:12Iran, Israel, and others to come back to the negotiating table. But it's not clear whether
00:03:17Iran will take that offer. The response by Iran was in effect because of that U.S., that very,
00:03:25very stealthy and very successful B-2 bombing raid on three Iranian nuclear sites this weekend.
00:03:33There were 14 massive ordnance penetrators. Those are 30,000-pound bombs dropped on two of Iran's
00:03:42nuclear sites. And then 30 Tomahawk missiles fired from a submarine at a third site in Isfahan.
00:03:48So right now we wait and see what happens next. But there are indications that Israel also might be
00:03:54looking to wind up their operations in Iran in the coming days. And now we wait and see what Iran does
00:04:01next. All right, Jennifer, thank you for being here throughout all of this.
00:04:05Let's take it around the table here. I want to start with you, Joey, because on America's Newsroom,
00:04:09we talked about this and what it was like for soldiers to be at an American base waiting for what might
00:04:15be happening. And you said that they were okay because they knew that they wouldn't be able to
00:04:19engage if they needed to. And now we have this result.
00:04:22Yeah, it's on tape. This is exactly what I thought the immediate response would be.
00:04:26I still worry that there will be either proxy groups or we'll talk about later sleeper sales in
00:04:31this country. There'll be some other way of showing their discontent. But, you know, when President
00:04:36Trump says, when he puts out a statement like that, it makes you think he's got some inside information
00:04:40on what their intent is. I love that he said, thanks for giving us that warning. The men and women
00:04:45on these bases, they're football players that just saw the clock go zero for the game to start.
00:04:51They don't want war, but they're ready for it. That's why they're in our military. That's what
00:04:55Pete Hegseth has beat the war drum on to ag nauseum. And so I got a text from an army special
00:05:02operator that said, you know, we're hunkered down. We don't want anything to happen. But at least we know
00:05:06if something does, we can shoot back. And man, that's a big turn of the tide. I'll tell you that.
00:05:11Indeed. Jesse, I don't think people have had the benefit of hearing from you yet since
00:05:15this all went down.
00:05:17Well, I'm glad they didn't hear from me Saturday night because I was at a party.
00:05:21Me too.
00:05:23But so far, so good. These strikes and retaliation look to be telegraphed.
00:05:29They didn't want any American casualties. That would have triggered an overwhelming response.
00:05:33Yeah. And they have to show a little something to their own public to show that they're still in
00:05:37charge. So there's no American casualties. There's no escalation at this point. And there's
00:05:44no mission creep at this point, which is great. And now you have an Iranian regime, which is the
00:05:51lead sponsor of terror without their nuclear scientists, their generals, their air defenses,
00:05:55or much of a nuclear program left. This is a best case scenario. When I saw it happen on Saturday
00:06:02night, I thought it was a right strike. Donald Trump gave peace a chance, but the Ayatollah
00:06:08gave him the middle finger figuratively. He wanted to meet him in Turkey face to face for
00:06:13negotiations. And the Ayatollah said, no. So this was the last resort. And it shows the effectiveness
00:06:21of this administration, the precision and the secrecy to be able to pull it off. But also,
00:06:26you know, the prestige of the U.S. military had taken a little bit of a beating after the
00:06:32Afghanistan withdrawal and all the trans stuff. To come out and do something like this, where
00:06:37they're putting a bomb on the target the size of an air conditioner, it's just an incredible feat.
00:06:43You're seeing our missile defense system knocking out other missiles in the middle of the sky.
00:06:48It's just amazing. And deterrence is back because, you know, Joe Biden, don't, don't. And our enemies
00:06:56did. Barack Obama drawing the red lines. They were meaningless. And China's watching. The cartels are
00:07:03on notice now. And even Denmark probably won't put up much of a fight over Greenland. And even the
00:07:09trade negotiations, this gives the president a little bit more leverage because it's not like
00:07:14we're going to drop bunker busters on Germany. But when you are willing to go to this extreme
00:07:20for something you believe in, the people that are at the negotiating table are going to take
00:07:26notice. I'm sure Lutnick is going to exploit this. There will be a damage assessment. No one knows
00:07:31the extent of the damage. It looks pretty devastating. You don't know if they squirreled away any enriched
00:07:36uranium and they're just spinning something on the fly. Now, nobody knows. And no one knows,
00:07:41you're right. You know, you could have a revenge attack in a year from now. Nobody knows. But so
00:07:45far, oil prices are down. The market was up. It's contained at this point. So, well done.
00:07:52All right. Harold Ford Jr., the one development today was this attack by the Iranians, which looks,
00:07:58as the president said, weak and might be the last one because it's similar to what they did after
00:08:02Soleimani, right? They had a response when they told all the people in Iran, it was an amazing response.
00:08:09And we all know that's not true. People inside don't. But what do you think?
00:08:13Well, good to be back with everybody. What a weekend. I believe Joey is largely right, if not totally right,
00:08:20in one regard. Our men and women are ready to go to war. They understand what the implications are.
00:08:26Jesse, you are right. This notion that our military somehow or another had been weakened
00:08:30over the last six months or three years, a lot of that was refuted. What the military did in terms of
00:08:36demonstrating their capabilities, the choreography of what they did, the planning, and obviously the
00:08:42president himself orchestrating from all press reports an unbelievable deception within deception
00:08:50was nothing short of astonishing.
00:08:54We're now at a time we got to figure out how we deescalate.
00:08:57I think where the president, his definition of deescalation is bringing them to the table to try
00:09:02to ensure that they don't have nuclear weapons, that the capability has been removed.
00:09:07Jesse's right. This damage assessment, I'm curious to hear Joey's assessment of how he thinks we
00:09:11should be thinking about this and how long we should be prepared to wait to understand. In other words,
00:09:16we have to put human assets on the ground to understand if we got all of this or not. I guess we'll
00:09:20learn a lot of this in the coming days. But to Democrats, I know we're going to, we have a segment on this
00:09:25who are invested in the process as opposed to the results here and who are raising issues that we
00:09:32didn't raise when it was a Democrat president. We've gotten to a point where Republicans raise
00:09:37things only when it's Democrats and Democrats raise things when it's only Republicans.
00:09:41We should be happy. This was an American success. What we defined we wanted to do,
00:09:45the president wanted to do. Now, then I think the thing for me that is most concerning as we sit here
00:09:50today is, are we talking about regime change or are we satisfied with where we are now in determining
00:09:56if we were able to remove this capability? And I guess over the next few weeks, we'll be able to have
00:10:01this conversation. It's hard to know, Kayleigh, because it's 300 feet below ground. And it's hard
00:10:06for us to imagine what the bunker busters are actually able to do because you can't see it.
00:10:10Yeah. And from what I understand, we plan to pick up some of the post damage assessment from
00:10:15signals intelligence. So we can overhear Iranian communications. We're very sophisticated and
00:10:20Israel has penetrated deep within Iran. So they have assets in their informants who will give us
00:10:25that information. Look, Iran today tried to save face and instead they fell on their face
00:10:31spectacularly. And if you had any question if Iran was a rational actor, I believe the answer to that
00:10:37is categorically no. You know, this all began the posture before Fordow was hit. Was President Trump
00:10:42saying unconditional surrender. Iran responded, we will never surrender. Okay, that's to the
00:10:47number one power in the world. We are the world's hegemonic power here in the United States. So that
00:10:52was their answer. Then they were asked, hey, are you going to negotiate with the United States?
00:10:57They said, no. And they said, and we will never end enrichment. We would rather have war.
00:11:01That is the posture of Iran. And then today, maybe it was an intentionally we response, maybe not,
00:11:06but any response in my mind against the world's hegemonic power was going to end this way.
00:11:10And instead what they got today, China's already left, Russia's already left. Well,
00:11:15guess who condemned the attacks? Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Morocco,
00:11:21Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, and the Palestinian Authority. So you've literally lost everyone in
00:11:25the Middle East. Everyone except I think Iraq hasn't condemned it yet. Maybe they have.
00:11:30And I just want to say, lastly, just how wrong everyone has been on President Trump. You know,
00:11:34they said tariffs, you know, the economy is going to end while the economy is still rolling along. Oil is going
00:11:39to rise. Well, oil is falling. World War III is about to start. Well, instead, you've got the
00:11:44entire Middle East, it seems set up in a posture where we may see more Middle East peace accords.
00:11:49So rather than World War III, we may get more peace. And rather than 34 felony counts,
00:11:54President Trump may end up with 34 Nobel Peace Prizes. That was for the leftists. You can clip this
00:11:58and make it go viral and go nuts. One of my favorite tweets over the weekend was somebody who said
00:12:02he just started World War III and it's over. Exactly. All right. Up next, the world is bracing
00:12:09for other ways Iran could retaliate, like cutting off a crucial waterway for oil.

00:16:41Iran's plotting other ways to retaliate, including a threat to shut down the Strait of Hormuz,
00:16:46a crucial waterway through which about 20% of the world's oil and natural gas shipments
00:16:51passed through. But the White House is warning they'd be foolish to make that decision.
00:16:57I think that would be suicidal. Their entire economy runs through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:17:02If they want to destroy their own economy and cause disruptions in the world,
00:17:06I think that would be their decision. If they do that, it'll be another terrible mistake.
00:17:09It's economic suicide for them if they do it. It would be, I think, a massive escalation.
00:17:14That would merit a response, not just by us, but from others.
00:17:17President Trump keeping a close eye on the situation. He posted on Truth, quote,
00:17:22everyone keep oil prices down. I'm watching. You're playing right into the hands of the enemy.
00:17:28Don't do it. And from oil to cyber, the DHS is warning of retaliatory cyber attacks from Iran.
00:17:36So that would be really dumb if the Iranians did that, Harold Ford Jr. Not only would they
00:17:41invite a huge response from the world, but they'd hurt their own economy.
00:17:46More important, they would hurt their own economy. You think about it. First of all,
00:17:49in the history of this, of this, the Strait, they've never closed it. Number two, 20 million
00:17:54barrels of oil a day go through there. 20% of what we, the world uses. We use 20 million barrels
00:18:00a day as Americans. So 20% of the production each day we use. We fortunately are not as impacted by that
00:18:06because of what we do in our own country, the production that has resulted here over the
00:18:11many years. Barack Obama, who probably had the worst posture towards oil and gas, but was as good as
00:18:18any president has been as it relates to oil and gas drilling and exploration in the country,
00:18:22was a big part of that. And now we are where we are. I think if they do this, it also demonstrates
00:18:28to the Iranian people that this regime that's in charge, and I'm not arguing that we should be for
00:18:33regime change. But why would you do something that would hurt your own economy when you've already
00:18:37failed the people economically for so many years? So I agree with Secretary Rubio and Vice President
00:18:42Vance on this. This seems like an odd thing to do. But I got to tell you, you can't put odd things
00:18:47out of the realm when you talk about Iran. Right. But they do seem totally focused on regime
00:18:53survival at this point. Yeah. I mean, one would presume. And the greatest way for your regime not to
00:18:59survive is you've already pissed off the United States. Why don't you throw in China? Right?
00:19:03Because China, one thing they care most about is China. They don't care about Iran. And China in Q1,
00:19:10the first quarter of this year, 38% of oil that went through the Strait of Hormuz went to China.
00:19:15China cannot allow the Strait of Hormuz to close. That's why Secretary of State Marco Rubio was so smart
00:19:21to say, this Strait can't close. China, time to step up. So Iran's not going to do that because then they'd get
00:19:26China on their bad side. They already have Russia on their bad side. Prior to this all occurring,
00:19:32Putin made the point to emphasize our strategic cooperation agreement with Iran does not include
00:19:36military defense. So you've lost Russia. You've lost China. You've lost the axis of resistance.
00:19:42And Rahm Emanuel made a really smart point last week before all this went off. He said,
00:19:46when the chips are down, the axis of resistance doesn't appear to be found anywhere. And you want
00:19:51to lose China further, isolate them, close the Strait. It's amazing going into this strike,
00:19:56Dana, you go through the list of possible things that they could do. And at this point,
00:20:03it seems like it's not as bad as everybody thought. Well, and I think that we haven't mentioned
00:20:09someone, a part of this attack and all of this effort that we haven't mentioned yet. And that's
00:20:15the Israelis. The Israelis are so innovative. They're so creative. Their intelligence destroyed
00:20:22Hezbollah and Hamas degraded their capabilities to the point that Iran, who relies on proxies in
00:20:28order to attack us or the Jewish people in Israel, they can't do it. And now because Israel did all
00:20:36of that intel work and then they went in and they got air supremacy, that meant that they could take out
00:20:41missile launchers and rockets. So, and it gave, it cleared the way for President Trump to be able
00:20:46to say, all right, I'll do it. And I'll do the final, because you don't have that capability,
00:20:50I'll do that final thing. And it was such a moment of unity that I think the Iranians are just
00:20:55sitting there going, what, what could we do? We could throw, we could throw a few missiles to Qatar now.
00:21:02That didn't work. What I am concerned about is the cyber capability because you could take out
00:21:08missiles and things like that. But it doesn't take that many people to figure out a way to hurt,
00:21:14let's, for example, let's see, what would they do to America? Let's say ban TikTok. Like maybe they
00:21:18would actually ban TikTok. And there would be a huge outcry and American children, everyone would be so
00:21:25upset. The cyber issue, I think, is the one that we have to think about the most. I think the sleeper
00:21:32cells are a concern. We're going to talk about that in a moment, I understand. But Iran, because of what
00:21:37the Israelis did, is kind of unable to respond in a way that they would have, you know, three years
00:21:44ago before October 7th. What do you think is the biggest threat right now that we face from Iran at
00:21:51this point? Well, we just saw a suicide bomber in Damascus. But I think what's different this time
00:21:57around is that the Arab countries don't have the stomach for it. I think they'll be a part of the
00:22:02solution, not the problem. I think the biggest threat probably is terror here in our country.
00:22:08But I don't know that, I guess my response to that has been if they're already here,
00:22:11they were already here. When you look back at 9-11, it wasn't, to my knowledge, it wasn't,
00:22:16there was a major action by Clinton or Bush that said now's the time. It was planned for a long time.
00:22:22And in 9-11, it happened. I would argue you could juxtapose Trump's actions on the nuclear sites to
00:22:29had Clinton taken out Osama bin Laden when he had the opportunities to. And so for the past,
00:22:34for the pacifists out there, sometimes military action is the prevention of war.
00:22:39If you look at Iran's military capabilities, they have a unique Navy. It's built around like the
00:22:44swarm mentality. They have small agile ships that can attack. They can't really defend.
00:22:49The last time their Navy went up against us in 1988, we sunk half of it, pretty much. So I don't
00:22:54think, you know, it really depends on does President Trump want to keep pushing.
00:22:58From his post that he put out or his statement, I really don't know that any of this stuff is on
00:23:02the table anymore. Yeah. And from what Jennifer Grishman mentioned,
00:23:06it looks like he's probably going to not pressure Netanyahu, but maybe guide him off this,
00:23:14what looks like an attempt on the life of the Ayatollah. If they can maybe not do that,
00:23:20and there's no more retaliatory strikes, then this is almost like the perfect operation.
00:23:26I think you're exactly right. I mean, his tweets were peace and the hate. Both sides should step
00:23:32back. I'm paraphrasing that last one. I think you're exactly right. He doesn't want regime
00:23:35change. That regime change post was meant for the Ayatollah. It was a warning shot to him. I think it
00:23:40was a head fake, but a warning shot, an important one. Okay. Can I say something? Yes,
00:23:44Jennifer Griffin has been unbelievable. We're so fortunate to have her. And I think you have been
00:23:48unbelievable. So much of what you've said over the weekend. I did not see, but I heard a lot about
00:23:54it. It was common sense from Harold. All right. Up next, AOC and other angry Democrats pushing
00:24:00impeachment after President Trump's flawless strikes on Iran.
00:24:049.59 a.m. when the South Tower came down. That is the time I lost my brother, Stephen.
00:24:24I remember watching the catastrophe in 9-11 from home in Northern California. And the first thing I did
00:24:30when I came to New York was to come down here and visit the site. And until you come here and see
00:24:36it and surrounded by all these buildings, I can't even imagine what was taking place. The chaos. It was
00:24:42the devastation. Let's go to this great place that takes care of Tunnel to Towers. And all first
00:24:49responders, I want you to come in and meet Mike. So this is a historic bar. Well, I hire is here right
00:24:59across the street from Ground Zero. It's the first anniversary of 9-11. Everybody was in here. It was
00:25:05mob with all the police, fire, military from all over the world. And Big John, construction worker,
00:25:11ripped a patch off a guy's shirt, stapled it on the wall. And then it just started from there. And now
00:25:16there's thousands. If you have a buddy that's been in the fire department or the sheriff's office,
00:25:22police department, then you get some context of, you know, here's some of their stories. But
00:25:26there's no way to explain what they've gone through. I know you're joining us at a lot of our events,
00:25:32some groundbreakings when we're giving a mortgage-free home to a catastrophically injured
00:25:36service member or, you know, breaking ground. I love how you say that so easily. Giving a
00:25:41mortgage-free home to a catastrophically injured veteran. Do people understand what that means?
00:25:47By the end of next year, we'll have paid off mortgages for over 2,000 of these great heroes.
00:25:51Our motto in the Guy Fieri Foundation is serving those who serve us. Love it. We already got 10,000
00:25:57homeless vets off the streets. We just recently bought 15 different hotels that were remodeling
00:26:02each one of them. The reality of it is, is the dignity that these people deserve. That is the
00:26:08key word, in my opinion. Dignity. Go to t2t.org to learn more and donate today.

00:27:59Check this out. Okay. Garlic buffalo disappear. How did you do that? Honey, he's a magician. Let
00:28:06him do his thing. So, can we magic it back? I haven't learned that part of the trick yet. See
00:28:10what happens when you get on a magic hit, Dad? Could have been drums.
00:28:13Well, the Democrats seem to be divided on how to respond to President Trump's decisive
00:28:28strikes on Iran's nuclear sites. AOC with this hot take, quote, it is absolutely and clearly grounds
00:28:34for impeachment. Others not going so far as impeachment, but are upset that the strikes
00:28:39were done without congressional authorization. The president has acted so prematurely.
00:28:45The destruction of these facilities is a positive in the sense that it will set back
00:28:51Iran's program. Trump lied to the American people and to his voters, promising he would
00:28:57not get us in yet another Middle East war. He was lying to us about what he was going to
00:29:02do. It is so grossly unconstitutional. Literally, you could have holidayed us on Monday.
00:29:08I've been always calling to destroy these nuclear facilities.
00:29:11It clearly could endanger our forces in the region and Americans around the world.
00:29:18John Fetterman, the one voice who has been so supportive on this.
00:29:21Jesse, I want to ask you, if Democrats were informed, and we know Chuck Schumer was informed
00:29:26just before. We know there was an attempt to call Hakeem Jeffries. Caroline Leavitt has confirmed
00:29:30this for us. But if they were informed more broadly, do you think this would have remained a secret
00:29:34from the press? No, they would have leaked it. Shifty shift leaked everything from the Russia
00:29:39investigation. I wouldn't trust the Democrats as far as I can throw them. And I can throw Democrats
00:29:43far. Ask Harold. If Biden had launched these strikes, Kayleigh, Morning Joe would have wanted
00:29:51to throw a military parade for them. Democrats would have lined up and called them bold and
00:29:56decisive. Churchillian. I can see it now. Right now, they're saying they should have been able
00:30:04to vote on it. They didn't want to vote on it. They don't want to vote on anything. And why would
00:30:10you have Congress vote on a secret airstrike? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's a secret
00:30:17strike. You don't let the whole world know you're about to do it by calling a vote. This isn't a
00:30:22ground invasion where you need authorization. Obama and Biden launched thousands of missile
00:30:28strikes against Syria, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq. No Democrat ever called for congressional
00:30:34authorizations. They didn't say anything. They're trying to find this clever political terrain
00:30:41that they only care about inside the beltway, where they can be against Trump on a technicality,
00:30:48but not against this mission. And they think it's really smart in Washington, but everybody in the
00:30:53rest of the country is like, yeah, we know what you guys are up to. You guys sound like stupid
00:30:57politicians. Now, Barack Obama, he was anti-war and he won the nomination kind of based off that,
00:31:04but he was anti-Iraq war. He wasn't anti-war. AOC is like anti-war. Like if Trump had launched
00:31:13strikes against the devil, she would have been like impeached. That's how crazy she is. I used
00:31:18to think she had a shot at a career in Washington. No more. I'm going to have Johnny run against her in
00:31:23Brooklyn. That's how sure I am he could win. Man, Johnny for Congress. I like it. Dana,
00:31:29you know, to Jesse's exact point, Senator Kaine was calling for a public debate before the American
00:31:34people. How do you have a public debate about a stealth mission? Well, also, it's like we have
00:31:39been actually having this debate for 20 years about Iran wanting to get a nuclear weapon. And it's been
00:31:45one of the most bipartisan agreements in Washington for 20 years. Bush 43, Obama, Biden, Trump, Biden,
00:31:56Trump, everybody was against Iran getting a nuclear weapon. The intel community, well, maybe more on
00:32:04that later, Israel told the president, look, they've lit the fuse. They are two to four weeks
00:32:11away from being able to have a bomb. Here's what we've done to lay the groundwork for you. If you
00:32:15want to, please, sir, if you would make that decision, that would be, you'll be so grateful. And
00:32:19that's what happened. And instead of on the night, you remember when Osama bin Laden was killed,
00:32:25remember the celebration outside of the White House? And Obama was every good thing under the
00:32:33sun. And in this one, they just want to complain about it. There's, you couldn't, you couldn't even
00:32:37get Democrats to say, wow, our men and women in military uniform. Amazing. That was not their first
00:32:45reaction. Also, I would end with this. Hakeem Jeffries not answering the phone is the perfect
00:32:52metaphor for his leadership of the Democratic Party in the House. Yes, absolutely. That's well
00:32:57said. You know, Harold, so for AOC to say this merits impeachment, that's saying that it is a high
00:33:02crime and misdemeanor to deprive a maniac regime of nuclear weapons. I mean, it's preposterous.
00:33:08But my question to her would be, I mean, would you impeach Biden for attacking the Houthis without
00:33:12congressional authorization, Obama and Libya? Clinton, we can go down the list. I think you
00:33:17said it well yesterday when we were on with Brett about there have only been 11 authorizations
00:33:21of war, but over 150 efforts on the part of our military defending our interests around the globe.
00:33:28I understand what some of these people are talking about. But when Democrats, including the
00:33:33Congresswoman from here in New York, suggested the president ought to be impeached. The greatest
00:33:39destabilizer of peace and stability in the Middle East in my lifetime, and I'm 55 years old, has been
00:33:44the Iranians. And the Israelis, to Dana's point, have done so much over the last several months. And
00:33:50we forget the pager where they blew up those guys. It had to be a very upsetting day for those
00:33:58fellows that had pagers in their pockets and the things blew up to where we are today. And I don't
00:34:03mean to make light of it, this was an incredible effort. Now, the person I give a lot of respect to
00:34:08because he has been consistent, because I think Democrats will only complain about it when it's
00:34:12Republicans. And Republicans a lot of times complain when it's Democrats when there's an effort
00:34:16using our military. It's been Tim Kaine, who did this when there were Democrats in office and Republicans
00:34:21in office. I don't think he's right about this one. But I do think the reforming the War Powers Act is
00:34:27probably a smart thing. People forget it passed in 1973. Congress, Senate passed it. Nixon vetoed
00:34:33it. The Congress and the Senate overrode the veto. This is all about Vietnam and the intense
00:34:38conflicts there and the prolonged conflicts there. Congress wanted a greater voice.
00:34:42We may be at a point to take this situation. I think the president was right in what he did.
00:34:46He was constitutionally correct in what he did. We may need a longer conversation and a serious
00:34:51conversation about the War Powers Act when we're not about to engage in military conflict when people
00:34:56can look at it in a more sober and sane way. Yeah. And look, there's ample examples. Jonathan
00:35:02Turley points out Hillary Clinton arguing there's no need to inform Congress when she was
00:35:06Secretary of State. Joey, I'm curious your thoughts as someone who served.
00:35:09Just all of these Democrats that are, you know, losing their mind over President Trump doing
00:35:14something that might prevent war. You know, where in the hell were they at when Biden withdrew from
00:35:19Afghanistan and 13 of our service members died? I mean, we just showed a clip there of one of them going,
00:35:23oh, that definitely puts troops in danger. Well, you know, I've seen troops in danger. I've seen
00:35:28troops in danger when Obama gave us, gave us rules of engagement that ultimately, in my opinion,
00:35:34went to the loss of my friends and my legs. I've seen troops in danger when, when Biden brought us
00:35:40out of Afghanistan in a way that absolutely left us sitting ducks to the point that we negotiated with
00:35:46the Taliban to provide our security. That doesn't put troops in danger negotiating with our sworn
00:35:53enemy to provide security for us because they may not like the other guys worse than us.
00:35:58Where were you at then? Where were your, your crocodile tears, your call for impeachment? I mean,
00:36:03I can't wait for three or four months from now when there's an investigation and we find out that
00:36:08Hillary Clinton paid Christopher Steele to research and do a report that shows that Trump's a Mossad
00:36:13plant because that's the basis of impeachment for the Democrat Party. Wow. Well, we will keep you
00:36:19updated. All right. Up next, Joe Biden's wide open border nightmare. Iran might be waking up
00:36:25terror sleeper cells. Wow. Right here in the United States.

00:40:39President Trump secured our southern border, and yet we're still paying the price for four years of Joe Biden's negligence
00:40:53after he let millions of unvetted migrants pour in.
00:40:56NBC News reports that Iran threatened to unleash attacks of sleeper cells inside the U.S. if it was attacked.
00:41:04And Fox reports Border Patrol nabbed over 1,500 Iranians crossing illegally since 2021 with nearly half released into U.S. cities.
00:41:15Dana, I can't help but think back to 9-11 and our posture then and where we are now with TSA and Homeland Security
00:41:22and all the things we've done to monitor.
00:41:24Do you feel like maybe we're in a better place now to see these things coming?
00:41:29I think so, and I think the other thing that happened after 9-11 is, one, that wall came down between intel and law enforcement
00:41:34so you can share information.
00:41:35And also you have what Fran Townsend was talking about on Newsroom, which are these joint terrorism task forces.
00:41:41And what that is, basically, it has local law enforcement in the same room with Department of Homeland Security and the FBI
00:41:47so that everybody is sharing information at the same time.
00:41:50And for the most part, it works pretty well.
00:41:54In addition, I believe that because of Patel and Bongino being at the FBI,
00:42:00that they have had their eyes on any Iranian sleeper cells probably for a while.
00:42:06And the big concern, as Maloujian talked about today, are the gotaways.
00:42:10Yeah.
00:42:10Right, the ones that we don't know who they are, where they are.
00:42:12But our intel is pretty good.
00:42:14They're not all gotaways.
00:42:15We released half of them in the U.S. cities.
00:42:18Jesse, I can't help but think that anyone in the Biden administration is really sitting there hoping nothing happens.
00:42:24Not because they care about the lives of Americans, but because they don't want another thing to be blamed for.
00:42:28Yeah, the political blowback would be astronomical.
00:42:32If a sleeper cell activated after this attack on Iran, my God, he already has enough blood on his hands.
00:42:38We don't need any more.
00:42:39But imagine you have a country which is in the axis of evil,
00:42:42and guys are coming over and he's catching and releasing them into the country.
00:42:47These are Sleepy Joe's sleeper cells.
00:42:49I want everybody to know that.
00:42:51And then you also even look back a few years.
00:42:53Obama and Biden gave these guys billions of dollars and they nuked up and fed their proxies weapons.
00:43:01And we're cleaning that up.
00:43:03And then we have to clean up the backdoor scenario in case they want revenge years later.
00:43:07It's crazy.
00:43:08Let's go back to what we were talking about in the last segment.
00:43:10I understand people who have objections to getting involved.
00:43:14It's risky.
00:43:14And there's obviously things you don't know could happen.
00:43:17But if you're worried about escalation, you can't be the same guy that wanted to have F-22 jets shooting down Russian MiGs over Ukraine.
00:43:28You can't be like, oh, let's just sell missiles to the Ukrainians that can target Moscow and not be worried about escalation there.
00:43:36You know, just know what you got to be consistent here.
00:43:38And there's a lot of people who aren't.
00:43:40Harold, inside of this, this idea that sleeper cells exist here, that Iran has already threatened to use them,
00:43:47when we look at some of these pro-Palestinian protests, anti-Israel protests that have broken out,
00:43:52we had the riots in L.A. last week, a lot of controversy over how they were handled, who gets to handle them,
00:43:57does the president get to control the National Guard?
00:43:59Should we as a society accept a license by the government to come in and crack down on these a lot quicker now?
00:44:07Johnny, Joey, I think that the answer to that question is yes.
00:44:10Not only that, I believe we should track people who try to learn how to make a Molotov cocktail like the guy did out there in Denver.
00:44:16I think that we ought to crack down even harsher on people who make threats to politicians because they don't agree with them like the guy in Minnesota did.
00:44:24I think this is a bipartisan thing, regrettably and unfortunately.
00:44:28Even some of the opposition, we didn't raise, you know, you have Tom Mass, Thomas Massey, and Marjorie Taylor Greene raising concerns about this,
00:44:34which I disagree with them like I disagree with AOC.
00:44:37I would imagine, and Joey, you would have a strong perspective on this,
00:44:40I would imagine that the considerations around sleeper cells and domestic terrorism
00:44:44had to be a part of the deliberations in that situation with the president and the team.
00:44:50And I have confidence.
00:44:52I know that when Leon Panetta was at the CIA, that they, as Fran talked about this morning,
00:44:59they had commissions and panels and cooperation and collaboration amongst these various agencies,
00:45:03which they couldn't have before, trying to track what's going on in the United States.
00:45:08As a matter of fact, we have one of the best here in New York City, NYPD's efforts.
00:45:11They have offices around the world tracking people coming in and out
00:45:15and they don't get enough credit for every day preventing some of these things.
00:45:18So I'm hoping and praying that and believing that DHS and the FBI,
00:45:24and for that matter, even some of the other agencies
00:45:27that have not been a part of this over the years
00:45:28are actively a part of trying to ensure
00:45:31that sleeper cell activity is kept to a zero.
00:45:36It's not just sleeper cells.
00:45:37It's the idea of lone wolves, Kaylee.
00:45:39And that's really why Republicans have sounded the alarm
00:45:41over the last year with these pro-Palestinian rallies
00:45:44and some of the things that's shared on TikTok.
00:45:47And then you have certain squad members coming and speaking
00:45:49and saying things that just throw fuel on the fire.
00:45:52I mean, it's one thing if Ron has put somebody here.
00:45:55It's another thing if some crazed idiot gets in their vehicle
00:45:57and drives down one of these streets.
00:45:58Yeah, let me paint a picture for you on the border.
00:46:01You know, President Biden, let's imagine him
00:46:03sitting in the beach chair in Delaware,
00:46:04beachside foreign policy.
00:46:06Someone comes up to him, 2021, Mr. President,
00:46:0848 Iranian nationals tried to cross the border.
00:46:11Next year they come to him in the beach chair.
00:46:12Now it's 197.
00:46:14Next year in the beach chair.
00:46:15Now it's 462.
00:46:16Finally you're in the beach chair.
00:46:18797.
00:46:19That should wake you up
00:46:20that you have gone from 48 Iranian nationals
00:46:23trying to cross to 797.
00:46:26And when Bill Malusian asked how many
00:46:28are on the terror watch list,
00:46:30the Biden administration cited privacy concerns
00:46:32and minimal public interests
00:46:34as to why Bill Malusian could not have that number.
00:46:36You should have been interested in that number.
00:46:38The public deserves that number.
00:46:39These are special interest aliens
00:46:41that get extra vetting when you come from Iran.
00:46:43But the beachside foreign policy got us
00:46:451,500 trying to cross the border.
00:46:47To your point, half of them released
00:46:49into the interior of the United States.
00:46:50I will say one thing.
00:46:51As someone who has read in on some of these programs
00:46:5315 years ago,
00:46:55what our men and women in law enforcement
00:46:56do every single day to keep us safe,
00:46:58to thwart plans that we never hear about
00:47:00without violating our privacy.
00:47:02It's really, it's quite amazing.
00:47:04All right, ahead.
00:47:05Israel continues to pummel targets in Iran.
00:47:07The latest from the ground is next.

00:48:12As you can see, I switched to Pure Talk
00:48:15not long ago from Verizon,
00:48:16partly because I was sick of Verizon,

00:48:20on the nation's most dependable 5G network
00:48:22and save a whole bunch of money,
00:48:24but mostly because of Clint.
00:48:26I wanted to be in business with a wireless company
00:48:29who actually stands for something.
00:48:31And I love what Pure Talk is doing for our vets.

00:51:08Israel and Iran continue to exchange fire
00:51:10with the IDF claiming that they struck access routes
00:51:12to Iran's forward-out nuclear site.
00:51:15Our friend and reporter who's doing an unbelievable job,
00:51:17Trey Yinks, is standing by in Tel Aviv.
00:51:19Trey?
00:51:22Harold, good afternoon.
00:51:23We know the Israelis are continuing tonight
00:51:25their strikes against Iranian targets.
00:51:27They issued an evacuation warning earlier
00:51:30around the capital of Tehran,
00:51:32warning people to get out of the way,
00:51:34understanding that this is going to continue
00:51:36following those strikes earlier today,
00:51:39targeting an American base outside of Doha, Qatar.
00:51:42A little bit in the back and forth leading up to this,
00:51:45this morning an alert went out from the U.S. Embassy in Doha,
00:51:49warning American citizens to shelter in place.
00:51:52Then we saw some GPS jamming,
00:51:54followed by the closure of Qatari airspace.
00:51:56President Trump indicated all of this was coordinated in advance
00:51:59to ensure that after the attack took place,
00:52:02there would be some level of de-escalation across the region.
00:52:05But for the Israelis, they have to remain on high alert.
00:52:08Officials tonight say air defense systems across this country are active.
00:52:12Earlier today, we saw a ballistic missile attack
00:52:15that targeted not only a residential area in the north of Israel,
00:52:18but also went after energy infrastructure in the south.
00:52:21And that's part of the reason the Israelis are going after
00:52:23many of the launching positions inside of Iran
00:52:26to ensure that they can reduce the amount of missiles that can target this country.
00:52:31Because while there is a path for de-escalation between Iran and the United States,
00:52:35there's an understanding that the war between Iran and Israel
00:52:38could last for a number of days ahead, if not weeks.
00:52:42Officials tonight held a meeting in the Israeli security cabinet
00:52:45trying to determine the steps forward.
00:52:47And again, President Trump calling for the entire region
00:52:50to seek some sort of peace arrangement,
00:52:52urging the Iranians to return to the negotiating table.
00:52:55Harris.
00:52:57Trey, again, thank you.
00:52:58You're doing an unbelievable job.
00:53:00One more thing.
00:53:04We're not going to do this.
00:53:05So now we're going to have, we're going to have.

00:58:52We got continuing coverage of Iran.
00:58:558 o'clock.
00:58:56All right, Joey.
00:58:57Yeah, so a lot of you know I just released a book on Tuesday called Behind the Badge.
00:59:01It's a passion project for me.
00:59:03Everyone in this book, somebody I know, including people that are really close to me and in my family.
00:59:07If anything else, just know this, that every single day they go out and do this job, and we live in this country with a sense of entitlement, because if we get in a car wreck or a house burns down or we have a medical emergency, we just believe somebody will be there.
00:59:20These are nine stories of individuals who have made it their career to be there.
00:59:25So you know all of them?
00:59:27I know all of them.
00:59:28And you had a chance to talk to them.
00:59:29Did you know their stories before you interviewed them, or did you learn things that were new?
00:59:33Yes, absolutely.
00:59:35A guy I've known since I was three years old was in there, and I learned a lot about him.
00:59:39And my brother-in-law was in there, best friends.
00:59:42It was really a journey for me.
00:59:44It really was.
00:59:45Well, we love having you here, and congratulations on the book.
00:59:47It's very, very good.
00:59:48And Harold, you're next.
00:59:50Democrats.
00:59:50You got a big head, Harold.
00:59:51Whatever I do, whatever you do, do not defund the police.
00:59:54Thank you for doing this book, but I look forward to reading it.
00:59:56There we go.
00:59:56There we go.
00:59:57Congratulations to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
00:59:59They won their first championship since moving from Seattle in 2008, holding off the Pacers 103-91.
01:00:06Pacers played one heck of a series.
01:00:07They lost another star player, Tyrese Halliburton, in the seventh game.
01:00:11But you can't take anything away from this OKC team.
01:00:15Shea Gillis-Alexander capped off an historic season, becoming the first player since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000 to win the season MVP, scoring champ, and finals MVP.
01:00:24He and this young team showed a lot of grit.
01:00:26Congrats to him.
01:00:26And congrats to the NBA.
01:00:27All right.
01:00:27And Kaylee.
01:00:28Yes, my father-in-law wears hats like this, so this is for you, Paul.
01:00:31All right.
01:00:32The Capybara Cafe.
01:00:34First, there was goat yoga.
01:00:35Then there was the Capybara Cafe.
01:00:37This is in St. Augustine, Florida.
01:00:38I grew up going to St. Augustine.
01:00:40You can feed, cuddle, or pet the world's largest rodents.
01:00:45The owner, Stephanie Angel, opened the cafe.
01:00:47They're awesome.
01:00:48It's to support a good cause.

01:00:53But look, yeah, pet rodents, all you eat.
01:00:55And there are also these Fox News slides.
01:00:58Yeah, you know, you guys took all the hats.
01:01:00Johnny, Joey, John.
01:01:01Put the slides on there.
01:01:03They're real comfortable.
01:01:04They don't hurt your feet at all.
01:01:05Oh, my God.
01:01:05You don't hurt your feet at all.
