Anantnag (J&K) June 24, 2025 (ANI):  Regarding the statement that statehood was not granted to Jammu and Kashmir because of its Muslim population, former J&K Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah said, 'Are we enemies of India? We chose to join India when Pakistan was right in front of us.'
