00:00Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the times
00:09we realized we had more reason to side with Disney's villains than heroes.
00:1310. Anton Ego
00:21Ego's arc isn't really about food. It's about remembering who you were before the world wore you down.
00:2711. Unlike Remy or Linguini, who, let's be honest, just got lucky, Ego's not wide-eyed or naive.
00:47He's been through it, built walls, and buried his younger self under cynicism and control.
00:5212. I don't like food. I love it. If I don't love it, I don't swallow.
01:0313. I will return tomorrow night with high expectations.
01:07But one bite of Ratatouille cracks that shell. Suddenly, he's a kid again,
01:12back in touch with the version of himself that felt joy without judgment.
01:1514. That moment changes everything. It's not just about nostalgia. It's reconnection. And that's
01:33what makes Ego so relatable. He changes not because he learned something new, but because he remembers
01:39something true and authentic. And honestly, so real for it.
01:44I can't remember the last time I asked the waiter to give my compliments to the chef.
01:509. Chernabog
01:52Fantasia
01:53Look, we know he's a giant winged demon, but we get it. Who hasn't wanted to just let everything loose?
02:00Rage, grief, chaos, all of it. No filter, no apology.
02:20While most villains might hide behind some kind of mask, he's not faking anything. He is the dark
02:26cloud. The meltdown. The part of us we keep locked up until it explodes.
02:46And the wildest part is that for all his power, a church bell and a sunrise stop him cold.
02:52That hits us hard. No matter how strong we act, something soft always gets to us.
02:57Chernabog is the monster in the mirror. The one we try to ignore. But he's always there, just waiting.
03:13We already thought Maleficent was relatable for her FOMO-fueled outburst.
03:26I really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation.
03:29You weren't wanted.
03:31Not what? Oh dear, what an awkward situation. I had hoped it was merely due to some oversight.
03:41Then the 2014 version added betrayal, heartbreak, and stolen wings. And while her actions might go
03:47a hairline too far, we can see where she's coming from. Stefan acts out of cruelty and greed,
03:53which forces Maleficent to hide behind her defenses to protect herself from getting hurt again.
03:58But what makes her stand out is that bitterness doesn't totally engulf her. Her connection with
04:20Aurora grows, perhaps against her better judgment. And in the end, she's the one who saves her, not out
04:25of obligation, but love. Underneath all the thorns and fury, she never stopped caring. That's what
04:32makes her feel human.
04:35I was so lost in hatred and revenge. Sweet Aurora, you stole what was left of my heart.
04:47Number 7. Gabby Gabby, Toy Story 4
04:51When you break down Gabby Gabby's motives, it's hard to see her as a villain.
04:56All I want is a chance for just one of those moments. I'd give anything to be loved the way you have.
05:06All she wants is to be loved, but after decades of rejection because of her broken voice box,
05:11she's convinced that fixing it will finally make her worthy. Chasing Woody and Forky around an
05:16antique store to steal his voice box is definitely villainous, but she's not driven by evil.
05:22I just want to talk. Yeah, with my voice box. Still, we're not sure Andy's favorite toy can
05:28truly grasp how it feels to crave the love and attention she's been denied, but we see her.
05:33After all, don't we all want someone who will love us, not because we've changed,
05:37but because they see us for who we are? Are you us too?
05:45I'm Gabby Gabby. Will you be my friend?
05:47I'll help you.
05:496. Edgar Balthazar, The Aristocats
05:53Tell us you wouldn't be mad if after years of loyal service, your boss left everything to her cats.
05:59A mansion, a chateau, stocks, and bonds? For pets?
06:03Cats!
06:04Inherit first, and I come after the cats. I, me, after... No, it's not fair!
06:12What are they going to do? Start a hedge fund? Look, we're not defending Edgar's actions,
06:17but the man snapped, and honestly, that's totally fair. With the cost of living the way it often is,
06:23that inheritance could have meant an actual future.
06:25Rock a bike it is, bye bye you go. La la la la, and I'm in the dough. Oh, Edgar, you sly old fox.
06:37Meanwhile, these cats are living like tiny furry royalty. If we were Edgar, we might have proposed a
06:43compromise. He gets the fortune if he takes care of the cats. If anything suspicious happens to them,
06:48then yeah, he loses everything.
06:50You are going to Timbuktu if it's the last thing I do!
06:585. Captain Hook, Peter Pan
07:00In the original story, we don't get much history of Captain Hook and Peter Pan's relationship,
07:05other than the whole chopping off the hand and feeding it to a crocodile debacle.
07:09My cabin, cutting your hand off was only a childish prank, you might say.
07:14Aye, but throwing it to that crocodile. That cursed beast like the taste of me so well,
07:20he's followed me ever since.
07:22Now that crocodile follows Hook around like an alarm clock with no off button.
07:27Of course he's angry, paranoid, and unraveling. He's a grown man being
07:31terrorized by a flying tween tyrant with no bedtime.
07:35Say you're a codfish.
07:38I'm a codfish.
07:39Louder!
07:41I'M A CODFISH!
07:44Peter is no hero either. He's a full-scale brat who throws tantrums when things don't go his way.
07:49Meanwhile, Hook is basically what happens when you're tired,
07:52downtrodden, and hanging on by a thread while dreaming of a nap, a glass of wine, or five minutes of peace.
08:01A codfish on a hook.
08:03I'll get you for this, man, if it's the last thing I do.
08:08Number 4.
08:09Yzma, The Emperor's New Groove
08:12Another loyal employee tossed aside after years of service, Yzma deserved better.
08:17You're being let go, your department's being downsized, you're part of an outplacement.
08:21We're going in a different direction, we're not picking up your option, take your pick.
08:24I got more.
08:25Sure, she might have overstepped once or twice, but since when was ambition a crime?
08:30Meanwhile, Cuzco was born into privilege and rules for one person, himself.
08:35He literally has a theme song guy.
08:37He's the hippest cat in creation, he's the alpha, the omega, A to Z.
08:43Yzma's been holding things together behind the scenes, only to get fired by the young emperor,
08:48whose biggest concern is pool placement.
08:50She's overlooked, age-shamed, and stuck under a career ceiling because her boss is a clueless man-child.
08:57Now, about you finding new work, that's, that's gonna be tough.
09:01More broccoli?
09:02Because you're, I don't know, let's face it, you're no spring chicken.
09:06And I mean that in the best possible way.
09:11What? A llama? He's supposed to be dead!
09:14Sure, maybe the assassination plot was a bit much, but Cuzco got off easy with a short stint as a llama,
09:21all things considered. Yzma is basically corporate burnout in a snazzy purple ensemble.
09:26Just think of it as, you're being let go, that your life's going in a different direction,
09:32that your body's part of a permanent out-placement.
09:36Hey, that's kinda like what he said to you when you got fired.
09:39I know, it's called a cruel irony, like my dependence on you.
09:43Number three, Syndrome slash Buddy, The Incredibles.
09:48You know how they say, don't meet your heroes? Well, this is why.
09:52This is because I don't have powers, isn't it?
09:54Well, not every superhero has powers, you know?
09:57You can be super without them.
09:58I invented these. I can fly. Can you fly?
10:02Fly home, Buddy. I work alone.
10:05But it's not the only reason this Pixar villain resonates with us.
10:08The Supers are born with powers, but Buddy, now Syndrome, has to work for his.
10:13He builds his own path to success with tech, wealth, influence, and yes, an evil island lair.
10:20That's the way it works. Turns out there are a lot of people, whole countries,
10:23who want respect, and they will pay through the nose to get it.
10:27How do you think I got rich? I invented weapons, and now I have a weapon that only I can defeat.
10:32Yet, underneath the cape and gadgets, he's just a kid who got rejected, and it's stung.
10:37His whole philosophy comes from that bruised ego and buried pain.
10:42It's twisted, sure, but it's a response to gatekeeping and exclusion.
10:46He's basically saying, if the elite won't let me in, I'll tear down the pedestal.
10:50If that isn't relatable, what is?
10:53I'll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes.
10:56Everyone can be super. And when everyone's super, no one will be.
11:062. Queen of Hearts – Alice in Wonderland
11:09It's admirable how Alice remains curious and carefree no matter what Wonderland throws at her.
11:15But if we're being honest, most of us are more like the Queen of Hearts.
11:18Who dares to paint with vulgar paint, the royal flower bed?
11:24For painting my roses red, someone will lose his head!
11:29She rules over so much madness, constantly trying to assert control over unruly characters.
11:35When things don't go her way, she reacts with rage, which is unbelievably real of her.
11:40Where do you come, come? And where are you going?
11:43Well, I'm trying to find my way home.
11:46Your way! Always here are my ways!
11:50Plus, her paranoia about people undermining her position is basically the equivalent of trying to silence imposter syndrome.
11:57Like Chernabog, she's the side of us we keep hidden until it's safe to scream into the void.
12:02She's the relatable rage we try to contain, but it sneaks out when we're pushed too far.
12:07Someone's head will roll for this!
12:10You're!
12:14Before we continue, be sure to subscribe to our channel and ring the bell to get notified about our latest videos.
12:20You have the option to be notified for occasional videos or all of them.
12:24If you're on your phone, make sure you go into your settings and switch on notifications.
12:281. Hades, Hercules
12:33Alright, listen up. It's hard to relate to gods and demigods with their lofty goals of getting back to Mount Olympus.
12:40Hercules might be the hero, but Hades is also just trying to find a place where he belongs.
12:45And it sure as heck isn't the underworld.
12:47How are things in the underworld?
12:49Well, they're just fine. You know, a little dark, a little gloomy, and as always, hey, full of dead people. What are you gonna do?
12:55Zeus dumped in there while everyone else parties upstairs. It's like being stuck in a dead-end job doing all the grunt work while others get the glory. Who wouldn't want something better?
13:05Then the once proud Zeus will finally fall. And you, Hades, will rule all!
13:15Yes, a Hades will!
13:19So, yeah, when some kid threatens everything, of course he's got to take the reins.
13:23Villainy aside, he's just a guy trying to make his life a little better.
13:27Honestly, isn't that more relatable?
13:31You give up your strength for about 24 hours. Okay, say the next 24 hours.
13:36Okay, here it is for you as a bird and safe from harm. We dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on, we go home happy. What do you say? Come on.
13:42Which Disney movie made you realize you might be better suited to be a villain than a hero?
13:46Let us know in the comments.
13:48This is kind of important.
13:50How about dessert?
13:52Well, I suppose there's time for dessert.
13:57I yes, it seems whether you're a boy who's there, probably.
14:02I think it's fantastic.
14:04Ok, he says spend quite 4 and a half time корr.
14:05Alright.
14:06Yeah, I have been molto careful.
14:07Oh, no problem.
14:07He has cheered.
14:08Alright.
14:09Kinda bulldoob.
14:10Aімric Nap nit Bullet Blood Pro map.
14:11Gabriel?.
14:12I think your own stupid ?
14:13I do notesse.
14:14I mean that.
14:15I'm really fucking hungryharious.
14:16I know.
14:17I don't know.
14:17I did.
14:18It?
14:18I think your own stupid hand.
14:19No solution.
14:20I've been souka.
14:22I think that was a good story.
14:23All of you guys, challenges.
14:24I've been to kind of a project.
14:25What did you say?
14:26I think that we need you?
