00:00I may want to try to explain myself before I mention what THX is, if that's fine with you guys.

00:08I work at Walt Disney World, but not as one of the mascot characters, or security guards,

00:14more or less the guy who will be there helping out fixing out some of the broken parts in say,

00:18an attraction or something on the lines with the Disney magic.

00:21Heck, I even checked out Discovery Island in my spare time with a few of my friends who also work at the parks.

00:27But that is for another time, I'm pretty sure y'all heard about the hashtag Deep Note Challenge or something with THX Sound Tests.

00:35If you easily forget about it, don't worry, a lot of people do at times.

00:39THX is a sound company, normally in charge of sound systems or sounds you hear in movies and whatnot.

00:45The easy way to find out about the THX brand is to find one of those nearby classic kids films on DVD and look at the back of the box.

00:53You'll see the words, THX, somewhere in the corners of the box.

00:57Normally they are on the front of the box as well, once again in the corner of the box.

01:02Why did I mention this company?

01:03Are they evil or something?

01:05No, but I would like to tell you a story about those sound tests you'll see before you watch the actual movie.

01:11They have these sound tests and they are nothing more than little videos,

01:15just telling you that the sound on the movie this was helped out by THX and whatnot.

01:19Sometimes they'll even have these little animations with them, normally with characters like Trek and Homer Simpson,

01:25and even their own robot mascot named, Tex.

01:28I couldn't find the video, I think it's lost in time or something,

01:32but I made an edit on what the logo kind of looked like in the video.

01:35I actually remember seeing the video, but I think it's long long gone, so no hope of finding it.

01:41So?

01:42What's the video about?

01:44Well, if you watched the sound tests, then you know the typical intro before the actual logo starts up.

01:50They'll mention something about how theaters and homes use the sound system a lot and whatnot,

01:54but this time it didn't really turn into the THX logo just yet.

01:57This one looked like the digitally mastered one, which is the one that starts out with the blue box on the outside.

02:04That same blue box turned red.

02:06Not like blood red or horror red, just, a pastel red.

02:09The text on the screen changed into something different.

02:12It stated this on screen.

02:14However, we have also been working on tests on the ears,

02:17and would like to mention the person who is watching this.

02:20The text faded, and then another group of text appeared on screen as the typical Deep Note intro played.

02:25This test will not make you fail, nor win.

02:28You'll forget about the test and started to focus on what you have done,

02:32and why you have done these terrible events.

02:34Maybe to a loved one, maybe to someone that we don't know.

02:37But all we know is that what you did will not be allowed under any short of the Disney brand,

02:42let alone any brand you'll be into with many theme parks around the world.

02:46Things aren't so happy after all, aren't they?

02:49The Deep Note grew louder than you would ever expect,

02:51and would've hurt your ears, making them ring.

02:53We know what you did, and you cannot change that, ever.

02:57The pitch grew louder, and louder, and louder,

03:00until you can start screaming about how much it can hurt you.

03:03Yet, it did not break the glass you'll be put in.

03:06We are always watching.

03:08Everybody is watching you feel this way,

03:10and we are deeply sorry for that.

03:12But things must be the way they are.

03:14The note will start to make you feel uneasy, yet scared.

03:17It's like it makes your mind feel like you're getting beaten up or something worse.

03:21Oh, and one more thing.

03:23The sound has cut off, like a snap, and now you can only see the red square.

03:27The text then appeared.

03:29The audience is listening.

03:31The Deep Note has reached its loudest point,

03:33it's like the end of the THX iconic Deep Note,

03:36but way, way, way, louder than it was before.

03:39This made you lose your eardrums and now will leave you with marks around your ears

03:43as you fade into your knockout.

03:45The last thing you see is the THX logo,

03:48and you can see a little bit of green around it before the video ended.

03:51So, what was this video used for?

03:54Remember when I mentioned the security at Disney?

03:57Someone tested this clip to a few people who have broken the laws over at Disney World.

04:01The sound would change back into the normal THX Deep Note because, weirdly,

04:05the video aged.

04:07And it has not aged pretty.

04:09You see those rotting rusts of metal?

04:11Yeah, that's what the tapes outside was made out of.

04:14This affected the tape pretty badly, and Disney decided to scrap it.

04:18As for the moment, I do not know where the video is now,

04:21but a lot of people have told me that it's most likely in the trash,

04:24while others say that it's now used as a prop

04:26and the footage for the tape has been destroyed

04:28like the day after I watched it with a few co-workers of mine.

04:31I didn't want to mention that it's the beginning of this post,

04:35because of how stupid it would have been

04:36and that I didn't want people to say that it's pretty stupid

04:39at where you watched it and who you watched it with.

04:41Speaking of that, where did I watch it at?

04:44At the Matterhorn Mountain, where the indoor gym is.

04:47I couldn't be able to watch it at Discovery because, look at it,

04:50it's basically an abandoned set now than a pirate slash animal themed island.

04:54Oh, and one last question before I leave this post off.

04:57You guys ever got scared by something little as a logo?
