00:00The UK recorded the hottest day of the year so far on Saturday, with parts of the country reaching a scorching 34 degrees.
00:08Yeah, I know, it was blimmin' hot. Too hot for me, anyway.
00:11But it wasn't good news for everyone, of course.
00:14A Just Eat rider became a hero on social media after we threw a food delivery up to the train stranded on the tracks.
00:21Now, is he a hero for doing this?
00:25Oh, yeah, I think he's a legend.
00:26He's a legend in the making.
00:28Yeah, I mean, he saw people that were clearly hot and bothered.
00:34The train, I think, was stuck because it got too hot and nothing worked in this country.
00:38So, absolutely, fantastic.
00:39Okay, so it wasn't a paying customer's delivery that he was shucking up there.
00:45Oh, I don't know.
00:46That was your burrito that was on the way.
00:48Well, I think it's bottles of water.
00:50Yeah, so he must have just found them and just decided to, well, bought them and decided to help out.
00:55Unless, unless some enterprising person on the train ordered it to the train, in which case, also legend.
01:00Oh, yes.
01:01Well, that may well be the case.
01:02That would make more sense, wouldn't it?
01:04Than some random Just Eat driver thinking he'll throw some bottled water up to the train.
01:08Yeah.
01:08Yes, perhaps it was ordered.
01:09Perhaps it was ordered.
01:10Either way, it's a nice little picture of modern Britain.
01:14Absolutely.
01:14The graffiti there to match.
01:17But yes, apparently it was an absolute nightmare.
01:18Trains from London to Brighton, I think, stopped and people had to get out of the trains and walk down the tracks, I think.
01:24Oh, God, that's not what you were.
01:25So let us know if you were involved in all of that drama.
01:27I have to say, I chose the hottest day of the year so far to go for a lovely little run, which perhaps was not the best day of the year to do it.
01:35But, you know, got to stay healthy.
01:38I went to a nail salon and they had to bring out a special fan just for me and mopped my brow for me.
01:44When you say a special fan, it was just someone wanting your autograph?
01:47Oh, well, you know, that happens every time I go to the nail salon, obviously.
01:50But no, this was one of those fans that bring you cold air.
01:54Marvelous.
01:54So that was rather nice.
01:56Anyway, that's enough of me.
