00:11aimed at treating the cause of Alzheimer's rather than just the symptoms.
00:15It was used on an 83-year-old female patient in New Taipei.
00:20Kitsanla was approved by the government earlier this year.
00:23There are around 350,000 people living with dementia in Taiwan,
00:27and estimated two-thirds of them have Alzheimer's disease.
