00:00You think you'd have been better off had you cracked the J and been in an IIT. Let me tell you, it's no different with IITians.

00:07Somebody is not happy with his CGPA, somebody is not happy with his department, somebody not happy with departmental rank,

00:12somebody not happy with summer internship, somebody not happy with the choice of courses, somebody not happy with the final placement.

00:18There is nobody who is satisfied and that is okay. That's what makes us human. I'm not complaining.

00:23I'm not saying one should be easily satisfied. On the contrary, I'm saying that it is this lack of satisfaction.

00:30That is the very mark of humanness. This lack of satisfaction means we are looking for something yet higher.

00:35So once you are in IIT, it no more appears a big deal. You want something higher.

00:40And it's not just in terms of money or social sanction. There's something more to it.

00:44This campus could not give me that. So then comes the next thing. Then comes the next thing.

00:47And it's not at all a coincidence that finally the thing that I could find is Vedan because I was looking for the highest.
