A newly surfaced video shows the moment an Iranian missile struck a power station in Ashdod, Israel. The attack caused significant damage, severely reducing the station's operational capacity.

00:18Now, the power outage in southern Israel has been witnessed after the station was completely

00:24reduced to rubble.

00:25These are the visuals we bring to you from Ashdod.

00:28There is another particular visual that's come in at this point after being hit by an Iranian

00:36missile.

00:37This is what the condition of the power station in Ashdod is.

00:42And this is from the very crash site near Ashdod that the visuals show you of the Iranian missile

00:47hitting this power station.

00:49And then moments later, all that we see is rubble and ruin.

00:53Israel Electric Company says that the power outage in parts of South due to damage near

00:59an infrastructure facility from the Iranian missile.

01:02That's what's been reported so far.

01:04And this is the current condition from the very missile attack.

01:09Remember, U.S. already struck Iran.

01:13Three of their nuclear sites have been struck on June 22nd.

01:17But on June 23rd, it's not like the escalations have stopped.

01:22They've continued with both sides consistently bombing cities.

01:27And now, in the recent developments, in the latest turn of events, we see another Iranian missile

01:32coming in and striking a power station near Ashdod, which has led to a massive power outrage

01:40in southern Israel, is what we understand.

01:43This, viewers, is the very moment that has been captured on camera when the Iranian missile

01:51hit the power station near Ashdod.

01:53Iran has consistently kept that.

02:17We have seen a barrage of missiles coming in from both sides.

02:21Be it all the main cities in Israel or those in Iran, be it Tel Aviv, be it Tehran.

02:52One of the major developments that the entire world was focused on yesterday was U.S.

03:00directly entering this escalation, this conflict and bombing three of the nuclear sites in Iran.

03:05And post that, we have seen Iran also retaliate within Israeli boundaries itself, bombing several

03:13places.

03:13Right now, let me cut across to Shivani Sharma, who is joining us live.

03:20At this point, do help us understand.

03:22We hear of this Iranian missile hitting this very power station near Ashdod.

03:28What we understand is that there's a massive power outage in southern Israel from this very

03:34hit.

03:35Take us through the details, please.

03:39See, I'm right now present at this stop where Port of the Land is the final hit the major

03:44power station in Ashdod, which happens to be the southern port city in Israel.

03:48This is one of the major blows, major attacks, the biggest attacks so far.

03:52And the duration of the sirens was also the longest.

03:55That means the air raids were going on a high intensity.

04:02So this is how this is happening here in Ashdod.

04:05And where you can see that the restoration work is still going on here in Ashdod.

04:11And what we are being told that the power outage is there in this whole area because of this

04:16hit.

04:16This was an intense hit by this hypersonic missile from Iran's side.

04:20And what we are being told that there were multiple attacks, there were multiple missiles

04:25that were launched in Ashdod in Israel.

04:28And this is how now the Israeli forces are trying to clear this whole area, clear this

04:34whole location.

04:36And they are neutralizing the threat and sanitizing the whole location out here, Anjali.

04:41So this happens to be the escalation of this war with multiple intense attacks coming

04:46to work with Iran.

04:48Right, Shivani.

04:49Shivani, also help us understand on a larger picture the developments that have been taking

04:54place between Israel and Iran.

04:56We have seen Iran has also kept its word, I would say, at this given point of how it's

05:02promised that the entire U.S. attack will not stop them from retaliating and that the

05:08world will continue to see them not just retaliating to the Israeli attacks, but also the fact

05:14that it's not even 30% of their weaponry that they've used.

05:17And we see that they have actually followed through what they've said post the U.S. striking

05:22their three nuclear sites.

05:26So, yes, certainly Iran is actually trying to show that it is now in a very retaliatory

05:33mode.

05:34It is not going to, it is not going to bow down.

05:37It is not going to de-escalate.

05:38So this is the picture right now here in this whole area.

05:41So we need to clear this area right now.

06:15a big attack that's taken place from the Iranian side.

06:18A power station having been hit, whose consequences have been felt across southern Israel, taking

06:26away their entire power supply at this point.

06:29There's a massive power outage there.

06:30Absolutely, a major power outage is being reported from Ashdod City.

06:35If you see the geographical location of Ashdod, Ashdod is the coastal city of Israel.

06:41And alongside the port of Ashdod, there is also a naval base of Israeli naval navy there

06:47in Ashdod.

06:48So, clearly, a fresh salvo fired by the Iran on targeting the various locations of Israel

06:55clearly shows that the Iranian might and Iranian strength has not been decimated as yet.

07:01And that's why Iran is able to fire these missiles targeting various locations of Israel.

07:06And Iran is continuously firing.

07:09In the last 12 hours, if you see, there is an escalation because Israel has carried out

07:14airstrike targeting various locations in Iran, including the Imam Hussain military base, Imam

07:20Hussain missile storage facility, which was there in Yazd.

07:24And IRGC has confirmed that 10 of its personnel have lost their life in that attack.

07:29And along with that, around six cities, Khairman Shah, Tehran and Tabriz, these all cities,

07:35and Sahed, these all cities have been targeted by Israel in the airstrike.

07:40And after that, there is a fresh salvo of missile attack, especially the ballistic missiles are

07:45being fired by Iran, targeting various locations in Israel.

07:49Similar footage and similar visuals are also coming up, Shreya, from Netanyahu and other

07:55places as well in Israel.

07:57So, this clearly shows that the Iran is deliberately targeting various locations, the strategic location,

08:03as well as the economic activity hubs of Israel and disrupting the major issues of Israel.

08:14And clearly, the prominent locations of Israel are being targeted by the Iranian Air Force.
