00:00Charlie!
00:10Lola?
00:13Charlie!
00:30Lola!
00:45Charlie and Lola!
00:50Charlie and Lola!
00:55I am not sleepy and I will not go to bed.
01:08I have this little sister Lola.
01:14She is small.
01:17And very funny.
01:21Sometimes, when she's extra wide awake, Mum and Dad ask me to help get Lola off to bed.
01:31This is a hard job because...
01:33Shall I show you that again, Charlie?
01:35Because Lola likes to stay up late.
01:38Lola likes to stay up wriggling, bouncing, colouring in, scribbling, sticking, and most of all, shattering.
01:56And then, when I show all my animals, we can go to beach.
02:00And Mum can make a picnic.
02:01And Dad can get ice cream.
02:03And you, Charlie, you can help me make an enormous sand cup.
02:08Lola, Mum said it's time for bed now.
02:11No, I am not sleepy and I will not go to bed.
02:15So then I say...
02:18But Lola, all the birds have gone to sleep.
02:22And then Lola says...
02:24Yes, but I am not a bird, Charlie.
02:27But you must be slightly sleepy, Lola.
02:30I am not slightly sleepy at six o'clock.
02:33Or seven o'clock.
02:35Or eight o'clock.
02:37I am still wide awake at nine.
02:39Not at all tired at ten.
02:42Or eleven.
02:44And...
02:45I will still be awake at...
02:48Midnight.
02:53Surely you'll be tired by midnight.
02:55Everyone in the world is tired by midnight, Lola.
03:00Not me.
03:01I will probably still be perky.
03:04Even at midnight and a half.
03:07Lola says she never gets tired.
03:16Bedtime.
03:17It's not bedtime.
03:19I have to put Mr. Tiger in his home.
03:22And then Mrs. Tiger has to go shopping.
03:25Buy some biscuits and cake and crisps.
03:28So then I had an idea.
03:30For everyone to eat.
03:31And I said...
03:33But if there's no bedtime, there can be no bedtime drink.
03:37And it's pink milk tonight.
03:40Lola really likes pink milk.
03:44Are you sure you don't want to go to bed?
03:47But Charlie, if I have pink milk, the tigers will want some too.
03:56Tigers?
03:57What tigers?
03:58The tigers at the table, Charlie.
04:01They're waiting for their bedtime drink.
04:03Tigers get very cross if they have to wait.
04:06Ready, steady, go.
04:15So I make Lola and three tigers pink milk.
04:22After bedtime drink, you know what's next.
04:25Time to brush our teeth.
04:27Um, but I can't brush my teeth, Charlie.
04:31Because somebody is eating my toothbrush.
04:34Who would eat your toothbrush, Lola?
04:36I think it's that lion.
04:38I saw him brushing his teeth with my toothbrush.
04:43And now he's gobbling it all up.
04:47But this is your toothbrush here.
04:49Oh dear.
04:50That means he must be using yours then.
04:52He he he!
05:06Ooh!
05:08Ooh!
05:09Right, just a quick bath and then bedtime.
05:34Well, you do look a bit grubby, Lola.
05:36Who says?
05:38Mum says.
05:39No, she doesn't.
05:40Yes, she does.
05:41She's run a bath with you and she's coming to check in one minute.
05:46And then what do you think Lola says?
05:49But Charlie, I can't go in the bath because of the whales.
05:54What whales? Where?
05:56The whales who are swimming in the bath.
05:58They're taking up all of the room.
06:02So I say.
06:04Well, what do you want me to do about it?
06:07Maybe you'd have to help me to shoo a few down the plug hole.
06:11Shoo!
06:12Shoo, shoo, shoo!
06:14So I help shoo some whales down the plug hole.
06:20Shoo, shoo, shoo.
06:21Shoo!
06:21Shoo, shoo!
06:22Shoo!
06:29Shoo!
06:29Shoo!
06:30Let's go.
07:00So Lola jumps into the bath.
07:10Now you're all clean, Lola, it really is time for bed.
07:15Where are your pyjamas?
07:16I don't have any pyjamas, Charlie.
07:20Aha! What about these ones I found under your pillow?
07:25Oh, no, those are not my pyjamas.
07:28Those belong to two dancing dogs.
07:32All right. Well, do you think they'd let you borrow them?
07:36Maybe.
07:38But you would have to go and telephone them.
07:42So I go off to telephone the two dancing dogs.
07:48What are they saying?
07:52The dogs say that the pyjamas would look better on you.
07:57That's nice of them.
07:58Mm-hmm.
07:59And if you're wearing your pyjamas tonight, they'd like to invite you to their pyjama party.
08:05Yay!
08:05Well, as it's a party.
08:15So Lola pops on her pyjamas.
08:18In a minute.
08:20Ow!
08:21No!
08:22No!
08:22You!
08:23He's not the socialistist.
08:27Oh!
08:33He's stay.
08:34He's done, sweetheart.
08:36He's done.
08:36He's done.
08:36He's done.
08:37He's done.
08:38He's done.
08:38dismiss.
08:39Oh?
08:39Yeah, he's done.
08:40Huh?
08:40They're like...
08:41He's doing so.
08:41Hey, man.
08:42He's done.
08:42He's done.
08:43The moody's.
08:44Almost there.
08:45Oh, man.
08:45He wants it.
08:46That was fun.
08:52Now will you please hop into bed?
08:55Yes, yes, Charlie. I'm hopping.
08:58I'm hopping. I'm hopping, hopping.
09:01Lola, now. Dad will be up any minute.
09:04But I'm not sleepy, Charlie.
09:10And then I had a really good idea.
09:14Lola, I've given three tigers their bedtime drink.
09:18And now they're sleepily snoozing.
09:22And I've watched a lion gobble my toothbrush.
09:26And now he's zizzling on the bath mat.
09:31And I've chewed whales down the plug hole.
09:34And now they are all woozy and woozy.
09:37And Lola, even the dancing dogs pooped after their pyjama party.
09:54And you know what?
09:56I can't believe my eyes, because Lola's gone all sleepy.
10:09But Charlie...
10:13Don't tell me, Lola. I bet I can guess.
10:17There's a huge hippopotamus in your bed.
10:20Don't be silly, Charlie.
10:24I wouldn't let a hippopotamus get into my bed.
10:32But I think there's one in yours.
10:37Oh, Lola.
10:38Good night, Charlie.
10:40Good night, Lola.
