00:00There is a mysterious well in the Jagannatha temple which fills by itself just once in a year.
00:09In this episode of Mysteries of Jagannatha Temple, we shall tell you about a mysterious well
00:16which fills by itself with water only once in a year. Every year on the Jaishta Purnima day,
00:23Lord Jagannatha takes a public bath along with Balarama and Subhadra. They are bathed
00:29with 1008 kalashas and these kalashas are filled with water from the Swarana Koopa which is located
00:37on the northern gate of the Jagannatha temple. The whole year this Swarana Koopa is dried not even
00:45a single drop of water. However, mysteriously just a day before the Jaishta Purnima, the well is filled
00:54by itself up to the rim. The water is used for the Abhisheka of their Lord Shins and after the
01:01Jaishta Purnima, the well gets dry not even a single drop of water. How and when the water comes to the
01:12well and goes out of the well nobody knows. This well does not have any water inlet or outlet inside it.
01:22The devotees of Lord Jagannatha believe that the water in this well comes directly from the Vaikuntha Loka
01:30from the Viraja river. Share this video with your friends and share the glories of Bharat.
