00:00When we arrived, the pony was in quite a horrific state.

00:10He was lame limping from this wire that was wrapped around his legs,

00:14and we knew we had to do something very quickly.

00:18He was with his family. They've never been touched before.

00:22Running around so much, we were worried that he was going to do more damage.

00:32We came back with a pen that night.

00:39But this was one of those examples where we had to have a dartsman to come and dart him for us.

00:52We assisted the vet. He was able to have a look at the injury and remove the wire.

01:02When we got him back home and he started to come around from the anaesthetic,

01:06then we encouraged him to come around on his own.
