00:00Here is how I signed with my new modeling agency in LA in Miami. I always get so many questions
00:07how I signed with my agency, how the process is, what the process is like, so I wanted to share
00:12how I signed recently, literally within the last couple weeks. I am now currently signed with the
00:17industry model management here in LA and in Miami, which I am so so so excited for. Now I did make a
00:24video two years ago talking about how I first signed with my previous agency when I had the
00:29experience at all, so this video is going to be a little different because signing now with my new
00:34agency, I did have experience coming from my previous agency. At the end of the day, the process
00:39was still pretty similar for me. I did it all on my own. I applied all by myself. I was really taking
00:45the risk. First step, I literally applied to probably 10 to 15 agencies, either agencies that my friends
00:51recommended, agencies that I've heard about. I've seen online. I did some research, literally just
00:55googled like modeling agencies in LA. I looked around on Instagram, but I really wanted to focus
01:01on doing research for myself and seeing what agencies I was interested in that I think would
01:05fit me, that I think would want to sign me and work with me. But everyone has a different experience
01:09at every agency they're with. Every agency is a different fit for everyone, so it's so so so important
01:14to do your own research. I 100% recommend that. I had a good set of digitals and I just used those to
01:19apply to agencies. All the agencies I applied to were online. And again, especially with digitals,
01:24I also made another video talking about those. They do not need to be anything professional,
01:28anything crazy. You should not be paying to get your digitals done. You can literally go in front
01:33of a plain white wall, have good natural lighting, and take those on your iPhone. They want to see
01:38how you look naturally, little to no makeup, very simple, tight-fitting clothing. It really does not
01:43have to be anything elaborate or anything crazy, I promise you. And then after I applied to those
01:48agencies, I gave them all my measurements, submitted my digitals. I'm now currently living in LA full-time,
01:53so I think that also helped. After I submitted those, I waited to hear back. I heard back from
01:57the industry within a week, and then I scheduled a meeting with them. So I went in, I took some more
02:02digitals with them in person, in their office. I had a meeting with the agents, and I was able to sign
02:07with the industry in LA and Miami. So I feel like I'm still learning with them and learning the industry
02:12myself. I talked about a lot on TikTok just how crazy, unpredictable the modeling world can be.
02:18It is so big, and it is so open. There's room for everybody in this industry, just like any other job.
02:23Being signed doesn't mean you're going to be working every day, straight out the gate, right off the bat.
02:28It does take time to develop as a model, if you're signed or if you're not. I also get so many questions,
02:33people asking me, do you think I can be signed? What does it take to get signed? Or do I get signed?
02:38And honestly, this is my biggest advice, is to just go for it. Take your digitals, submit to agencies online,
02:43and keep pushing it. I always, always, always say social media is truly such a helpful tool to use
02:49to get signed or to get into modeling. I don't care if you have a hundred followers,
02:53I don't care if you have a thousand followers, I don't care if you have 50,000 followers,
02:56you need to be posting like you are a model. As long as you are active on your socials, posting yourself,
03:01getting your personality out there, agencies want to see that and want to sign models with that attitude.
03:05It's never too late to start modeling, you're never behind, the industry is constantly growing.
03:10I took the risk two and a half years ago to start modeling, and here I am still pursuing it
03:14with a fresh new agency, so, so, so excited. It's never too late to start over,
03:18it's never too late to reinvent yourself, and if you want it, you should go for it, because why not?
03:22Bye guys!
