00:05but your plants will need protecting. Here are some ways to keep your garden happy and healthy.
00:11Spot threats early by monitoring plants for unusual signs, like leaves that are the wrong
00:16color or that have splotches and holes, as well as stems with new or unexpected growths and bumps.
00:22These could be signs of insect damage, weeds, or even disease. Next, clear out any weeds and
00:29insect ravaged plants you find because they're competing with your healthy plants for access to
00:34water, sunlight, and soil nutrition. You may need to use a pesticide to keep your healthy plants protected.
00:40Any pesticides available for homeowners and stores have been approved by Health Canada for residential
