00:00Okay, so just looking at the situation in Iran and the tensions with Israel and working out what the United States does about all of this,
00:10because, you know, this is not even a week-old issue. It's only six days old.
00:16President Trump faces this dilemma. He campaigned on a platform. There will be no more forever wars.
00:21We won't drag America into any more conflicts overseas.
00:24How does he proceed without incurring the wrath of his America First MAGA base and, you know, really dividing the GOP?
00:37Well, I don't think the GOP is divided on us.
00:39I mean, if you look at the most recent polls, in fact, 80 percent of Americans don't want to see Iran have nuclear capabilities.
00:46Now, that's a different question than an invasion and an all-out military campaign.
00:52But Americans don't – they don't want Iran to have nuclear capabilities.
00:59And that's what President Trump has been trying to do.
01:01He gave them 60 days. He's mentioned that often.
01:04I gave them 60 days. They didn't do anything about it. Here we are now.
01:09So I think that President Trump will continue on his message of, you know, ceasefire, wanting to see that negotiations could happen.
01:19Where I think you see a differing in the party is, you know, the neocons versus the isolationists.
01:26And so you have people like, for example, Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, ran for president, certainly a supporter of President Trump, saying we need to invade.
01:36We need to get involved.
01:37That's the only way.
01:39There's no need to negotiate.
01:41There's no need for trying to make this work.
01:44Biden couldn't make it work.
01:45No one can make it work with them.
01:48These are people who are cruel, evil.
01:51There's a dictatorship there that will continue to pursue its nuclear ambitions regardless of what they've signed.
01:58In other words, we can't believe them.
02:00President Trump, I believe, wants to believe that there is hope and there is an opportunity to maybe sit down and come up with a solution to negotiate.
02:12And so now you've been hearing today that, you know, there's a possibility that you'll have representatives from Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran, visit the White House, possibly.
02:24You're hearing conflicting things, but underground you're hearing a lot of interesting divide between the Iranian leaders on negotiating with President Trump in the White House.
02:38I believe that is President Trump's ambition is to do that.
