Ariel Kelman, the president and CMO at Salesforce, talks about AI agents and how they can support marketing and sales teams.

00:00We're constantly, like most CMOs, being asked to do more with less every year or do more with the same amount of money.
00:06This is why at Salesforce we are so excited about delivering agent force, our AI agent technology, to marketers.
00:18And ultimately we think the promise of AI agents for marketing is to make every marketing engagement a two-way conversation.
00:25And a conversation that really replicates what our best salespeople, what our best employees would do if they were face-to-face with a customer.
00:34We think with AI agents, you can now do that with digital marketing.
00:37And that's what we're trying to help people with.
00:38To help them with everything from campaign creation, to lead qualification, to making websites more dynamic.
00:45Most marketing organizations were asked to produce leads for our salespeople.
00:49And like most CMOs, sometimes I get frustrated when our salespeople don't follow up on our leads.
00:54As much as I'd want to take a baseball bat to the marketing, to the sales team, instead we can use AI agents to actually make their lives easier and get them to be able to follow up easier.
01:04And so we have automated lead qualification where we can have our leads first go to an AI agent that will engage them with multiple conversations to answer their questions while we're rescoring them.
01:17So that we can route less, but higher quality leads to our salespeople.
01:23We're happier because there's more follow-up and our salespeople are happier because they're getting higher quality leads.
01:29And ultimately, we're able to measure a 40% reduction in the amount of time it takes our salespeople to follow up on leads.
