In a major escalation, Israel’s military confirmed it struck Iran’s Arak (Khondab) nuclear facility and a weapons site near Natanz overnight on June 19. The IDF claims it hit the reactor’s core seal, a vital component in plutonium production. This marks a bold offensive in the ongoing Israel–Iran conflict, with deep implications for regional stability.

00:00The Air Force continues to attack and deepen the damage to all components as we defined in the war goals.
00:05We hit nuclear sites in Boucher, Isfahan, and Natanz, and we will continue to hit other facilities.
00:11We are hitting repeated hits, assessing the situation, continuing to hit and deepen the damage.
00:16Our fighter jets attacked the nuclear reactor in the Arak region of Iran.
00:20As you can see in the simulation, this is a reactor that is not an active infrastructure,
00:25but has the potential to allow the Iranian regime the ability to produce enriched plutonium used to create a nuclear weapon core.
00:32You can see the reactor structure, including the structure we attacked last night.
00:37We acted to prevent the Iranian regime from using the reactor and advancing the path to creating nuclear weapons.
00:42This is our duty.
