00:00We're going to bring up right now the Boston Red Sox and the Seattle Mariners.
00:02Three to one yesterday.
00:03That stayed under and continues to do so.
00:05So let me ask you this, because I like to do now, Joe,
00:08taking advantage of some alternate team totals, which means, hey, look,
00:11the Yankees are five and a half last night, whatever it is.
00:13Well, let me get them down to two and a half and parlay them with some other
00:16chances to sort of lower those numbers.
00:18Now, granted, again, the Yankees only got two runs.
00:21But do you watch anything from Major League Baseball and feel like, you know,
00:24Andrew McCutcheon putting out that statement, like the seams are higher,
00:26baseball knows about it, they can't do anything about it this year.
00:29Like, does that play into, like,
00:30we should just be shifting to looking at unders because the overs are
00:34inflated and the baseballs aren't holding up and being conducive to overs?
00:40Well, I mean, the problem is here we are in the middle of June.
00:43Weather has shifted.
00:45Humidity is up.
00:46We know the ball travels in a number of these ballparks.
00:49And we also know this story, Don.
00:51This is not a news story.
00:54I mean, what folks don't realize is that Major League Baseball bought
00:58Rawlings years ago and the plant down in Costa Rica where all the balls are made and
01:03ships them out.
01:04There is one organization that controls what's happening with those baseballs.
01:09Oh, yeah.
01:09And it happens to be Major League Baseball themselves.
01:11So we have heard this every season now for about the last five years where we go through these
01:19crazy amount of run games.
01:20Then we go through periods of the ball's not the same.
01:23Pitchers are saying it.
01:24Players are saying it.
01:25And Major League Baseball is like, I don't know, take it off with the guys who make the
01:29balls.
01:29You're the one who makes the balls, Major League Baseball.
01:33You own Rawlings.
01:34Figure it out.
01:36Seems a little suspect to me.
01:37Okay.
01:37Okay.
01:38Yep.
