We ask shoppers in Birmingham what drives their choice of supermarket. Is it price, convenience, or product range? And have their habits changed lately?
Transcript
00:00Regarding supermarkets, I do tend to shop in either Tesco, Marks and Spencers.
00:05I did always use shopping as a purely for convenience because it's right where I live.
00:10But the quality of the produce and every time I went in there it just seemed to be going up and up in price.
00:16The quality wasn't there like it used to be.
00:19So we find that Tesco and Marks and Spencers are far, far better quality
00:24and they seem to do price matches as well, which is good.
00:28So my two main ones I would say is Asda and Lidl.
00:31Price, cost of living.
00:33So I always want to go to the one I can save the most money at.
00:38The best quality and like you can buy everything in one place is Tesco for me.
00:45But of course prices are crazy.
00:47So Lidl, Aldi, Asda, they are close to us so always we are choosing them.
00:55Because price and quality is the most important thing you are checking.
00:59and I think we can save.
01:00So we know the quality and the quality and money we are checking.
01:03So let's look at our prices.
