00:00Hello, it's Martin Dempster, the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here. Coming to you from the

00:06Macri on Islay. I've been meaning to come here for a good 20 years. Delighted to finally make

00:14it and it's not disappointed. Laggan Bay behind. Just a stunning setting for a golf course. DJ

00:24Russell, he's been involved in reeded design in this golf course and it really is a fantastic

00:31facility. Behind me is the par 3 ninth, probably the signature hole on the golf course and from

00:39start to finish it's a wonderful test of golf. On-site hotel, it's first class. I know this

00:47place is on the bucket list of many people and rightly so. I believe golf courses have

00:56to be playable for handicapped golfers. It's about getting the ball in play off the tee.

01:01There's lots of space to do that here and then the test is the second shot into the greens

01:07and this place really is in fantastic condition. Alan Martin, he's the director of golf here now.

01:14He's excited about the plans for the future. Ambitious owners here and it really would be
