00:00Well, we've used the NHS quite a lot. My partner's been quite ill and without the NHS we wouldn't
00:12have been able to have got through it. So I think any money that we can give to the NHS is great.
00:18My niece, your granddaughter, is a nurse and I think NHS is a great thing for the UK.
00:24Well, it's amazing. We really need it. It's just that it's in dire straits at the moment.
00:32So I don't feel I can... I avoid going to a doctor if I have any problems because of the issue.
00:38I feel like I'm not deserving of it, if you know what I mean, because I'm not sick enough.
00:43So I tend not to use the system, even though I do have minor ailments, if you like.
00:49But it's stretched. It's stretched to the limit and I think it's such a shame.
00:54It's part of who we are. So it needs more money.
00:59The NSS, I had a hernia operation some years ago and I have, like I said, I don't have many
01:06medical problems, but it is there for everybody. I'm all in favour of nurses getting an increase
01:13and encouraging more people to come and work for our National Health Service.
01:16My wife was in Kingsville a couple of days ago and I noticed how many international people that work
01:24there were very interesting to see. We're encouraging people from all over the world to come to our
01:29country to work for our National Health Service. So we need to be more welcome to people that come to
01:35our country to choose. Britain is their place of work.
