Rafael Fiziev vs Renato Moicano FULL FIGHT UFC Baku
Transcript
00:00Fazeve is in black, Moicano is in gold.
00:15When we talked to Moicano on Thursday,
00:19he said he wanted to pressure him.
00:20He wanted to get him going back.
00:22He was not allowing him to get comfortable
00:24to start throwing those powerful kicks
00:26and really mixing his offense.
00:28He's also one of the coaches at Tiger Muay Thai.
00:35George Hickman, his chief corner here at the UFC.
00:37As long as the fight is standing,
00:42Fazeve is a dangerous man, super technical, very powerful,
00:47and very dynamic, real explosive, does a lot of wild stuff, very fast.
00:54But the thing that stands out to me is his technical accurate.
00:59He knows so much about striking.
01:01Toyo Tire is the official tire of the UFC.
01:07Low leg attack is there early for Fazeve.
01:09And no telegraph at all.
01:11You say he slammed that in there?
01:13He looks so relaxed, right?
01:14Fazeve looks so relaxed.
01:15What are you looking?
01:16I mean, come on.
01:17Look at the way he's just letting those go.
01:20I mean, if you're not used to that,
01:22if you have not sparred a person like that,
01:24you're probably baffled to him.
01:26Those low kicks are going to be the problem for Moikano
01:28if he doesn't get it.
01:29Check it out.
01:30Everything's going to be the problem
01:32if he doesn't get this down to the ground.
01:34This guy is something different when it comes to stand-up.
01:37Mark Jacacy is a killer,
01:39and he was landing some shots on Jacacy
01:41that we just haven't seen guys be able to tee off like that on him before.
01:45Moikano seems really relaxed out there in front of him.
01:48He does.
01:49He seems calm, he seems collected, but as you said,
01:53best course would be to try to get this fight next.
01:55This is another level.
01:57Fazeve is world-class with stand-up.
02:01Fazeve giving a lot of different looks.
02:03He's gone southpaw a couple times,
02:04and Moikano has landed when he's gone lefty.
02:08Nice jab by Moikano there.
02:10Nice jab, but he ate an inside leg kick.
02:12Boom!
02:14Look how fast he lets loose that left kick.
02:17You good?
02:18You good?
02:19He's just a poke there.
02:20He's ignoring it.
02:23Yeah, Hinacho needs to mix it up.
02:24You should not just stand with him.
02:26I know that he's finding a little bit of success,
02:28but he should not play this game when he doesn't need to.
02:31You can't allow your ego to make you find a way
02:33that's just not beneficial to you.
02:35He should go get in the clutch, try to get takedowns,
02:39use his muscle even though he's finding a little bit of success
02:42on the feet.
02:43He had good success with that left-hand kick, yeah?
02:47And I will say, his chief corner, Conan Silveira,
02:49is nothing if not a master strategist.
02:51So the fact that he hasn't shot yet leads me to believe
02:54that this was part of the push.
02:57They believe that they have, I mean, he seems to come back.
02:59Ooh!
03:01That's right, nice shot, that was beautiful, right?
03:04And he wanted to come back a little bit on the feet,
03:06and then try to go to his takedowns.
03:08I like Moikano so much better at lightweight.
03:12I think that guy was torturing himself to get down to 45.
03:17Trevor Whitman, curious start here, my man.
03:20Fazid is so good, but the one thing I love about Moikano
03:23is his straight punches.
03:25His fundamental jab is working right now.
03:28And he throws that right hand to the body that I really like.
03:30Fazid has got to keep that motion going, keep attacking that leg,
03:34and not allow that long-range jab to get in, but Moikano looks very good also.
03:40That's what I love about this.
03:41These two just great fighters make such a great fight to watch
03:44from a technical standpoint.
03:46Awesome stuff.
03:49Blistering combination there for Raphael Fazid.
03:51They're not the fingers.
03:56That left kick to the body just comes out of here.
04:01That's one thing you cannot do with Muay Thai, guys.
04:03You can't do anything lazy.
04:05Always screw and catch and kind of throw you to the ground.
04:06That nice Muay Thai sweep that you just saw Fazid do.
04:09Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
04:14No, no, no.
04:15No, no, no, no.
04:17Test immediately, but Raphael Fazid, the real deal.
04:22Stay right here.
04:25And look at this combination here.
04:27Body.
04:28Body.
04:28Grips to the body, right hand to the top.
04:30I mean, boom, look at that left hook.
04:32It comes out of nowhere.
04:34I mean, the technique is just picture perfect.
04:36Bink.
04:37Right.
04:37Shout out to Robin Black.
04:38Right on the chin.
04:39Bam.
04:40And then, you know, she kind of could say that that was a, you got to give a guy a chance
04:45to recover.
04:46I agree.
04:46Yeah.
04:47I mean, look, he's, he's, he's going to guard.
04:50He's trying to recover.
04:51I can see his argument.
04:53I really can see his argument.
04:54Ladies and gentlemen, referee Chris Taioni is called a stop to this contest at four minutes,
04:59five seconds of the very first round.
05:01Declared the winner by knockout, Raphael Anaman Fazid.
05:11All right.
