Manhunt as film director, 69, murdered at home ‘for diamond encrusted Rolex watch’ near Regent’s Park

00:00A manhunt is underway after an award-winning film director was found murdered in her home
00:04near Regent's Park. 69-year-old Jennifer Abbott was discovered in Mornington Place in Camden
00:09at 6 p.m. on Friday. Neighbors claimed she was found wrapped in a blanket with tape over her
00:14mouth. A post-mortem exam gave the cause of death a sharp force trauma. Police believe she may have
00:20been targeted for her diamond-encrusted Rolex watch. Metropolitan Police officers were called
00:25by the London Ambulance Service who attended and sadly pronounced her dead at the scene.
00:29They suspect the luxury watch may be missing from her address. At this stage there have been no
00:33arrests and the killer remains at large. The force is appealing to the public for any information
00:38about the whereabouts of her watch.
