00:00Dan, we're hearing those words from President Trump.
00:04We have control of the airspace.
00:07We aren't going to take out the supreme leader yet.
00:11Is this Israel's conflict or is this the US's war?
00:17This is a conflict that unfortunately Israel was burdened in dealing with for the entire free world.
00:23And when I say free world, I mean many parts of the Middle East who have been under Iranian terror
00:28and subjugation since 1979.
00:33President Trump, of course, campaigned on a platform of ending US involvement in foreign wars,
00:40limiting US participation, and rightfully so after America went into Afghanistan,
00:47very correctly so, but it didn't go well.
00:50It was poorly managed, poorly planned.
00:52And in the end, America left and the Taliban came back in office.
00:56And, of course, the Iraq war in 2003, the reasons for it are under dispute to this day,
01:02whether it was smart or not.
01:04Certainly the execution of it didn't go well.
01:06Iraq is not a democracy today.
01:08So I get it that Americans are burned by the concept of regime change and bringing democracy to the world.
01:13And I do sympathize with that idea that Americans don't need to be playing regime kingmaker or matchmaker in the world.
01:20That said, nobody's talking about, right now, at least a regime change.
01:25Israel is certainly not talking about regime change.
01:28And if Israeli leaders are entertaining any kinds of those thoughts, I would caution them against it.
01:34That said, Iran has been very declaratively so the greatest enemy of Israel, of the West.
01:42It literally chants death to Israel, death to America as it parades them on intercontinental ballistic missiles through its streets.
01:50It has threatened in word and in practice.
01:52It backs virtually all of the proxies that attacked Israel on October 7th, 6th, October 7th, and for the past 30 years.
01:59And so Israel is really fighting this war, first and foremost for its own safety and security,
02:06but really for the stability, safety, and security of the region and of the free world.
02:12And there's a reason why virtually all of the region's powers are not rushing to condemn Israel in this,
02:18because almost every country now in the Middle East and most of the G7 and the European and Western powers
02:26are very happy to see a degraded Iran as far as its nuclear and ballistic missile program.
02:32And I don't think anybody would shed a tear to see this regime gone.
