At today's Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) zinged Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) over her failure to hold many hearings on military readiness.

And I think this kind of line of questioning, it's amazing how my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are all now focused on readiness. Right? I mean, I know my colleague from Hawaii chaired the readiness subcommittee. I think we had two hearings in four years.
