00:00Pretty disappointing. 3.4% is the highest level it's been since this government came to office.
00:06When we left office it wasn't up at 3.4%, it was down at 2%.
00:10Of course that's going to mean higher food prices for people up and down the country.
00:15And it's a situation of this government's making because they put up, for example, taxes, national insurance,
00:20some of which was passed through by way of higher prices, went out and borrowed a lot of money,
00:24spent a lot of money and kept inflation higher as a consequence.
