Our reporter Sophie Mei Lan took her tweens to P. Louise in Stockport.
Transcript
00:00We travelled 70 miles from home to go to this industrial estate.
00:05It's not just any industrial estate, it's full of pink MDF.
00:10This is the world of P. Louise, aka Paige Louise's Pink Empire.
00:18Yes, we paid to come here.
00:20It was £15 per person for the experience,
00:23or if you don't want to do any of the activities,
00:25it's just £5 and you get that back on your shopping.
00:30We, however, had paid to do the activities.
00:33We had an hour and 20 minutes to shop,
00:35and then we had 10 minutes to do the experience,
00:38which was making a keychain and also decorating a brownie.
00:43The kids absolutely loved it, and it is geared towards them.
00:48Although, if you don't book nine months in advance or more,
00:51you get no seating, no room at the cafe, there's no space at the inn.
00:55And even when you do book a ticket, it is jam-packed.
01:00It was a pink overload for someone like me,
01:04full of noise, full of shopping and full of people.
01:09But the youngsters seem to absolutely love it.
01:14Whether you love it or not, one thing is for sure.
01:18P. Louise has got her branding on point.
01:21Pink, plastic fantastic, lots of touches of bling and gold,
01:28and everything just looks so pretty.
01:31It feels more like you're on a Barbie meets Willy Wonka film set.
01:36And to be honest, many films do shoot some scenes inside such industrial estates.
01:41We had to queue to shop, queue to do the experience, and queue to get in.
01:47So there was a lot of queuing, but also photo opportunities galore,
01:52and plenty of stuff to buy.
