00:00I don't think that we can ever have peace with my family unless the truth is out there.
00:06Welcome to Ms. Mojo, where we'll be counting down the sassiest exchanges from the House of Windsor.
00:12Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.
00:18Number 10. Grumpy World Leaders
00:20President Biden and the First Lady will be meeting Queen Elizabeth this month.
00:24The face-to-face encounter is expected to take place in the UK following the G7 Summit.
00:30The late Queen Elizabeth II lived to the grand age of 96, making her reign one of the most impressive in global history.
00:38In 2021, despite being in her 90s, she was still as sharp-tongued as ever.
00:45This was proven at the G7 Summit, held at the Eden Project in Cornwall.
00:49It's been revealed that senior members of the royal family, including the Queen, will arrive here this evening to meet with G7 leaders.
00:57Her Majesty was joined by a variety of world leaders, including Joe Biden and Boris Johnson.
01:03At one point, she sensed a hint of negativity in the air.
01:07This prompted her to remark.
01:09Are you supposed to be looking as if you're enjoying it?
01:11Yes, definitely.
01:13No one except the Queen could be that sassy towards the world's most powerful people.
01:20Number 9. Seen to be believed
01:22Privacy is one of the few privileges these monarchs don't have.
01:26Their job is to serve their country, which involves constantly appearing at events all over Britain and the globe.
01:32They are the most talked-off family in the world.
01:36But for today, the King is simply the happy father, photographing the little princesses for his personal motion picture library.
01:43It's something monarchs have done for centuries, long before Elizabeth I, let alone the second.
01:49This is an aspect of Elizabeth II's job she took very seriously.
01:55She took it so seriously, she would famously say,
01:58I have to be seen to be believed.
02:00I told you it had to be upside down for the press.
02:02They can say, I don't know, I don't matter.
02:06In a digital world, her instance on keeping a physical presence has a no-nonsense edge to it.
02:12It's like saying she doesn't need theatrics.
02:15Her visibility is more than enough to reinforce her authority.
02:19I think I might just put a knife in it.
02:21Number 8. Can't wait to be king.
02:23Prince George is one of the newest royals born to William and Kate in 2013.
02:28He's still a long way from adulthood, and by extension, being a king.
02:33Regardless of that fact, he doesn't shy away from asserting his authority.
02:38And Prince George did so with enthusiasm.
02:41Not for him, the dignified royal wave.
02:44His parents have informed him of his royal lineage,
02:47something he's used to elicit respect from his classmates.
02:50Prince George apparently tells his classmates,
02:53My dad will be king, so you better watch out.
02:56Most kids brag about their parents' strength or wealth,
02:59but George can one-up them all by dropping the monarchy bomb.
03:03Introduction to the school for you today.
03:05It's a pleasure to have you with us.
03:07Come on up.
03:08All right.
03:08Come on through.
03:10Number 7.
03:11Argument with the Queen Mother.
03:13The Queen Mother was quite the sassy character herself,
03:16which is probably where Elizabeth II inherited her wit.
03:19She also lived an exceptionally long life, dying at the grand age of 101.
03:25There are many examples of hilarious interactions between the two.
03:29Do you know that I haven't watched from a pair of monoculars for ages?
03:33One comes from when the pair attended a show in the West End.
03:36It seems they were having a minor argument,
03:39prompting the Queen Mother to ask her daughter,
03:42Who do you think you are?
03:43Elizabeth II responded,
03:45The Queen, Mummy.
03:46The Queen.
03:47Poor you tears.
03:49Oh dear.
03:49I always watch on the television.
03:51It's the emotion.
03:52No, no, I watch on the television.
03:54No, Mummy, if you look into the wind like that.
03:56Her mother's response is undocumented,
03:58but we're certain she had no chance of retaliating against it.
04:03Number 6.
04:04Princess Anne and the Photographers.
04:06They were almost pretending they weren't there,
04:08so engaging them in conversation was always quite,
04:10they were always looking,
04:11I'm not really here,
04:12you know,
04:13I don't really want to talk to anyone.
04:14One of the royals who takes the least nonsense is Princess Anne,
04:18King Charles III's only sister.
04:21In her younger years,
04:22she was a talented horse rider,
04:24so skilled that she competed at the 1976 Olympic Games.
04:28The first Royal Olympian.
04:30It is probably the most dangerous sport on the planet.
04:34Her career wasn't mistake-free, however.
04:36In 1982, she accidentally fell off her horse.
04:40At the time,
04:40journalists reported that she'd told them all to naff off afterward.
04:45Later, reports revealed the reporters had fabricated the naff part.
04:49She'd actually said something a lot ruder,
04:51but not family-friendly enough for tabloid's news articles.
04:55It makes sense,
04:56since naff is pretty tame for a woman as savage as Anne.
05:01Yes, well, I can see four anyway.
05:03Okay, very well.
05:03Actually, you don't need me,
05:04you know what I look like.
05:06Number five.
05:08Kathy's Clown.
05:09The American rock duo,
05:10the Everly Brothers,
05:11was remarkably successful in the 50s and 60s,
05:14so much so that even the Queen started listening to their tracks.
05:18Unlike artists such as Abba,
05:20Fred Astaire,
05:20and Vera Lynn,
05:22Her Majesty wasn't fond of what she heard.
05:24It's safe to assume she hated them,
05:26since she believed their hit single,
05:28Kathy's Clown,
05:29sounded like two cats being strangled.
05:32I die each time
05:35I hear this sound
05:38That didn't stop the track from becoming their best-selling single.
05:43A band who loved it were the Beatles,
05:45who fascinatingly once considered calling themselves
05:47the Foreverly Brothers,
05:49a much less catchy name.
05:51That's Kathy's Clown.
05:54Number four.
05:55Driving King Abdullah.
05:57In Saudi Arabia,
05:58women were banned from driving until 2018,
06:01a phenomenally late year to enact basic law.
06:04It will change my life,
06:05it will change my family.
06:06It's freedom.
06:07Yeah, it's freedom, yeah.
06:08In 1998,
06:10Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia went on a state visit to Balmoral,
06:14a Scottish royal estate.
06:16After a spot of lunch,
06:17the Queen asked if Abdullah would join her for a drive.
06:21He was frightened when Her Majesty sat behind the wheel,
06:24then got even more scared when she started zooming through the estate,
06:28talking the whole time.
06:30The Prince was so terrified,
06:31he begged her to slow down.
06:32In my grandmother's day,
06:34there would never have been any ivy anywhere.
06:36Her driving skill is hardly surprising,
06:38since she was a trained mechanic and truck driver in the Second World War.
06:43Number three.
06:44Harry's memoir,
06:45Spare.
06:46One of the most divisive royals is undoubtedly Prince Harry.
06:50As King Charles III's younger child,
06:52it's unlikely he'll ever take the throne,
06:54which makes him feel like a spare.
06:56This became the title of his 2023 memoir,
07:00released after his exit from royal duties.
07:02Then the release of Prince Harry's autobiography,
07:05Spare,
07:05has just about destroyed all hope.
07:08It's one of the most personal critiques of the family ever published.
07:12Written by Harry himself,
07:13the traditional royal code is never complain,
07:16never explain.
07:17But by publishing Spare,
07:19he shattered the code.
07:20Of course,
07:21some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book.
07:24Of course,
07:24they will never forgive me for lots of things.
07:27It's painted the royal family as being emotionally cold,
07:30manipulative,
07:31and image-obsessed.
07:32It includes tons of savage moments,
07:34like calling Camilla an evil stepmother,
07:37and his brawl with William.
07:39Prince Harry writes about a fight he had with his brother in 2019 over Meghan Markle,
07:44a fight that he says turned physical
07:46when his brother grabbed him by the collar and pushed him to the floor.
07:50Number two.
07:51Harry and Meghan's Oprah interview.
07:53In 2021,
07:54the controversial royal couple was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey
07:58in a monumental television special.
08:00The most important question to be answered here
08:03at the end of this show will be,
08:07why did they leave?
08:09It was a direct takedown of the monarchy's image,
08:12which had some humongous allegations.
08:15For instance,
08:16they accused the family of racism regarding their children's skin tone.
08:19Meghan also revealed she felt isolated from the family,
08:22which took a huge toll on her mental health.
08:24I'm not going to live my life in fear.
08:27You know,
08:28I think so much of it is said with an understanding of just truth.
08:34Millions took their side,
08:36sympathetic to their struggles.
08:37Others were outraged,
08:39saying there were liars who were being excessively dramatic.
08:42Did you want,
08:43were you trying to have it both ways?
08:44You wanted to step back,
08:46but also keep your foot in royal business,
08:51it seems.
08:51A year later,
08:52the pair released a Netflix documentary,
08:54which was similarly controversial.
08:56It also strengthened their opponent's arguments,
08:59who thought they weren't interested in a quiet life.
09:02And I guess because I was so exhausted,
09:04I was just really grateful that someone seemed to ask me something,
09:09like I was a human being.
09:10Before we unveil our top pick,
09:12here are a few honourable mentions.
09:14Poisonous lilies.
09:16Elizabeth II jokes to a gardener about being poisoned by gifted lilies.
09:20There's no way.
09:24Gentle.
09:26Eric Clapton sass.
09:28Elizabeth II asked Clapton a rather condescending question.
09:32Football Quip
09:40Her Majesty Once Called Footballers Prima Donnas

10:05Diana s Panorama Interview
10:07When no one listens to you,
10:09or you feel no one s listening to you,
10:11all sorts of things start to happen.
10:12Long before Megxit,
10:14Diana was the first royal to publicly expose issues within the family in 1995.
10:19It shocked the world,
10:20breaking numerous unspoken royal rules.
10:23She spoke openly about dark topics like her depression,
10:26her marriage s infidelities,
10:28and her bulimia.
10:29Is that true?
10:30Yes, I did.
10:31I had bulimia for a number of years.
10:34Diana even questioned whether Charles was fit for the job of king.
10:37I would think that the top job, as I call it,
10:41would bring enormous limitations to him,
10:44and I don't know whether he could adapt to that.
10:46Soon after, the Queen ordered a divorce between the couple.
10:50Public opinion of the monarch changed forever,
10:52with people largely taking Diana's side.
10:54The press turned Diana into the people's princess,
10:57portraying her as a woman wronged.
10:59That's why it's easily the most savage moment,
11:02and sent shockwaves across the globe.
11:04Why is she strong?
11:05Where does she get it from?
11:06Where is she taking it?
11:08Where is she going to use it?
11:10Why do the public still support her?
11:12Were there any scathing quips we forgot to mention?
11:15Let us know in the comments below.
11:17Is that all?
11:19Well, obviously, I had knowledge of it.
