Iran has launched a sweeping crackdown on alleged Mossad agents, with arrests, executions, and missile strikes following years of covert conflict. On June 16, Iranian authorities executed an alleged Israeli spy, and arrested two more Mossad operatives in northern Iran. A day later, Iran’s hypersonic missiles allegedly struck a Mossad facility in Herzliya, Israel. Videos from PressTV and RT show widespread damage and failed Israeli intercepts. Iran’s leadership now vows full retaliation for past assassinations of IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists. The proxy war appears to have become a direct confrontation.
