00:00In 28 years later, we tried imagining how a world would rebuild itself after an apocalypse.

00:06Holy Island's a small little island that's disconnected from the mainland by a causeway.

00:12They've had to become quite ingrained in a sort of survivalist sort of way of living.

00:17Once you walk onto that mainland, you're on your own, you understand.

00:21In a sense, it's this snow globe that is protected away from the infected.

00:26And the infected, these are extraordinary creatures.

00:32They haven't died and come back to life.

00:33They're living people who've got sick and been infected with the rage virus.

00:40That dictates some stuff.

00:41They need to drink, they need to eat.

00:43If they've survived 28 years infected with this disease, what would they look like?

00:49Are they similar to anything in the animal kingdom?

00:52What would they be similar to?

00:56I'm thrilled to be part of this Danny Ball-Alex Garland project, which feels rich in cinematic potential.
