00:00To be involved with calling the matchup between Gunther and Goldberg, three weeks from Saturday.

00:06I'm still buzzing just from being ringside out of the roof was going to come off the Resch Center.

00:11Unbelievable. Goldberg returns and he's gunning for the ring general.

00:19Goldberg, a current Hall of Famer. No doubt this man is a future Hall of Famer.

00:30And his opponent from Jamesville, Georgia, weighing in at 220 pounds, the phenomenal A.J. Stiles.

00:45There's so much to talk about in this matchup tonight. First, let's talk about A.J. Stiles.

00:51He'd love to win a second Intercontinental Championship in his career.

00:54And Dominic Mysterio got himself in trouble here, Corey.

00:58He ran his mouth to Stiles a number of times and now A.J. Stiles is gunning for him.

01:03So what does Dominic do? He asked the Judgment Day to do his dirty work for him.

01:08First Finn Balor and now tonight J.D. McDonough.

01:10Why run with a crew at all if they won't watch your back for you?

01:14Dom, as the Intercontinental Champion, simply doing what's expected of any group.

01:17Yeah, but since Dominic Mysterio won the Intercontinental Championship,

01:20he has rarely, if ever, helped out the members of the Judgment Day.

01:27But as soon as he needs help, oh boy, he's out here to help J.D. McDonough tonight.

01:32Oh, would you listen to yourself?

01:33Do you have any idea how physically demanding the life of Dominic Mysterio is?

01:37Competing and defending the Intercontinental Championship against the best in the world.

01:41Well, making sure that Liv Morgan is content and satisfied all the time.

01:46It's a full-time gig for Dirty Dom.

01:48I saw him in the barber chair today.

01:50I don't understand what Josh was doing because Dominic still has a full head of hair.

01:55It's called getting lined up, keeping that mustache tight, Michael Cole.

01:58A.J. Stiles, J.D. McDonough.

02:00First time these two men have ever met one-on-one in the ring.

02:02Nice takedown by Stiles, the former two-time WWE Champion.

02:06These are two world-class mat technicians, A.J. Stiles with the experience advantage.

02:11But J.D. McDonough, despite all of your incessant jokes about the size of his cranium,

02:15is a threat, a true force to be reckoned with in this game, an unbelievably skilled wrestler.

02:21Yeah, no doubt about that.

02:22And just a tremendous heart and resilience as well.

02:25Back in December, nasty crash onto our announce table.

02:29And we thought his career was over.

02:31He was able to come back and still compete at a high level here.

02:34McDonough, former World Tag Team Champion, mentioned that he and Finn Balor would love

02:40to win back the gold, currently held by The New Day.

02:44I think the future is extremely bright for J.D. McDonough, despite the fact that he was

02:48dealt a rough hand of cards by Life.

02:50Shoulders down.

02:51And a kick out.

02:52And now J.D. McDonough going to stack up A.J.

02:56Back and forth to go here.

02:58It's not J.D.'s fault he was born with the skull of a Minecraft character.

03:02And look at this head-scissor escape by McDonough.

03:06And McDonough now in control.

03:09A.J. Styles beat Chad Gable last week in a classic matchup on Monday Night Raw.

03:13Oh, nice bridge out of this by McDonough, at least momentarily.

03:17And now using that oversized cranium to balance himself.

03:20And, well, helped him get out of that predicament into a backslide.

03:24A.J. turns things around.

03:25Oh, he looks like A.J. was thinking about a Styles clash.

03:27J.D. sensed it coming and got out of dodge in a hurry.

03:30I want to talk about A.J. Styles as the WWE Universe begins to sing along.

03:35Styles truly is a timeless competitor.

03:37And A.J.'s been very open and honest recently that there might not be a lot of time left in his career.

03:42So Styles wants to make absolutely certain that his last few years, however long that run may be, is at the top of the game.

03:48Well, that's one of the things that Dominic is preying on as well.

03:52The age of A.J. Styles.

03:53He's poked fun at it.

03:54Called him an old man.

03:57J.D. McDonough may be prematurely celebrating.

04:00And that's the class act that Dominic Mysterio is.

04:03What is wrong with Dirty Dom applauding his Judgment Day stablemate?

04:08He was simply cheering on J.D. McDonough for a job well done.

04:11It is what he said about A.J. Styles.

04:12It's also the way that he's treated his father.

04:16Styles trying to wrestle him down the mat.

04:19Styles turns it around and now tries to lock it in.

04:26And A.J. pulls him back to the center of the right.

04:31Fantastic reversal by Styles.

04:33Maintaining the pressure on this calf crusher submission.

04:35And look at Dominic forcing the rope toward his partner.

04:40And it looked to me like Dom might have just been a little off balance.

04:43He's trying to sturdy himself.

04:44Oh, that's what it is.

04:45Referee Sean Bennett catching him in the ax.

04:47And can I just say what a great guy Dirty Dom happens to be?

04:49I saw him at the airport last night.

04:51And the first thing he did was come up and wish me a happy Father's Day.

04:54He said he'd been jealous his entire life.

04:56He'd never been able to celebrate.

04:57Well, I know that he didn't wish his dad a happy Father's Day.

04:59So at least he wished some of that.

05:01I don't know if he'd visit Eddie's graveyard room.

05:04A.J. Styles now.

05:06This is a mistake by Styles taking his eye off the goal.

05:09Maybe not.

05:09He's grabbing Dominic.

05:12Takes out A.J. Styles.

05:17Now you're going to tell me Dominic sacrificed himself, too.

05:21That's a great point.

05:27Well, Dominic Mysterio did what he had to do.

05:29He distracted A.J. Styles just long enough for J.D. McDonough to launch himself over the barricade and take Styles out.

05:35And that just speaks volumes to how great of a job Dominic Mysterio does getting under his opponent's skin.

05:42And this is A.J. Styles, a man who's done everything and then some in this business.

05:46Oh, good job, Dominic.

05:47Nice job.

05:48That's great.

05:48That really did a lot of good.

05:50Look, Dom is a fantastic teammate, Michael Cole.

05:53You are the Intercontinental Champion.

05:55There's no doubt about that.

05:58How about how he embarrassed himself and his dad at Worlds Collide in front of the world.

06:09I think Dirty Dom showed the world that he can be a fighting champion.

06:17Dirty Dom was simply trying to take in a massive cultural event like Worlds Collide alongside Liv Morgan.

06:23And Dom took it upon himself to offer up an opportunity at the Intercontinental title against Octagon Jr.

06:28That, to me, is a sign of a true fighting champion that should be respected.

06:32His dad, Ray, was being honored at that event.

06:34He embarrassed him.

06:35Then he embarrassed Octagon Jr. for being a Ray Mysterio fan.

06:37That's because Ray Mysterio is a spotlight hog.

06:40You've got the Intercontinental Champion here, Dirty Dom.

06:42And all you want to talk about are all the accolades Ray's been receiving lately.

06:45It's kind of gross.

06:46This is the Hall of Fame report.

07:39He was busy focusing on the task at hand, which is bringing victory to J.D. McDonough and the Judgment Day as a whole.

07:53Again, this all started when A.J. decided to pursue Dominic in the Intercontinental title.

07:57Now Dominic's been trying to get every member of the Judgment Day to come out here and take care of his problem.

08:39So I also have a question about the Judgment Day.

08:42And you've been watching, Corey.

08:43This whole Finn Balor situation, is he trying to do good by the Judgment Day or is he trying to drive a wedge in the group?

08:49Listen, I think there's a lot of turmoil within the Judgment Day because you've got a lot of people trying to do their own things individually,

08:55which sometimes can come at the cost of the unit.

08:57You've got Dirty Dom, the reigning Intercontinental Champion.

09:00Everybody should be stoked about that.

09:02Unfortunately for a superstar the caliber of Finn Balor, that may mean less opportunity.

09:06That's why it's of the utmost importance for J.D. McDonough to come out here, get the job done against A.J. Stiles,

09:11and then the Judgment Day as a unit can move forward.

09:14Roxanne Perez has not been welcomed with open arms by some members of Judgment Day, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

09:22Although Finn continues to bring her around.

09:27Well, Roxanne Perez is a world-class competitor.

09:30She's a great addition to any faction.

09:32Just so happens to be the Judgment Day right now.

09:34On a clothesline by Stiles.

09:36And now A.J. with that sliding, running forearm.

09:38And A.J. Stiles starting to take over.

09:40And this is what I talk about when I say A.J. Stiles is timeless.

09:43The man seems immune to aging.

09:46Just moving forward at the same speed, the same pace as always.

09:54I haven't heard that in years.

10:14There are very few situations, if any, left in this game that A.J. Stiles hasn't experienced and excelled at.

10:48We talk at great length about the pit bull mentality of A.J. Stiles.

10:53It's why A.J. has made it to the pinnacle of this industry on multiple occasions.

10:58You know, McDonough is one of those guys, Corey, that you just feel is on the cusp of a breakout at some point.

11:04I completely agree with you.

11:05And I think coming back after the injury that McDonough sustained is a clean slate, a fresh opportunity.

11:10You can see physically he's in perhaps the best shape of his career.

11:14J.D. just needs the chips to fall his way once.

11:17And if he capitalizes, it could be a very, very bright future.

11:20Yeah, win over Stiles would propel him to big heights if he could pull that off tonight.

11:24It's a very big if, however.

11:26J.D. going for Brogue, looking for a superplex off the top turnbuckle.

11:30This could end it for Stiles, but A.J. going to keep fighting.

11:33McDonough trying to balance himself and, oh, knocked down to the mat.

11:38And Stiles been through a lot in this matchup.

11:47Perhaps he could have pulled something.

13:17This could be looking into a crystal ball for the Judgment Day.

13:21But look, Finn and Dom looking to hatch some sort of attack here.

13:37He's not the Intercontinental Champion, but Corey, he may well be sometime down the road.
