00:00The End
00:30Ireland, the land of legend, of romance and ruins, of shamrock and shannon, of banshee and blarneystone, where peat smoke from humble cottages curls like a magic mist high over the countryside.
00:52Oh, my, I'm not long for this world.
01:01It is here that the fairy folk still play, and that the wee men, known as leprechauns, still live and work, hidden away in their underground cabler shops, making shoes to give to the poor.
01:18Whist! It is the fourth night of the seventh moon. Time for the ceremony of washing our gold. Let's hoist the crock of gold from its secret hiding place.
01:44Paddy, go fetch this tub of salt and water.
02:00Heave over me, lads, and up she comes.
02:03And up she comes.
02:04And up she comes.

02:23Oh, my God.
02:53A leprechaun without his gold is like a man without a soul.
03:07Or a race without a goal.
03:09Or a hearth without a coal.
03:12Or a donut without a hole.
03:23Faith, there's no potatoes in the stew.
03:37No potatoes?
03:38Yes.
03:46Where are you going with that gold coin?
03:48I was going to spend it on some spuds.
03:51Spend it?
03:52The lad's daft.
03:53That he is.
03:54That he is.
03:56What's the good of the gold if you can't spend it?
03:59Have you forgotten the law of the leprechauns?
04:01When a leprechaun gets caught, the rest of the clan must give up their pot of gold so she can be set free.
04:07That's why we need our gold.
04:09And don't you forget it.
04:11And as for the spuds, sometimes the widow Leary leaves a few on her doorstep just for us leprechauns.
04:18Let me go if she's left any spuds tonight.
04:22I'll let the lad go.
04:24He's all in on now.
04:29Now get along with you, lad.
04:31And mind you, don't get caught.
04:43Christ, fireflies, can you spare us a bit of a life?
04:48Ah, there's the widow's house.
05:09Nice and quiet like two.
05:18Please, please, Mr. Gumbyne.
05:29Your whaling ain't going to help you at all, Leary.
