00:00Oh! Jumping Jupiter! It's so good to see you!
00:07Do you know how a teacup and a bat go together?
00:10Today my friends are going to teach Marty and I a game with a teacup, a ball, and a bat.
00:16I wonder what it is?
00:18I like to play games on my planet too, but your Earth games are truly duly different.
00:23Do you like to try different things?
00:25Well, come on! Let's go play some tea ball!
00:29Here comes Dooley from a planet far away.
00:36His boat was way up in the sky where Dooley used to play.
00:40He's come from far beyond the start, made some brand new friends.
00:44So now it's time to learn a play with Dooley and Pals!
00:49Dooley, Dooley, Dooley and Pals!
00:52Yay, Dooley!
00:53He made a friend out of you and me, Dooley and Pals!
00:58Spinnin' Space Dust, Marty! I can't wait to play T-Ball!
01:08Another strange Earth game!
01:11Ooh, I hope the tea isn't too pot...
01:13I mean, too hot!
01:16Come on, let's play!
01:17Is it set up? Let's go!
01:19Dooley, what's this?
01:23Leaping light years, Nick! It's T-Ball!
01:26Marty and I set everything up!
01:28See? We put the cups and the saucers on these nice placemats!
01:35We didn't know what to do with the bat you gave us, so I hung it upside down!
01:39That's what bats do, isn't it?
01:40Cosmic Comets! I've got the ball! So, how do you play T-Ball, hmm?
01:53T-Ball? Did you think we were having a tea party? That's funny!
01:58In T-Ball, you used the bat to hit the ball off the tee!
02:01These aren't placemats! They're bases! You're supposed to run around them!
02:05And everyone else tries to catch the ball you hit!
02:08Oh! Marty, I think we made a fruzzle!
02:13Dooley, didn't you say that a fruzzle meant a mistake?
02:17Yeah, it's a duly-duly dumb mistake!
02:21We seem to make a lot of those! It isn't cheesy! I mean, uh, easy being from another planet!
02:28Mistakes aren't dumb, you guys! We all learn by making mistakes!
02:33We didn't mean to hurt your feelings!
02:35We'd be the aliens if we were on your planet! We'd make all kinds of mistakes, and you'd laugh at us, too!
02:41Yeah, and friends can laugh at their differences!
02:44Yeah, not everything about us is different! You guys like to learn, and laugh, and play, and we do, too!
02:52That's right, Dooley! Because people are the same, and they're different!
02:56But no two people, or aliens, are exactly the same, and that's okay!
03:04I know a kid who can whistle through his nose, and a girl who can wiggle her ears!
03:16I've got a friend who can throw a baseball fast!
03:20And I can sing loud and clear!
03:24Everybody has a talent! Everybody's special in a special way!
03:30No two people are quite the same, and that's perfectly A-OK!
03:36OK!
03:37My grandpa can watch a TV show, even though his eyes are closed!
03:53And your grandma can take a needle and thread, and make you the neatest clothes!
03:59Oh, everybody has a talent! Everybody's special in a special way!
04:07No two people are quite the same, and that's perfectly A-OK!
04:12OK!
04:13Perfectly A-OK!
04:23I have a friend with a rocket ship, who can fly right through the air!
04:29And I have a friend who can build anything!
04:33Look! I've made you a chair!
04:36Oh, everybody has a talent! Everybody's special in a special way!
04:42And no two people are quite the same, and that's perfectly A-OK!
04:49OK!
04:50Perfectly A-OK!
04:52Everybody!
04:53Everybody has a talent! Everybody's special in a special way!
04:59No two people are quite the same, and that's perfectly A-OK!
05:05OK!
05:06Perfectly A-OK!
05:08All right!
05:09Perfectly A-OK!
05:11Yay!
05:12Yay!
05:13Yay!
05:14You know two aliens are quite the same, and that's perfectly A-OK!
05:16OK!
05:17OK!
05:18OK!
05:19Hey, Cosmos!
05:20Yes?
05:21Would you say that you and I are the same or different?
05:28Hmm...

05:35We both like playing hide-and-seek. That's the same.
05:36Mm-hmm!
05:37Uh, you wear glasses, and I don't, so I can see better than you and probably do more things. That's different.
05:42Uh, what makes you think you can do more things than me?
05:43Oh, oh, well, uh, it's just that you have bad eyes, and so...
05:44Bad eyes?

13:26Isn't it the silliest game?
13:30We're all different but we're all the same
13:39We're all different but we're all the same
13:51Ooh, wow, look at that, Marty.
14:14These animals are so pretty.
14:16I heard you were talking about things that are different and the same today.
14:19So I thought I'd bring these birds by to help show you how different the same kind of things can be.
14:24You mean they're both birds?
14:26They sure are.
14:27Drake here is a duck and Henny here is a chicken.
14:30They look so different.
14:32Well, you know, even though they're birds, they're still very different from each other.
14:35Like ducks can fly.
14:37That's right.
14:38But, you know, Henny's wings are too short to let her fly far, so she likes to stay on the ground.
14:43Ooh, they're different colors, too.
14:45Don't ducks swim?
14:47They sure do, Chris.
14:48And, you know, they love the water.
14:50But hens, they prefer dry land.
14:52Wow.
14:53They're so different.
14:54But how are these birds the game, Dr. Arvid?
14:58I mean, how are they the same?
15:00Okay.
15:01Well, since Drake and Henny here are both birds, that means they both have wings, feathers, and beaks.
15:06Do they both play eggs, too?
15:08They sure do.
15:09And, you know, that's another way in which they're the same.
15:11Well, Cosmic Comets, we're so glad to have you as our friend, Dr. Arvid, because you teach us about all different kinds of animals.
15:20I can't believe the same kinds of things can be so different.
15:25Ugh.
15:26Gravity gravy.
15:27I'm learning so much about being different and being the same.
15:32How are you different from your friends?
15:35What makes you and your friends the same?
15:38Hmm.
15:39What makes you truly, duly special?
15:42Hmm?
15:43Hey, Zoom, I've got one for you.
15:47Why did the chicken cross the playground?
15:49Cosmos?
15:50Yes?
15:51My feelings are hurt.
15:53I don't feel like joking.
15:55Oh, I was just trying to cheer you up.
15:59I didn't like that you said I have bad eyes because I wear glasses.
16:03Oh, Zoom, I'm sorry.
16:05Ah, now that's what I wanted to hear.
16:07Are you really sorry?
16:08Oh, of course I am.
16:10Your eyes are beautiful.
16:12Oh, they just see it differently than mine do.
16:14Thanks, Cosmos.
16:16You know, there's another way we're the same.
16:18Hmm.
16:18We both like jokes.
16:20So, why did the turtle cross the road?
16:24Hmm.
16:25Why?
16:26It was the chicken's day off.
16:30Hmm.
16:31Well, that one wasn't funny.
16:32What?
16:33That joke puts me in orbit.
16:34Well, I guess we just see it differently.
16:42Today's film's facts are about how different we are.
17:02All polar bears are left-handed.
17:05Just like fingerprints, everybody has a different tongue print.
17:10Polar bears are the only mammals with hair on the bottom of their feet.
17:14Aliens have invaded our ship.
17:41Aliens!
17:42Oh, simmer in sunspots
17:48Don't look until we're ready
17:50These antennae look just like doolies
17:54Chris and I are going to pretend to be Marty
17:57Okay, let the show begin
18:00Jumping jackrabbits
18:02Welcome, space travelers
18:03Max, it's jumping Jupiter, not jumping jackrabbits
18:07Uh, we're all new to feeling melee
18:11I mean, uh, wheeling railings
18:14What he means is we're all new to being aliens
18:17So we might do things a little differently
18:19Uh, Marty, what exactly is the difference between our Earth friends and us?
18:25No, uh, something new to things?
18:28Hmm, different
18:29We're all different in our own special ways
18:32I have special dilly dance
18:34Oh
18:38No, that's not it
18:41It goes like this
18:42You forgot this part
18:43Now, dilly and Marty, you're not laughing at us, are you?
18:53Huh?
18:54Oh, oh, uh, no, no
18:57Your dilly dances are different than mine
18:59But they were all dilly-rific
19:01Oh, that makes me feel like doing my dilly dance
19:06I think you're all pretty dilly-rific
19:15See, dilly?
19:16We'd make all kinds of mistakes
19:18Oops, I mean, uh, frusals
19:20If we were on your planet
19:21Oh, but that's okay
19:23We'd help you out
19:24Just like you helped Dooley and me
19:26Yeah
19:27I guess we're all different in our own special way
19:30Hmm
19:31But we're all the same
19:32Because we're all good friends
19:34And that's important
19:36No matter what planet you're from
19:38All through history
19:50Looking up into outer space
19:54People wondered
19:56If there was only one human race
20:00So come take a look
20:02Through our telescope to view the sky
20:05And see what you'd see
20:09If you rode into space
20:13With Marty and I
20:16If you could go for a ride in a rocket ship
20:20You'd float through the air and give gravity the skip
20:24Sail through the stars and pass Neptune
20:27And wave to the man in the moon
20:31Then you'd finally learn
20:40If there were little men who live on Mars
20:43And if Venus spoke
20:46And rode around in Venus cars
20:49First did Saturn beat Pluto
20:52In basketball this year
20:55Or we could beam down
20:58And see Jupiter down
21:02With everyone here
21:05If we could go for a ride in a rocket ship
21:10We'd float in the air and give gravity the slip
21:13Sail through the stars and pass Neptune
21:16And wave to the man in the moon
21:22There's a lot more out there
21:29For you and I to look and see
21:33Discover new galaxies
21:35And name them after you and me
21:39Learn why the Earth goes around the sun each day
21:44And we'd all agree
21:47That the universe is
21:52An awesome place
21:54If we could go for a ride in a rocket ship
21:59We'd float in the air and give gravity the slip
22:02Sail through the stars and pass Neptune
22:05And wave to the man in the moon
22:10And wave to the man in the moon
22:18So
22:29Sue
22:31Sue
22:33Sue
22:33I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings
22:35I didn't mean to
22:37You think I can't tell a joke
22:39No, no
22:41I love your jokes
22:42But maybe I feel differently about a joke than you do
22:45It's okay for us to be different
22:47It is?
22:49Sure
22:49That's what makes us special
22:51What fun would it be if we were exactly the same in every way?
22:56Hmm
22:56I guess it wouldn't be Cosmos and Zoom
22:59We'd be, uh, Zoomos
23:01Oh, Cos-oom
23:03Now that's funny
23:06Daily Dooley Log Entry
23:18Oh, hi everybody
23:21It's me, Dooley
23:23Ever since my ship landed here on Earth
23:26I've learned lots about your planet
23:29Today, I learned that we're all different
23:34But we're all the same, too
23:36Marty and I were embarrassed
23:38Because we had some different ideas about T-Ball
23:41But friends can laugh at their differences and learn from them
23:44Mrs. Z brought us the letter D
23:46And told us that sometimes people laugh at something different
23:49But it's only because they don't understand it yet
23:52Dr. Arvid brought a duck and a chicken to visit
23:55And we learned even the same kinds of animals can look very different
23:59Our Earth friends made Marty and I laugh by pretending to be aliens
24:03We learned we may be different in some ways
24:05But the most important thing is we're all good friends
24:08And as always, we shared some Dooley Rhythmic Picture Pals
24:13Don't forget to mail yours to the Dooley and Pals Show
