00:05believe in soul, karma, and rebirth. Today, I'm going to talk about freedom. Freedom,

00:11a word so commonly used but not many people can fully understand. And if they can fully

00:17understand freedom, they will realize that there is no such thing as freedom. Because

00:21freedom can only exist in theory. What we can have and we can use is conditional freedom.

00:28Let's give an example. We can't go against the traffic just because we have overshoot and miss

00:33our destination. That is to say that we can't have the freedom of going against the traffic

00:37because there is a set law to follow or else the traffic will be chaotic. This example seems

00:44impossible. Who on earth will go against the law? But if you read the news, there are many drivers

00:49that go against the traffic and are even bold to tell that they are practicing their right.

00:54They are practicing their freedom. To these people, they can't visualize that they are wrong

00:59because their freedom is without condition. And this type of freedom is in most of the educational

01:05system around the world. And so this type of freedom is also so widely taught, widely spread.

01:12Students are not taught that their freedom is with condition. And therefore, when they are adult,

01:16they create problems. For example, in some countries, freedom to have a lot of firearms,

01:22freedom to take drugs, freedom to take excessive alcohol, freedom to wear whatever they want,

01:27freedom to create riot after a lost football match, etc. In their mind, this is their freedom.

01:34This is their freedom. There is no law, no condition. To them, freedom come first. But let's face reality.

01:41The moment a person is born, there is no freedom. Because in the first place, did this person choose

01:48to be born? Did this person choose to be born in that family, that time, that country, etc.? Not only

01:54that, can a person don't breathe, don't drink, don't eat, don't sleep, etc. And therefore, freedom

02:01needs to fulfill a certain condition. If one cannot fulfill that condition, then that freedom cannot be
