00:00It's been a long career, 27 seasons, and as an active athlete and hockey player, so that's
00:18about time to say goodbye, and I'm going to do that in Moscow on December 13th, and it's
00:28going to be my final terrible game.
00:45He's probably one of the best center icemen I've ever seen.
00:49Igor was like Peyton Manning, making all those plays.
00:52Every time I think of him, I think of the magnitude and importance of his overtime goal.
00:59When Iggy first walked in our room, I think, you know, guys were in awe of him, but I mean,
01:06that's, you know, the KLM, I mean, that's, you know, the Russian Gretzky.
01:12As great a hockey player as Igor was, is, and still is, he's a better person.
01:19I mean, that's what I remember most about Igor, is how good of a person he is.
01:24He's just outstanding.
01:25And I was delighted and happy to invite all my guys, all my friends, to Moscow to celebrate
01:32the 28's.
01:33It was, I mean the most good to celebrate the 28% of his career.
01:34But I have always talked about it, and so I have my chance to see in sync with my
01:36trip, both the香arbiers, but is very different.
01:37But it wasn't as compared to many of our careers.
01:39But I have ali and I can't decide how there's a bitch to celebrate his career and
01:40a real impression, because I'm always doing a boss.
01:41But without wanting to celebrate here.
01:42I can say I like the fact that we have some love happening to you maybe
01:43when there is Abercrata, but I'm very happy to put in touch with
01:44or I can actually say goodbye, at the referee.
01:45Yeah, here's my, when I was living from age, I believe age 4 till 20 when I moved to Red
02:12Army Club in 1981, so that's 6th floor in the corner, so that's my apartment. Just the kitchen
02:20and the living room and the bedroom, so for four people, yeah, my mom and dad and my brother.
02:26A special feeling, you know, for me to be back in my hometown because it's a small town and everybody,
02:32everybody know me and I knew everybody here. It's like back in Detroit, people, the fans in Detroit,
02:39the number one team in the city, so, and this is kind of like a small version of Hockey Town,
02:47but it's in Russia. Almost every day, when you go to school in the morning, so in the afternoon,
02:52come back to school, get some, finish your homework and then put your skates on and play the game,
03:01play hockey for the rest of the day.
