00:00Giro Next Gen Carta Giovanni Nazionale started with a 8.4 km long time trial in and around the
00:14city of Ro, in the province of Milano. A flat but technical TT, especially in the second part of
00:19the course. Some of the best young talents in the world are willing to start a race that could
00:24potentially change their career. The first rider to start was Simone Escoli, the winner of Il
00:29Paglio del Recciotto in April and is the first of 165 riders representing 33 different teams.
00:37The German Tobias Müller and Antoine Lotte, the French rider of Decathlon,
00:44finishing just one second behind the Kiwi rider Roberts and same faith applies for Michael Ben Wiggins.
00:53In the meantime, TT specialist and previous MTB champion of Lotto development team Aldo Tailleu
01:02starting his Giro Next Gen with high hopes. Tobias Müller finishing 11 seconds behind the best time
01:10and Aldo Tailleu keeping a good pace. Another interesting name for Red Bull Borans,
01:17great rookies in the likes of Boaschi having a very promising star who will indeed be the next one
01:22to beat. Adam Rafferty, brother of Darren who participated in Giro Next Gen in 2023 and Danny Starr,
01:28one of the big names of the race, Albert Weed and Philipsen at the start of the Giro Next Gen.
01:32Carta Giovelli Nazionale, Adam Rafferty crossing the line
01:36and Jakob Onsel, another name for the GC battle. But now it's time for Philipsen to lead the provisional
01:46time standings, the first stage of the Giro Next Gen and Jürgen Nordhagen of the Devo team of Wismar
01:54Lisebike flying toward a promising revenge after last year's edition. Schwarzbachen in the meantime
02:01overthrew Philipsen from the hot seat with an amazing performance, six seconds faster.
02:15It's now time for Lorenzo Marcfin, the Italian rider of Red Bull Borans, great rookies to start.
02:20Now the Italian rider Niccolò Arighetti and Lorenzo Marcfin will also do a good TT,
02:26crossing the line 14 seconds behind Philipsen. Felixson Christoff, first man of Wonti and it's now
02:35turn for Finn's teammate Turley to start the race, which later is going to reveal his TT abilities.
02:46It's now turn for Lewis Bauer, another Kiwi rider of Groupama FTJ.
02:50And Callum Turnley, as mentioned before, closing the race just three seconds behind Schwarzbacher of
03:00UAE team Gen Z.
03:01Another close finish of Mathis van Kerkhove, the 18-year-old Belgian from Wismar Lisebike,
03:17finished just one second behind the Slovakian rider of UAE. But it's now time for the last
03:22one to start, the winner of last year's edition, Jarno Vidar, who will try to make double,
03:26something which has never happened before in the history of the race. Not an easy start for him,
03:32getting rid of the visor, but still managing to make a good TT, finishing just seven seconds behind
03:39another GC favourite, Nordhagen, and 19 seconds behind Schwarzbacher.
03:46Schwarzbacher now can celebrate. He absolutely can't believe it, because not only has he won the race,
03:52but he will also wear the first Maglia Rosa of the Giro Next Gen Carta Gioveni Nazionale,
03:58having won the individual time trial. And now it's the time for the podium ceremony.
04:09Celebrating with the Astoria wine, we'll celebrate three times for the victory,
04:15pink jersey and red jersey for the points classification.
04:19Here he is, wearing the red jersey, leading the general standings of the points classification,
04:38with three points from Van Kerkhove, who will in turn wear the blue jersey, leader of the
04:46KOM jersey, as well as he will be the best young rider by five seconds of Philipsen.
04:58In the meantime, the best Italian rider is Lorenzo Markfinn, of Red Bull Borans Great Rookies.
05:13So, we're going to test them out in the right now.
05:16So, this is long and so I've been looking for a few different views that they are doing.
05:19Now, there you have a few different views that they have.
05:20We're going to make it here for you and I've seen here.
05:22Now, the first of the time, there's a big difference between the stars.
05:24There's a big difference between the stars, so if we created some people with these lands,
05:25the yes they're going to be able to be able to be able to see the stars,
05:27but we've got the best of all the stars, then the fast-sparking cast.
05:27So, we're going to have to keep the stars from the space.
05:28So, we're going to give a few minutes.
05:30So, I'll be a little bit every time for a minute.
05:31So, I'll give you a little bit.
