00:00We are a month away from going to court,
00:02and that is stressful.
00:04We were all excited Alana was back in town from college.
00:08Hey!
00:10Morning!
00:11I'm drinking.
00:13Unfortunately, it was for Draylan's court case,
00:15and the news they received may cost them their relationship.
00:19The judge really could sentence you to 10 years in prison.
00:22If they give you 10 years, I'm going
00:24to have to tell them that I'm going to have to serve with you.
00:26But at least Mama finally gave Alana back
00:28the money she stole.
00:30It was nice that you finally come to your senses
00:32and pay me my money back.
00:33I've got the check.
00:35It's a cashier's check.
00:37Oh, wow.
00:38Meanwhile, I had to make the hardest decision of my life.
00:42I think I'm at the point of getting a divorce.
00:45Do you want to share with him in a session?
00:47That would be probably better.
00:50I love pumping the rest of my life,
00:51but I won't ever let that go.
00:54I did plan on keeping my marriage issues from my family.
00:57You and Defa have been, like, a little distant.
01:01But they kept on frying.
01:03Where the hell was y'all doing?
01:04Mama, I really don't know.
01:05I'm sick of him.
01:07Girlie Bob.
01:09We're getting a divorce.
01:11What?
01:11I don't love him enough to be with him.
01:27Why would you just say it like that?
01:30So y'all stop just asking me, like, what is it?
01:33What are you doing?
01:34What's going on?
01:35Like, that way you just know how.
01:38So the whole sperm thing is a no now, I'm guessing.
01:41A hundred percent.
01:42OK, well.
01:43Maybe you should just look elsewhere, you know?
01:45That might be a little weird.
01:46Well, I mean, I've been feeling the vibe off for a while,
01:49though.
01:49Oh, have you?
01:52Maybe y'all just got married too young.
01:53I love your relationship advice,
01:55because you've had such good past relationships.
01:58Oh, stupid.
01:59If you keep following me, I'm leaving.
02:01Bye.
02:02He obviously doesn't give a .
02:03What do you know about marriage?
02:04This is the first time you've ever been married.
02:06That's right.
02:07This is your first marriage, too.
02:08I mean, you know, a lot of your stuff
02:10could have taken a toll on us, too.
02:12Don't blame me for your problems, because I only had each other.
02:15I'm blaming you for my problems.
02:16But you know how Josh is going to say it is.
02:19Boy, it was your mama.
02:20It was your piece of mama.
02:22She wouldn't have done that.
02:23Oh, my God, Jean.
02:24So who's getting the house?
02:26Mama.
02:27Whoa.
02:28I haven't even told him.
02:30Mama's never kind of the nurturing type.
02:33I mean, the least she could do is be like,
02:35I'm sorry for what you're going through.
02:37Everything's going to be OK, Pumpkin.
02:38But no, she can't do that.
02:40I'm going to go and talk to the therapist
02:41tomorrow with Josh, and make sure
02:44that we do this the civil way.
02:47You don't think y'all can talk it over?
02:48No.
02:51Well, why don't you look at the time?
02:53I best get gone.
02:56Why aren't you glad you don't live here no more?
02:58Right?
02:59Why do you always come and leave so fast?
03:01I mean, you just come and go.
03:02Like, I love coming and going.
03:04Back to people.
03:05Must be nice.
03:06It comes as a shock to me that Pumpkin
03:09is really going to get a divorce.
03:11Like, what's going to happen?
03:13Like, this is going to be crazy.
03:17Josh is almost like a father figure to me.
03:20All boys are covered in cooties,
03:22kind of like chicken pox.
03:24Cooties?
03:24What do you think I am five?
03:26No, stay away from the cooties.
03:30You're going to get in your car, get your and leave.
03:33And if I could buy you a plane ticket to go out there
03:35tomorrow, I would.
03:38Yep.
03:39Be very, very, very smart the whole time.
03:46Now it's like, we're getting a divorce.
03:49What's going to happen with the kids?
03:50Like, I feel like the whole family is just
03:52going to be ripped apart.
03:53We're going back to Colorado drama free, OK?
03:57So when we all be back, we'll show this new court date.
04:00What happened to Debbie Downer?
04:02I mean, I'll have to ask you, because maybe we don't see you,
04:05but every so often.
04:10I told you that that was going to happen.
04:11I told you something was wrong.
04:13I guess you were right.
04:15I was right.
04:24This is, like, insane.
04:26For sure.
04:28I actually just said it like it was nothing.
04:30Like, it was just, wow, working is worse, you know?
04:35Bye, Lana.
04:36Bye, Mama.
04:37I'll be safe.
04:38Y'all be safe.
04:39Don't leave me out, Peggy-bye.
04:44Well, you were upstairs, Peggy-bye.
04:46And it's like, so much is going on.
04:48Am I getting a huggy?
04:49I love you.
04:51I'll see you later, OK?
04:52I'll face something when I get home, OK, Mama?
04:54This is going to suck for Ellie, because it's like,
04:57Ella's at the age now where, like, she's very smart.
05:01And she's somebody that, like, you can't really lie to.
05:04And she'll definitely be like, no, Mama, you're lying.
05:07So this is, like, I don't know how Pumpkin's going to even
05:11tell her that, like, Pumpkin and Dadda
05:13are getting a divorce.
05:14Like, what?
05:17Like, this has come to a shocker to me.
05:19So I just can't even imagine how Ella would take it.
05:22Like, this is going to be crazy.
05:28So you're sure you're good and this is what you want to do?
05:30Yeah.
05:31OK.
05:33I knew something was up.
05:34You just didn't tell me.
05:36I didn't tell anybody except for Lonnie.
05:39Don't you got to be getting Harper or something?
05:40Y'all are bothering me still.
05:42I was making sure if you needed somebody to talk to, I was here.
05:45I'm fine, Jessie.
05:46All righty.
05:47I have a therapist.
05:48All righty.
05:51I guess I'll just let you have some quiet time.
05:52That would be great.
05:54All righty.
05:55Don't forget all the plates.
05:56I won't.
05:57OK.
05:58Pick up after kids.
05:59Have to still pick up after y'all.
06:00Y'all don't even live here.
06:02Well, let me know if you need me.
06:04I need you at work tomorrow.
06:06Well, all righty.
06:07And don't be running your mouth about this stuff, OK?
06:10Okey-doke.
06:11Okey-doke.
06:13It's child safety, not Jessie's safety.
06:18Jessica, grab the doorknob and the inside.
06:24This is why you can't be my real employee right here.
06:26Prime example.
06:30Got it.
06:31All right, Jessie.
06:39That was kind of like an interesting breakfast.
06:41But I mean, if I have to say so, I'm going to pat myself
06:44on the back on this one.
06:46I told Pumpkin before she even married Josh
06:48that she was too young.
06:50I hope you realize this is a lot of responsibility
06:52being that it's hard, like, being able to juggle life,
06:56job, kids.
06:59You're going to have to grow up.
07:01Yeah, but, like, this isn't really the right time
07:04to be like, I told you so.
07:07And we have a lot of stuff going on in our own life.
07:10I know what I mean.
07:11We've got a court case with Caitlyn coming up.
07:13It's, like, stressing everybody out.
07:15Yeah.
07:16Living in the public eye sometimes is not fun,
07:20especially when it comes to, like, this court case
07:23coming up with Caitlyn.
07:24So it's probably going to be blasted all over social media,
07:26all over the media period.
07:29And the same thing with, like, Pumpkin and Josh.
07:31Like, Josh is going to have his truths.
07:33Pumpkin's going to have her truths.
07:35There's going to be people inserting their self
07:36thinking they know the truth but don't really
07:38know a damn thing.
07:40But that's just the way it is being in the public eye.
07:43I mean, this is, like, wild as , you know?
07:45Like, it's definitely crazy.
07:47It's definitely wild, you know?
07:49But that just goes to show you that, like, nobody's perfect.
07:52And everybody, no matter how they're made out to be,
07:55have issues.
07:56So, I mean, I guess, you know, she doesn't
07:58have the perfect marriage.
07:59So I guess now we have, like, what everybody would say
08:02would be the, um, picturesque marriage now.
08:08Well, Joombo, like, we have our issues that we have
08:12to work on every day, too.
08:13We ain't perfect.
08:15Our life isn't picture skew.
08:19Oh.
08:38Hi.
08:39How you doing?
08:40How are you?
08:41I'm doing good.
08:42Good.
08:43Good.
08:44Come on in.
08:45Where's Josh?
08:46Um, I think he's a little bit behind me.
08:48OK.
08:49I think.
08:50Cool.
08:51Come on in.
08:52Knowing today that I have to tell Josh that I do want a divorce,
08:57I am nervous.
08:58I'm scared to see, like, how he's going to react,
09:00because, like, I don't want to upset him,
09:02and I don't want to hurt him.
09:03But I do know that we're on two very different levels of what
09:07we want out of this relationship.
09:09And I'm at the point where I am done, and he is not.
09:12So, Ms. Pumpkin, what have you heard from Josh?
09:17Is, like, any conversation with him?
09:19Like, does he even know when he comes in here,
09:22what we're going to be talking about?
09:24Like, I know that Josh does want to fix things,
09:27and wanting to see if, like, again, we can work it out.
09:30But, like, we've tried to work it out a multitude of times,
09:33and it's just, like, it's not working for us, you know?
09:36Ugh.
09:38Yeah.
09:40I am a little nervous.
09:44I feel you.
09:45Whew.
09:46OK, well, I think that's him.
09:50Hey, Josh.
09:51Hey, how are you?
09:52All right.
09:53Nice to see you again.
09:54Yeah.
09:54Come on in.
09:55It's good to see you again.
10:02So, how are you doing today?
10:05Been all right.
10:05Yeah?
10:06OK.
10:07Best I can be.
10:08I get that.
10:10I get that.
10:10I get that.
10:11So, Pumpkin, you want to share anything?
10:22I was, like, talking to her, you know?
10:25Mm-hmm.
10:25Like, last session, you didn't come,
10:27and we haven't been able to, like, really, like, communicate.
10:32We've only been, like, passing each other at the house or, you know, making dinner and doing
10:40what we need to do for the kids, but it hasn't, like, we're still not communicating.
10:44We're still not.
10:45Like, I don't want to continue doing this if that's, like, the point that we're at now.
10:53Like, I think it would just be better if maybe, like, we just both, like, put our, you know,
11:02like, put our big girl panties on, and we just, like, filed for a divorce.
11:16Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
11:18Well, y'all just missed a phone call.
11:20What phone call?
11:21Ready to go to court tomorrow, talking to the judge?
11:23Yeah.
11:23How did everything go back home?
11:27Pumpkin tells me that they're getting a divorce.
11:29I haven't even really told you, like, the worst part.
11:32We all know that Mama talks too much.
11:34I can't believe this.
11:35So, of course, Mama wants to get up there on the stand and say stuff she has no business saying.
11:49Like, I think it would just be better if we just, like, filed for a divorce.
11:59Because, like, I don't want to get to a point in a year from now where, like, I can't stand you,
12:07we can't agree with the kids, we can't sit in the same room, we can't enjoy the holidays together.
12:15When Pumpkin asked for a divorce, it was kind of like a stab in the throat, almost speechless in a sense.
12:23Just never thought we'd be at this point in our loves.
12:30To me, it's just like throwing 10 years out of the window, really, in all honesty.
12:34It is my privilege to pronounce you finally husband and wife.
12:37You may kiss your beautiful bride, Josh.
12:40Everybody, come on.
12:41We're married, y'all.
12:44I love you.
12:45Everyone meet Ella Grace.
12:51She's perfect.
12:53Look what we did.
12:55You did good, sugar.
12:56Hearts have buzzed off.
13:00That is the best.
13:01Mommy.
13:03I love you, man.
13:05I love you.
13:07Josh, how are you feeling right now?
13:09It's hard to say.
13:18Yeah.
13:20What's coming up for you?
13:30I don't have a time machine, so I can't go back, you know?
13:32Mm-hmm.
13:33But I wish I could.
13:34Yeah, I feel you.
13:35And do what?
13:39Change for the betterment of my marriage.
13:42Instead of being so angry.
13:44I hear you.
13:50You know, I do hate to see Josh cry.
13:52And I do hate that I've broken his heart and I've hurt him.
13:56But for so long, like, I've begged for communication.
13:59I've begged to go on dates and all the things that normal people do in a marriage that we
14:04haven't been doing for years.
14:06And now I'm at my wits end with it.
14:09Like, I'm tired of begging.
14:10I'm tired of asking.
14:11So for the first time in my life, I feel like I'm making myself happy.
14:15And I just hope that Josh understands that.
14:19What would you say you've learned, Popkin?
14:22I would say that, like, I've learned that it's okay to put yourself first.
14:27Mm-hmm.
14:27I think that's my biggest thing.
14:29We've put everybody ahead of ourselves.
14:32Yeah.
14:33Every time.
14:34I guess it's another problem I need to fix.
14:38Alana's already pissed off at me because Jessica questioned her about the whole Colorado thing,
14:42which obviously is my fault.
14:44Then you turn around and Jalen's just not doing .
14:48I'm so sick and tired of hearing about Jean this, Jean that, Jean up here.
14:52It would not bother me one bit if I never ever seen Jean again.
14:57I can't really do that.
14:58I commend you for being, you know, communicable right now, like you're amicable in this space.
15:07And so with that being the case, where do we go from here, right?
15:11Like, what are their next steps or are there, is there a next step for you now?
15:16Um, I think probably like our next step is just like trying to figure out, like come to an agreement,
15:23like the things that we do have, like the kids, the, you know, the house.
15:28Like we do have things together.
15:30Mm-hmm.
15:31But like, I think we figure those things out and then we, like, file.
15:37Mm-hmm.
15:38Okay. Where are you with that, Josh? How are you?
15:41I want to be on the same page.
15:43Okay.
15:43You know, me and Pumpkin said we would never do this to the kids,
15:47the whole broken home thing. And I think that's what really hits home.
15:52I went through a divorce as a child also. And watching the bickering and the arguing, it sucked.
16:00I mean, I don't want my kids to go through it. But at this particular point, we have no choice.
16:04So what I can do is to be more cordial than my parents were at times.
16:12Make sure that everybody knows that I'm always here, no matter what. And just to be completely
16:18honest the whole time. At this point, my children's mental health means more to me than anything.
16:24Yeah. I commend you for that. So how do you talk to your children? And is this what you're going to
16:32say? Like, are you going to let them know? I think we're probably just like, the only one
16:37that I feel like can really like comprehend right now is Ella.
16:40Yeah, Ella. Okay.
16:42So I do think like us sitting down and talking to her and just like letting her know, like, things
16:47are going to be different. But like the love that both of me and your daddy have,
16:51that isn't changing. Like, telling her like, regardless, even though we're splitting up,
16:56it doesn't mean that I stop loving you any less or your daddy stops loving you any less. Like,
17:01we're still going to be there to take care of you. We're still going to be there to,
17:05you know, school events or sporting events or whatever the case may be. Like,
17:09like, none of that changes. Just the way that we live is going to change, you know.
17:15Children not only see what you do, they feel what you do.
17:20Right.
17:21And so I think it will be very beneficial to the children, how you show up.
17:26Right.
17:27Let me, let me give you a few minutes to just chat a little bit.
17:35You know, I do thank you for like,
17:38actually like communicating with me and like,
17:41like wanting really to do what's best for the kids.
17:43You're welcome.
17:45You know, I do still love you and I'll always love you.
17:50I love you.
17:54And if you want to, you can go home with the kids and then I'll just
18:00figure out somewhere to go, you know.
18:15I'm going to put it on the paper, boo.
18:25I love you, daddy. I'm going to make you a picture.
18:28Thank you, boo.
18:34I don't think painting is going to help your stress.
18:37Stress?
18:39Do I look stressed to you?
18:43What does stress look like?
18:44It's when your face crinkles up like that.
18:50Am I okay?
18:53Definitely not.
18:55I mean, I never thought that it would end this way.
18:58Like, I wanted things to be different.
19:03We fought to work it out, but
19:08sometimes things don't work out.
19:09Dad.
19:11Go get her.
19:11Come upstairs.
19:13Come on, Nanay.
19:14Come on.
19:15It's okay.
19:15See you, baby.
19:16Come on.
19:17Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
19:33What you going to do now?
19:34Probably why I'm going to stay here, you know, think it over.
19:36Well, see, look at you.
19:37Always come back home to Mama.
19:38Feels like there's no light at the end of the tunnel.
19:44We could walk out of this courtroom today and never see Kaitlyn again.
19:47Are you ready for this, Kaitlyn?
19:49I got out what I felt the court needed to hear.
19:52What happened?
20:05With this whole divorce thing, like, as much as I didn't really want to do it,
20:10I know that it had to be done.
20:11And I know that it hurts both of us in the long run.
20:15But I do care a lot about Josh and I care about his mental state.
20:18And that's where Justin comes in.
20:23Who was knocking?
20:24I don't know.
20:26It's the police running.
20:29Bitch, why are you knocking?
20:31Because what are you doing?
20:35Vibrating, working out.
20:36I'm just trying to figure out, like, how this is working out.
20:39Because when I started this five weeks ago, I weighed 255.
20:42This morning when I woke up, I weighed 232.
20:45So in five weeks, I have lost 23 pounds.
20:50I don't even go to the gym.
20:51This is my gym.
20:52I mean, you got to wait a minute.
20:53I mean, I'll be done working out.
20:54And I didn't come to talk to you.
20:55I come to talk to Justin.
20:57So what are you over here for?
20:58Well, Josh was going back to the house.
21:00Because we, like, today went to the therapy shop.
21:04How'd that go?
21:05Today was really, like, us sitting down with the therapist
21:08and, like, me asking him for a divorce.
21:11What?
21:11You thought he got through with it?
21:13Yeah.
21:14How did he take it today?
21:16I mean, of course he's, like, sad and stuff.
21:18Like, I don't think that he's, like, shot.
21:20Like, I think he knew that was coming.
21:21Like, I think he knew that, like, we haven't been doing good.
21:24I'm not going to wait around forever for us to be able to communicate with each other
21:27and put our kids through that.
21:29I'm not...
21:29Yeah, don't stay with the kids.
21:30I don't want to do that.
21:31Like, I told him at the end of the conversation today.
21:33He was like, I still want to be best friends with you.
21:35I still want to be cordial for the kids.
21:36I still want us to be able to do things with the kids together.
21:39Which is hard.
21:40Right.
21:40Because it is hard when people are together for a long period of time and then break up.
21:43Yeah.
21:44Sometimes you can be friends.
21:45Sometimes you can't.
21:46Right.
21:47I mean, so, you know, I was kind of, like, thinking, you know, like, maybe you could,
21:53you know, like, talk to him.
21:54Like, man to man.
21:56I just know that, like, he does respect you a lot.
21:58Maybe he'll talk to you.
22:00Counselor Justin.
22:01I can go talk to him.
22:03Stop by and check on him, see what he's up to.
22:05I mean, this would be a good time for you to bond with your mama, though.
22:08You can get on the squatter machine.
22:10So, yeah, look, you go in there, sit on the squatter, and she can be on the plate,
22:13and y'all can work out together.
22:15Do y'all do that?
22:16No.
22:16All right, well, I'm going to go check on Joshy Poot.
22:19I'll let you know how it goes.
22:23What you doing?
22:24I'm not going to have a conversation with you to get off that ridiculous-ass thing.
22:30Well, I mean, you need to go work on that thing.
22:31You know, you're at 206, that squatter machine will take your name.
22:37And so what you going to do now?
22:39What do you mean, what am I going to do?
22:41I mean, you're getting a divorce.
22:42Like, what are you going to do, like?
22:45I don't know.
22:46There's a lot of things that I have to figure out.
22:48I mean, that's probably why I'm going to stay here, you know, think it over.
22:50You stay here.
22:51Well, see, look at you, always come back home to mama.
22:55I just want to really try to figure my stuff out.
22:58Like, you just need to work on yourself and do, do pumpkin.
23:01Like, this bitch.
23:03Knock, knock.
23:10Come on in.
23:24What are you doing?
23:26Yeah.
23:27What are you doing?
23:28Put it on the paper.
23:28Sister Guff, you painting over there?
23:31Where's everybody at?
23:33They followed Ella upstairs.
23:34You know, Pumpkin stopped by the house, so I wanted to come by and check on you.
23:39She said y'all went to therapy, see how he was holding up.
23:43It's something I didn't want to go through in life at all.
23:46And, you know, divorce is hard.
23:48You know, I've been through it.
23:51It sucks, bro.
23:52You know, there's some kind of love there.
23:54Like, you know, that was one of the things she stopped by for,
23:57because she said she was worried about you, wanted somebody to come check on you, so.
24:00I know it's rough, too.
24:04I know it feels like there's no light at the end of the tunnel.
24:09That's probably the hardest part.
24:11You just feel stuck.
24:13Stuck.
24:14You know, it really sucks seeing Josh this tore up.
24:17I mean, I understand what he's going through.
24:19You know, I've been through divorce, and there's no easy way to say it or to sugarcoat it.
24:24It's rough, and it's going to be hard for a while.
24:26You know, he's going to have moments where he feels down and out,
24:29and the best thing I can do for him is just be there and support him.
24:36She's such a daddy's girl.
24:40Thank God for the kids, because there's the only thing keeping me wholesome.
24:44Yeah, how could they not?
24:47Kids is what hurt the most, because they don't deserve this.
24:50But as long as y'all put the kids first, you know, and understand that that's what's important.
24:56That's what's most important to me at this moment.
25:00I love being around him.
25:01Anytime you need a babysitter, just call.
25:03I appreciate it.
25:05I mean, within a divorce,
25:08you kind of divorce the family.
25:10I'm super glad Justin gives enough to come and check on me.
25:19Divorce in June won't be so bad.
25:21I could care less, but Justin, on the other hand, has been a decent dude to me.
25:28So at least I've got him on my side in some of this.
25:32I mean, there's always been bumps along the way.
25:37Figured those out.
25:41I guess just this time couldn't figure this bump out.
25:44I'm excited to be back in Colorado.
25:54I'm excited to be back in Colorado.
26:06Me too.
26:07I'm glad I missed you.
26:08It's been a long time since you really hung out like this.
26:11I know, and I'm excited.
26:17So cute.
26:18Hi guys.
26:18Hi, how are you?
26:19We're doing good.
26:21Good.
26:21Do you have a reservation?
26:22We do.
26:22Awesome.
26:23What's the first name?
26:24Alana.
26:25Perfect.
26:26I'm grateful to be back in Colorado and away from everybody right now is an understatement,
26:31but I'm glad that Makayla come and we're having like a little girl's day because it's like,
26:36I need somebody to just word vomit to.
26:40How did everything go back home?
26:43It was, it was just a lot.
26:46Why?
26:46What do you mean?
26:47Well, Jalen's lawyer, Sarah, needed to emergencyly meet with Jalen.
26:53Oh.
26:53So she was saying that like Jalen will be looking at 10 years of jail time.
26:57Oh my God.
26:58Where does that leave you in all of this?
27:01I do feel like we will figure it out, but it is like, it's scary.
27:05Like Jalen's scared.
27:06Yeah.
27:08And I don't know, like, I just hope that it doesn't get to that point.
27:12Well, it sounds like you had a rough and eventful weekend.
27:16Oh, you thought that was rough and eventful.
27:18I haven't even really told you like the worst part.
27:20So I come home and like, I felt like Pumpkin and Josh were just being off.
27:26Like it just wasn't them, their normal self.
27:28So I sat down and had a conversation with Pumpkin and she tells me that they're getting a divorce.
27:33Yeah.
27:36Oh my God.
27:38A divorce.
27:39Like, I'm sorry to hear about that.
27:41Yeah.
27:42And I mean, Josh, it's like your dad.
27:44Literally.
27:46So like, I don't even know.
27:47How do you feel about it all?
27:49I was a little upset, but like, honestly, at the end of the day, there's like nothing that I can do to stop the divorce.
27:54She knows.
27:55Yeah.
27:56I'm a hundred percent not choosing sides, but at the end of the day, Pumpkin's my sister, so.
28:02I get it.
28:03But I still love Dada and I like loved everything he did for me and I appreciate everything he's done for me.
28:08You don't want to get like too involved in everything, you know?
28:11Yeah.
28:11You don't want to be in the middle.
28:13I definitely don't want to be in the middle of it.
28:15So I'll stay here in Colorado and we'll paint pottery all the time.
28:19Yes.
28:20I love that.
28:22Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
28:25Where have you been?
28:26At Gigi's.
28:27Why?
28:29Unfortunately, we have to be left up to the judge.
28:32How are you doing?
28:33I mean, I wouldn't lie if I wasn't nervous.
28:35The tension is real.
28:45The man plays crack.
28:57The man's gone.
28:59You know, it's only been a day since Pumpkin asked for the divorce.
29:15and it's just weird.
29:19It's like it's unknown territory in a sense
29:21because it's just like I'm here with the kids
29:22and everybody's asking where mom is
29:25and it's just like, I don't know.
29:29Kids have no clue what's going on.
29:31They don't even know what color the sky is.
29:32So it's just like, what do you tell four kids?
29:37I miss you, Bobby.
29:40It's not good.
29:41I'm sorry.
29:42I'm sorry, Pete.
29:44Where are the babies?
29:45Everybody's still asleep.
29:48Give me a kiss.
29:51I love you.
29:52Come here, Bobby, man.
29:54Bobby, man, give me a kiss.
29:55Hey, give me a kiss.
29:58I'll be back, okay?
29:59Okay.
30:06I just keep telling myself it's going to get better.
30:09It's a process.
30:10Like now he has to go through the grieving and stuff.
30:13And really, I just hope that we can keep it cordial
30:15for our kids' sake
30:16because it's going to be sooner than later
30:19that we have to tell Ella.
30:20Ella is very smart for her age.
30:23So what have y'all been doing?
30:24Nothing.
30:26Where have you been?
30:27At Gigi's.
30:28Because I just went and spent the night over there.
30:32Because I just needed to have some adult time, you know?
30:40Let's see if we have any popsicles.
30:44Ella Grace, I'm giving your brother this popsicle.
30:50I need you to keep an eye on him for like five minutes
30:52because I need a shower.
30:53I'm taking a shower.
30:54You hear what I'm telling you?
30:56Yeah.
30:56Because you're being silly and goofy and stuff.
31:00You need to get in the shower, stinky.
31:03It better be funny.
31:08No, no, I'm not funny.
31:10Hello?
31:28Hello?
31:32Um, yes?
31:34Tomorrow?
31:35I mean, for real?
31:37Like, they can do that?
31:39So my lawyer just called and they said
31:41that my court date got moved up from a month from now
31:44to tomorrow when it comes to Caitlin.
31:46Like, that ain't how it's supposed to work.
31:51Okay, well, just tell Johnny to like text me the time
31:54and like where to be at and stuff.
31:56All right, all right, talk to you later.
31:57All right, fine.
31:59Ugh.
32:00Let me explain the court case to y'all.
32:02It is Michael, Anna's ex versus myself
32:06for custody of Caitlin.
32:08Even though Anna told all of us
32:11that she wanted Caitlin to stay with us,
32:13she never put it in writing or anything else.
32:17Michael is not Caitlin's biological father
32:20and we don't know who honestly is.
32:22The only reason Michael's able to go after me
32:25is because he paid for some of Caitlin's school.
32:28So under this new Georgia law,
32:29if you paid for a child,
32:32you can go for equity of care
32:34for that child and custody.
32:39Well, it took y'all long enough.
32:40Well, I had to go get your food.
32:42I mean...
32:42Well, y'all just missed a phone call.
32:44A phone call.
32:45Well, I mean, are you ready to go to court tomorrow
32:47and talk to the judge?
32:48Tomorrow?
32:49Yeah, tomorrow morning.
32:50What is...
32:50That's a short notice.
32:51Yeah, huns, buns.
32:52Yeah, they can do that.
32:54You know what?
32:56Yeah, I figured it had been a little bit...
32:57I thought you had 30 days, but no.
33:02Well, this sucks.
33:03Like, I mean, I'm just not getting comfortable
33:05into, like, this whole, like, house thingy.
33:08And, like, now this court popped up
33:10and, like, it's tomorrow.
33:11So, like, I'm kind of nervous
33:13because, like, he don't know what's gonna happen next.
33:15But, like, we knew this was coming,
33:16so, like, going into panic mode
33:18doesn't fix anything.
33:19Honestly, I really ain't ready to, like,
33:21deal with Michael's dumb ass
33:22but I know he's gonna bring up my freaking past.
33:26He's gonna bring up your past.
33:27Who doesn't have a past?
33:30I mean, at the end of the day,
33:31I'm her biological grandparent
33:33and I'm not gonna lose Caitlin
33:34because Michael ain't getting it.
33:36I'm sorry.
33:38Where are you going?
33:40To have a moment.
33:41A moment?
33:42You were having a moment right here
33:44with...
33:44We were having a conversation.
33:46Well, you ain't listening.
33:48I ain't...
33:48Lee, I am listening.
33:50I just...
33:51You only want to hear what June wants to hear.
33:53But, like...
33:54Golly.
33:55Oh.
33:56Nobody understands, Anna.
33:59Oh.
33:59Anna, you are heavy as bitch.
34:03Anyway, we made a promise to you
34:04and, like, I'm trying to keep it
34:06but, like, keeping it together
34:08has not been an easy feat
34:10because, like, this has just literally consumed
34:13our whole entire life
34:14for the last seven months.
34:17So, bitch, I'm mad at you every day
34:20because you're not here for Caitlin and Kylie
34:22because we would not be going through this shit, bitch.
34:24But I need you to damn channel yourself through me,
34:28speak what you need to speak on the stand,
34:30we say what we need to say,
34:32and get the hell off the stand.
34:34That's all I need you to do.
34:40Coming up on Mama June Family Crisis.
34:43They are gonna cook Mama, too.
34:44Yeah, they are.
34:44I mean, Mama's gonna deal with that shit.
34:46We just got word that the judge
34:47wants to talk to Caitlin
34:48and get her side.
34:50I just want you to tell what you know.
34:53All right, guys, let's go.
35:04Let's go, Caitlin.
35:05It's time to go to court.
35:06Let's go.
35:07I'm ready.
35:08Come on.
35:09You're gonna wear a T-shirt to court?
35:11No, I'm waiting on my shirt to finish drawing.
35:13You should have did that last night.
35:16Oh, my God, you take your clothes so we can go.
35:18So I thought you said you was ready.
35:20Babe, come on.
35:21We had to be there at 8.30.
35:25This has consumed our lives
35:27pretty much for the last seven months
35:29because Anna's been gone seven months.
35:31Even though we know what Anna wanted at the end of the day,
35:34unfortunately, we have to be left up to the judge.
35:36And we don't know what the judge is gonna do.
35:39I mean, y'all, I'm not gonna lie.
35:40I mean, I'm freaking out.
35:41I am worried that I am gonna lose Caitlin.
35:45Let's go.
35:54Are you ready for this, Caitlin?
36:02I don't know.
36:06I'm a pumpkin, bro.
36:07I feel kind of nervous.
36:09I have, like, my stomach starting to hurt a little bit
36:10because, like, I'm kind of nervous.
36:12I don't know what's gonna happen.
36:14The tension is real.
36:15Oh, there's Eldridge.
36:19Eldridge is Anna's husband of one year,
36:21but they were together for eight years.
36:23He pretty much raised the kids
36:25since they were very little.
36:27He may be called to testify.
36:29So I do want Eldridge to go up there
36:31and tell his truth if he is called.
36:33But also, he knows what Anna wanted.
36:36Anna wanted Caitlin to stay with her biological family,
36:39and we're gonna fight like hell to have that happen.
36:43Damn, look at all they see what Michael's got with him.
36:47There ain't no telling what Michael's gonna pull in court.
36:50So today is a day that we're gonna come face to face,
36:54and this is gonna be handled.
36:55We're gonna walk in together and out together.
36:59Okay, Caitlin?
37:03Honestly, with this being the first day of court,
37:05there is a lot on the line.
37:06We could walk out of this courtroom today
37:08and never see Caitlin again,
37:10or Mama could leave with her.
37:12It could go either ways at this point.
37:14I really am scared for the outcome.
37:16It's lunchtime, y'all.
37:27And, I mean, Michael done called 15 witnesses.
37:30Half of them ain't seen him since 2017.
37:33I mean, Michael was digging deep.
37:36It's 12-11.
37:36We have an hour.
37:38I'm getting something to drink.
37:42Anyway, so Michael was just up there on the stand,
37:45and she's like, you know, Pumpkin reached out
37:47and has been reaching out since January,
37:50like, since before January.
37:52To see Kylie, you keep ignoring her
37:53and you keep blowing her off.
37:55He's like, yes.
37:56He says, well, it's Caitlin's responsibility
37:59as a 12-year-old kid to give June his contact information.
38:04How is it her?
38:05She's a kid.
38:06I can't remember my own number.
38:07And he literally admitted that he hadn't texted her
38:10in, like, five months, but you cared?
38:12That is wild.
38:13They are gonna cook Mama, too.
38:15Yeah, they are.
38:15I mean, Mama's gonna deal with it.
38:17She's gonna have to take it to the 10.
38:19The scary part with this court stuff is, yeah,
38:21Michael's gonna get on the stand
38:22and Mama's lawyer's gonna chew him a new one,
38:25but Mama also has to get on that stand
38:27and is gonna get it 10 times harder
38:29because she was a drug addict.
38:34She was a parent.
38:36I'm scared to take her out.
38:38And all of that has been documented
38:39through national television,
38:41which, in my opinion, does scare me a little bit.
38:43If somebody's gonna leave today
38:45with exhales and put on that leg,
38:46then somebody ain't gonna be happy.
38:47I didn't even get to talk to the judge, guys.
39:04That is some bull .
39:06Because Michael called so many witnesses,
39:10we gotta come back tomorrow.
39:12The best part of Michael's testimony for today
39:15had to be out of the 276 pages of tapes messages
39:20between him and Anna that I had.
39:21It says that Caitlin doesn't wanna be over there,
39:25and also Anna doesn't want Michael
39:28to have custody of Caitlin.
39:31And all this is just really nerve-wracking
39:33for all of us involved.
39:35So what time do I need to do?
39:36Um, maybe we got first day in the morning.
39:38You all ready?
40:07Come on, Caitlin.
40:12Today you will talk to the judge.
40:13Today I will talk to the courtroom.
40:16I just want you to tell what you know.
40:18At the end of the day, it's what you want.
40:20We just got word that the judge
40:21wants to talk to Caitlin
40:22and get her side in what she's feeling.
40:26I think it's a very good thing
40:27that the judge is going to speak with her.
40:30I'm just ready to get over with,
40:31because this child needs to rest,
40:33and my daughter needs to rest.
40:34Anna has not rested in seven months
40:37and 13 days now.
40:39Come on, Caitlin.
40:39All right, guys, let's go.
40:41How are you doing?
40:42I mean, I wouldn't laugh.
40:43I wasn't nervous.
40:44I'd probably cry about a lot of things.
40:46It's okay to cry,
40:47but, like, remember,
40:48don't let them get you off
40:49what you're supposed to be talking about.
40:50Oh, no, I'm not.
40:51Trust me.
40:51Whatever, it was a court case
40:52a hundred times.
41:09We had a system
41:10that you said,
41:12I'm not going to be able to see you,
41:13you know, do something obvious,
41:15like play with your hair.
41:16Girl, I literally don't think
41:19I could have played with my hair
41:20anymore without being like...
41:22Me and Brody had some hand signals,
41:24and I started over-talking
41:25that she was going to mess with her hair
41:26so I could be able to see it.
41:27And I didn't see her messing with her hair.
41:29Brody might be a little bit mad at me,
41:31but at least I got out
41:33what I felt was what the court needed to hear.
