02:45And their opponent making her way to the ring from San Diego, California,

02:55Naya Jax, who had passed Jade in this tournament a year ago.

03:03Jade was DQ'd, hit her with a steel chair.

03:05There is Piper Niven,

03:07who is the fourth member of this first-round Fatal Four-Way Queen of the Ring tournament.

03:13But a year ago, Naya took advantage.

03:15She advanced herself, became Queen of the Ring,

03:19went on to win the Women's Championship at SummerSlam.

03:23And now she steps in to this Queen of the Ring,

03:28first-round Fatal Four-Way.

03:31Let's call her what she is, Queen Naya.

03:35At least for the time being, at least for two more weeks,

03:39and perhaps beyond that, should she win it again?

03:42I have enjoyed the reign of Queen Naya.

03:46Long may it continue.

03:49Jade Meechin, Naya Jax, and Piper Niven.

03:52Piper, who's trying to regain the momentum that she had

03:54as the runner-up of Queen of the Ring in 2021.

03:57Quick to the floor with Meechin, just slamming her into the barrier.

04:01I said it earlier, three of the biggest powerhouses in WWE history.

04:06And Meechin, who, in fairness, is...

04:10Getting out of the way.

04:11The most hardcore woman of them all.

04:14Now, this is not a hardcore match, obviously,

04:16but it's certainly gonna feel like that,

04:18given the amount of firepower these four women hold.

04:23Jade just slammed Naya into the steel step so hard

04:27that they moved about a foot.

04:28And now, right in the center of the ring,

04:31Jade and Meechin face off.

04:33I was thinking earlier on her entrance,

04:35nothing could improve the visage that is Jade Cargill.

04:39However, I was wrong.

04:41A crown certainly would be highly appropriate

04:44on this apparition that is the Storm.

04:48Look at the athleticism, and look at the strength.

04:51Backbreaker, as she goes right into the lateral press,

04:54and Meechin able to kick out with ease.

04:55And I love the fact that you mentioned in last year's tournament,

04:58it was Naya Jax who knocked out Jade Cargill.

05:02This is a very, very different Jade Cargill.

05:05It's a Jade Cargill now who stands on her own two feet,

05:08and that was abundantly clear after a performance at WrestleMania 41 this year against Naomi.

05:14There's no doubt about it.

05:15That WrestleMania moment for Jade Cargill, that was special.

05:21Beautiful dropkick there from Meechin.

05:24No other woman in close proximity.

05:52Meanwhile, back in the ring, Naya Jax looking to take control against Jade Cargill.

05:56There was a high-risk senton from Piper Niven on the outside.

05:59Kind of took herself out in the process,

06:02and that is exactly the opening Naya Jax was looking for

06:05to take full control of this match.

06:07Now, these two in the ring, they know what it is like to tangle with each other.

06:12Naya Jax is saying, I want that crown.

06:14I will be queen again.

06:16Yes, indeed.

06:17Naya Jax offered a major setback several weeks ago,

06:20trying to dethrone Tiffany Stratton.

06:23Well, you win the queen of the ring again,

06:27There has never been a two-time queen or king of the ring in WWE.

06:35Naya trying to be back-to-back as Piper Niven comes back in to enter the fray.

06:40And I think they're looking at each other, Wade, and saying,

06:41how do we want to manage and handle Jade Cargill?

06:51because it behooves both of them to do so in their pursuit of victory tonight.

11:06The winner of this tournament gets a championship opportunity at SummerSlam in early August at MetLife Stadium.

11:14Well, Piper Niven and Nia Jax have been working in cahoots.

11:18It was working so well until that flurry from Jade Cargill.

11:23But now normal service has resumed.

11:28Piper Niven, what an opportunity this would be at this stage of her career.

11:33Nia Jax trying to be a back-to-back winner in Queen of the Ring.

11:38The green regime's house of cards has been tumbling of late, mainly thanks to U.S. champ Zelina Vega.

12:19Everyone forgot about Meechin, who'd taken a major beating earlier in this match.

12:30Hooks the leg as Meechin, all of a sudden, with an offensive surge.

12:35Well, Meechin, who has been mainly tagging with B-Fab of late, but of course, is always down for any fight in any format.

12:43Really in the ascendancy here.

12:45Oh, she went for the Rana on Jade, but instead countered into the power bomb and the kick out at two and chain.

12:53Yeah, ridiculous core strength there from Jay Cargill, but that ain't going to help you on a basement crossbody from Piper Niven.

13:02It has been impressive stuff here in our Fatal 4-Way.

13:06And it's Piper Niven, now looking to be back in control.

13:12Meechin trying to counter that effort.

13:16Sliced bread there from Meechin.

13:20Oh, she rolls her over, lateral press, and Nia comes in to make the save.

13:25Well, that has to be Meechin's path to victory here.

13:27It's never going to be power against this trio.

13:30Oh, for the win to advance.

13:35And now you see the look in the eye of Queen Nia.

13:39That frustration bubbling up.

13:41Feels she should be home and dry by this point.

13:46You see Jade Cargill on the outside.

13:49And Nia and Piper are coming out to meet her.

13:53Badly damaged Jade Cargill.

13:55They've taken a hell of a beating already in this one.

13:58Look at how courageous she is, though.

14:00Willing to fight both of them.

14:02Well, this is cool, being trapped between a rock and a hard place.

15:47And these two who were acting as a tandem

15:51to get to this point in the match

15:53all of a sudden have turned on each other

15:55right through the barrier of timekeeper.

15:59Piper sends Nia right through the barrier.

16:02May have taken herself up,

16:04but no staggering up is Piper Niven.

16:06I think Queen Nia's done there.

16:08Such a heavy landing.

16:10Boy, and Mee Chin does not want to be in this position.

16:14An enraged Piper who just took out Nia Jax.

16:16And now she's going up to that second rope,

16:20looking for that Piper.

16:21A bomb, and she lands it.

16:23Oh, but here's Jade.

16:25Here's Jade.

16:26Is she going to jade it, Piper?

16:29Wow, she does it.

16:32One, two, three.

16:34How strong is Jade Cargill?

16:36Here is your winner, Jade Cargill!

16:47Wow, what an effort from Jade Cargill rising up from the death.

16:52I think Mee's softening her blow there, assisted the victory.

16:56I'm going to take a big assist on that one, but this is the moment.

16:59Nia Jax's hopes went up in smoke.

17:02And right here Piper Niven thought she had it in the bag,

17:05but Cargill quick as a flash connecting with a massive jade in.

17:11And now Jade Cargill progresses to the semi-final whereupon she will face

17:18the upstart, the newcomer Roxanne Perez,

17:22who qualified earlier this week on Raw.

17:25That matchup will take place next week, right here on SmackDown,

17:30the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament.

17:34Congratulations, Jade Cargill.

17:41And up next, she did it.

17:44And that's a problem for the rest of the division.
