01:45We catch up with Benny and Carmen in the library,

01:49where Benny is about to show off his very weird

01:51and very artsy student film.

01:53Originally, he was supposed to work on it with Miles,

01:56but ever since seeing Miles hookup with that girl

01:58at the Halloween party,

02:00Benny has been keeping his distance.

02:02Oh, and Carmen has been secretly texting Benny's sister Grace,

02:05but she feels guilty,

02:06especially since she slept with Grace's ex Peter.

02:09Yikes!

02:10We found out in a previous episode

02:12that Peter majorly stirred the pot of drama

02:14by leaking the flesh-and-gold book

02:16that's full of unfiltered opinions

02:17about everyone who applied to their entire school.

02:20Naturally, chaos erupts across campus,

02:22and Peter finds himself on the dean's radar.

02:25He totally thought he was about to get expelled,

02:27but plot twist, the dean actually loved the drama.

02:30Instead of punishment,

02:31she saw an opportunity to use the scandal

02:33to boost the university's reputation

02:35and even offered to connect Peter with Charlie,

02:37the alumni, for a job in New York City.

02:39Talk about failing upward.

02:41Meanwhile, Carmen meets up with Grace at a coffee shop

02:44where Carmen is just about to confess that she slept with Peter.

02:47Enter Hayley,

02:48who immediately accuses Carmen of stealing drugs

02:50from a dress she let Carmen borrow.

02:52Now, Carmen is somehow stuck replacing all of Hayley's missing drugs.

02:56And just when you think it couldn't get worse,

02:58Hayley calls Carmen by her gaming name, Tatiana Del Rey,

03:02and Grace's face completely drops

03:03as she puts two and two together about Carmen and Peter.

03:07Benny and George are hanging out at George's job.

03:10With Benny low key seeking advice on navigating his brand new gay life.

03:15Gabe and some of the flesh and gold guys walk in

03:17and immediately start questioning why Benny is even hanging out with George.

03:21When they straight up ask if their friends, Benny hesitates,

03:24but then drops the brutal,

03:26Ouch.

03:27Gabe then asks Benny why he's been a ghost from the frat

03:31and tells them that he wants to honor Benny to be Caesar in their end of the year ritual.

03:36Meanwhile, we cut to Peter in New York,

03:38walking into his big job meeting with Charlie, a notable flesh and gold alumni.

03:43Peter confidently pitches a bunch of reasons why he and his bank should hire him.

03:48And surprise, surprise, unlike last time, Charlie actually agrees.

03:52Carmen bumps into Miles in the park and they start talking about Benny.

03:55Miles admits he feels like Benny has been avoiding him ever since the Halloween party.

03:59He wants to fix things, but has no clue how to even start the conversation.

04:03Carmen plays it cool and suggests that the next time Miles sees Benny,

04:07he should talk to him face to face instead of just texting.

04:10Then we jump to the flesh and gold knighting ceremony,

04:12where Benny is about to be honored as Caesar.

04:15Before the ceremony kicks off, Miles pulls Benny aside, asking if everything is okay.

04:20Benny puts on his best overcompensating act, saying he's just been busy.

04:24In front of everyone, Benny is officially knighted as Caesar.

04:28But in the crowd, Carmen watches furious as she realized Benny straight up lied.

04:32He never quit flesh and gold like he promised he would after she didn't get in.

04:36And just when it seems like Benny is going to keep playing the part,

04:39he does the most dramatic thing possible.

04:41He quits on the spot, throwing down his ceremonial garment,

04:45and runs away in front of the entire school.

04:47Benny shows up at Carmen's dorm, where she calls him out for always twisting the truth.

04:51Benny admits that he lies because he doesn't know how to be honest.

04:55Not just with the people he cares about, but with himself.

04:58He starts spiraling, saying maybe he should stay in the closet forever,

05:02because what if people don't accept him?

05:04She reassures him that she loves him and doesn't think he's a bad friend, just a messy one.

05:09Then, in perfect Haley timing, she shows up casually suggesting they all go to a party.

05:14Because why process emotions when you could just party instead?

05:17At the party, Grace and Mimi are making amends after their messy estranged friendship.

05:23But then, Peter shows up, trying to get in, only to be stopped at the door by Grace and Benny.

05:28And just like that, Grace breaks up with Peter, again.

05:32But before he could even react, he drops a bombshell, admitting that he slept with Carmen.

05:37Except, Grace already knows.

05:39And instead of freaking out, she just shames Peter for sleeping with a freshman.

05:42Carmen tries to apologize to Grace, but nope, she's done.

05:46She storms off, leaving Benny to chase after her.

05:49He literally bumps into George and tries to apologize for how he treated him, but George is not having it.

05:55Carmen stares at herself in the bathroom mirror,

05:58fully realizing that she's officially ruined her relationship with Grace.

06:02Overwhelmed, she decides to leave the party.

06:05But on her way out, she runs into Miles, who looks just as over it as she does.

06:10In the heat of the moment, Miles leans in and kisses her.

06:14Perfect timing for Benny to walk up right as it happens.

06:17His face drops.

06:18And before anyone can explain, he storms off.

06:21Carmen immediately runs after him.

06:23Benny accuses Carmen of wanting to sleep with everyone's boyfriend.

06:26And without missing a beat, Carmen fires the exact same accusation right back at him.

06:31And just when you think things couldn't get any worse, Grace walks in.

06:38Miles walks in at the exact same moment.
